Pretend news is all a twitter with Charles Koch and his comments during yesterday’s interview on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”
Although, as always, I watch so you don’t have to, and yesterday’s interview on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” with Charles Koch was no exception.
Here’s what Koch said that got the “driveby’s” (H/T Rush Limbaugh) so excited. From ABC News:
It’s a nightmare scenario for Republicans, but conservative billionaire Charles Koch says “it’s possible” Hillary Clinton could make a better president than the remaining candidates in the GOP primary.
Koch, one of the most influential and controversial forces in Republican politics, said in an exclusive interview with ABC News to air Sunday on “This Week” that he believed Bill Clinton was a better president “in some ways” than George W. Bush.
Watch the video here.
Koch also compared Donald Trump’s suggestion that we have a Muslim registry, which he subsequently retracted (sort of), with “Nazi Germany,” which I found weird because (1) it makes it clear that he must not know that for decades the United States has had laws, some of which remain on the books, requiring aliens to register (2) any time anyone invokes Nazis, unless they are actually talking about real Nazis, Godwin’s Law kicks in and (3) it’s ironic to hear the bete noir of the Left mention Nazi Germany, when the real evil rich guy involved in politics today is former Nazi sympathizer George Soros.
OF COURSE, as the piece notes, Hillary in full pander mode, immediately rejected any support from the evil Koch.
It’s not really news, but I wanted to mention it since you are going to hear people on TV yammering about it all day. Carry on.
