Afghan Ax Wielder Injures 4 on German Train

What could possibly be the motive for the Afghan ax-wielder? Other questions: does he spell his name ‘Mohammed’ or ‘Mohamed?”

The name of the 17 year-old Afghan “man” has not been released.

From CNN:

An ax-wielding man who attacked several people on a train in southern Germany has been shot dead by police, according to Lt. Fabian Hench, regional police spokesman.

The assailant, armed with a knife and an ax, was identified as a 17-year-old Afghan man living in Ochsenfurt, Bavaria, according to Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann.
The attack took place as the train was traveling between stations. The train made an emergency stop short of the station at Wurzburg-Heidingsfeld and the assailant jumped out of the train, Hench said.
Police hunted the man down with ground searchers and a helicopter, and he was killed, Hench said.
Four people were injured and are in serious condition.
Yes, they did say “The attacker’s motive is not yet known.” MMM… maybe they could ask that murdering lunatic who mowed down a crowd in Nice last week. Oh wait… he is also dead.

  1. I’m still waiting for Angela Merkel or someone from her government to issue the obligatory “nothing to do with refugees” statement. It has to be issued soon!

  2. Laura, as you imply, how do we know that this “child” was actually 17 years old? A lot of these “child” refugees look like the actors who play high school students on TV. No, not that good-looking, but they appear to be in their 20’s to me.

  3. You mean an “assault” ax, Joe? Yes, I guess it was.
