It was clear in the days leading up to yesterday’s Wisconsin beat down of democrats and their public sector union allies that they knew they were probably not going to win. They started setting up their predictable narrative; specifically, (1) Governor Walker’s victory “proves” that “elections can be bought” by “big money special interests,” a moniker that does not apply to the SEIU or AFSME, (2) even if Governor Walker wins, that means nothing when it comes to the presidential election because everyone still LOVES Barack Obama and his policies and (3) the recall will “send a message” to Governor Walker, who, win or lose, will go down in infamy because there was a recall in the first place.
And they did not disappoint, and even outdid themselves by taking to Twitter to post a series of death threats against Gov. Scott Walker. Michelle Malkin’s Twitchy has an excellent collection of these examples of articulate political speech, as noted by Before It’s News. Here are a few choice tweets from the brilliant analysts who want to assassinate the Wisconsin governor.
You guys are all class. I hope that SupaMcNasty and his fellow morons are ready for a visit from some of Milwaukee’s finest, who are now investigating these threats. I certainly hope he isn’t detained long. Otherwise, they’ll to find someone to do all those brain surgeries he was scheduled to perform. Oh wait …he’s not a brain surgeon. He’s a brain donor.

There were also the wholly predictable accusations – totally without evidence, of course – that people were receiving calls about a different day for the election, that signing the petition equaled a vote for Barrett, and other stuff. These are the same accusations I have heard for 35 years! Can’t they come up with anything new? Earth to Dems: most people have caller ID now. If any such calls were made, it would be easy to find out who was making them.
