More Clinton Corruption: Terry McAuliffe Gave $500K to FBI Official Wife’s Campaign

And the FBI Official oversaw the email investigation. And Terry McAuliffe? The hits keep coming. The corruption we are seeing is unprecedented in the history of America. What in the hell is happening to our country? Will the people rise up or validate the Clintons’ many, many crimes by electing the most corrupt politician in American history?

From The Wall Street Journal:

The political organization of Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, an influential Democrat with longstanding ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, gave nearly $500,000 to the election campaign of the wife of an official at the Federal Bureau of Investigation who later helped oversee the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s email use.

Campaign finance records show Mr. McAuliffe’s political-action committee donated $467,500 to the 2015 state Senate campaign of Dr. Jill McCabe, who is married to Andrew McCabe, now the deputy director of the FBI.

The Virginia Democratic Party, over which Mr. McAuliffe exerts considerable control, donated an additional $207,788 worth of support to Dr. McCabe’s campaign in the form of mailers, according to the records. That adds up to slightly more than $675,000 to her candidacy from entities either directly under Mr. McAuliffe’s control or strongly influenced by him. The figure represents more than a third of all the campaign funds Dr. McCabe raised in the effort.

Mr. McAuliffe and other state party leaders recruited Dr. McCabe to run, according to party officials. She lost the election to incumbent Republican Dick Black.

Just who is Terry McAuliffe and how close is he to the Clintons?

Remember when the left the White House “dead broke?” But for his generosity, they would not have been able to purchase their home in Chappaqua, New York.

From The Washington Post:

After President Clinton and fund-raiser extraordinaire Terry McAuliffe played a round of golf in upstate New York on Tuesday, the president made an unscheduled visit to St. Camillus Nursing Home to visit McAuliffe’s ailing 79-year-old mother, Millie, who recently had hip replacement surgery.

Later in the week, McAuliffe returned the favor – and then some. When former White House chief of staff Erskine B. Bowles at the last minute balked at guaranteeing a $1.35 million mortgage for the Clintons’ new house in Chappaqua, N.Y., McAuliffe rode to the president’s rescue.

In a move that enables the Clintons to buy the house – and Hillary Rodham Clinton to have a base for her New York Senate run – the 42-year-old real estate developer and dealmaker pledged to put up $1.35 million in cash to secure a mortgage for the Clintons. Otherwise, swamped by more than $5 million in legal debts, the Clintons might have had difficulty obtaining the loan for the five-bedroom, century-old house.

Ethics law experts said yesterday that there is no legal difficulty with the Clintons’ accepting McAuliffe’s help, but some questioned the propriety of the president’s accepting such a benefit from a private citizen.

“It’s just plain wrong. It’s dangerous. It’s inappropriate,” said Fred Wertheimer of Democracy 21. “This is a financial favor worth over a million dollars to the president.”

And what about Andrew McCabe, the FBI official?

In an amazing coincidence, he helped oversee the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s outlaw email servers, but that was no problem according to the FBI:

Months after the completion of her campaign, then-Associate Deputy Director McCabe was promoted to Deputy, where, in that position, he assumed for the first time, an oversight role in the investigation into Secretary Clinton’s emails.”

FBI officials said that after that meeting with the governor in Richmond on March 7, Mr. McCabe sought ethics advice from the bureau and followed it, avoiding involvement with public corruption cases in Virginia, and avoiding any campaign activity or events.

Mr. McCabe’s supervision of the Clinton email case in 2016 wasn’t seen as a conflict or an ethics issue because his wife’s campaign was over by then and Mr. McAuliffe wasn’t part of the email probe, officials said.…

At the end of July 2015, Mr. McCabe was promoted to FBI headquarters and assumed the No. 3 position at the agency. In February 2016, he became FBI Director James Comey’s second-in-command.

As deputy director, Mr. McCabe was part of the executive leadership team overseeing the Clinton email investigation, though FBI officials say any final decisions on that probe were made by Mr. Comey, who served as a high-ranking Justice Department official in the administration of George W. Bush.

To sum up…

So a long-time Clinton pal and financier arranges for a cool half million dollars to go to the political campaign of the wife of an FBI deputy director who oversaw the investigation into Hillary’s violation of several federal statutes including the Espionage Act. In another amazing coincidence, Bill Clinton happens to run into the Attorney General Loretta Lynch days before FBI director James Comey describes Hillary’s “extremely careless” handling of information that could endanger our national security, but recommends she be allowed to avoid any legal consequences for her crimes. Bill and Loretta have a friendly conversation about “golf and grandchildren,” even though Ms. Lynch doesn’t have any grandchildren, and I don’t think she plays golf. Then Ms. Lynch announces that she agrees with and will accept the FBI Director’s recommendation and not pursue any charges against Hillary.

Let me repeat: what the hell is happening to our country? This reeking corruption is a direct consequence of electing a lawless, ineligible former “community organizer” on the record as finding our Constitution an annoying obstacle to his grand plans to create a socialist utopia in his “remade” America.

Is it too late to get our country back? What will you do to make that happen over the next 15 days?

  1. I cannot imagine a worse candidate than Hillary Clinton. It’s almost like the Dems have tossed in the towel. The constant drip of scandal, incompetence, and Vodka induced health problems makes me wonder if Trump is actually being foisted on us. Why would the democrats put forth such a terrible candidate? I guess I shouldn’t look a gift horsein the mouth, right Carly?

    • I completely agree with you, Mensa. She is a terrible candidate for all the reasons that you state. “It’s my turn” is always a bad way to choose a candidate, isn’t it?

  2. It won’t, and imagine the enhanced opportunities to sell access and favors, over and above what she had as Sec. of State.

  3. That’s right, Jim. We must do all we can to keep the most corrupt, dishonest politician in American history from being elected president.
