Compassionate Left, Part 7,387: Professor Goes Nuts Over Muslim Trump Voter

Maybe I should say that this Georgetown professor is MORE nuts than usual.

From The Daily Caller:

Georgetown University associate professor had a month-long meltdown after a Muslim woman explained why she voted for President-elect Donald Trump.

Asra Q. Nomani, a former Georgetown journalism professor and Wall Street Journal reporter, wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post Nov. 10 explaining why she, as a Muslim woman and “long-time liberal,” voted for Trump. “I support the Democratic Party’s position on abortion, same-sex marriage and climate change,” Nomani wrote. “But I am a single mother who can’t afford health insurance under Obamacare.”

Ruh-roh. That isn’t going to sit well with some of her colleagues. For example, the unfortunately named C. Christine Fair, a professor of Peace and Security Studies (you can’t make this stuff up, seriously).

Prof. Fair, referred to her colleague as a “wretch,”  a “clueless dolt,” a “fame-mongering clown show” and a “fraud.” She also accused her of helping to “normalize Nazis in DC.”

It all started on Twitter.

Then as if that wasn’t enough, Prof. Fair, a self-proclaimed “slut,” went completely round the bend, posting an open letter to Prof. Nomani on December 6, in which she told her to “F**K off” and “Go to hell.”

What is Georgetown University doing about Prof. Fair’s unhinged behavior? So far not much, although Prof. Nomani’s formal complaint was not filed until 12/23.

In addition to her propensity for lashing out on Twitter and Facebook, Prof. Fair has a presence on YouTube, as the Daily Caller story notes:

Fair’s personal website says “she can cause trouble in multiple languages,” and her YouTube features videos like “Introducing the Pussy Avenger” and “Tales of My Pussy.”

Other notable commentary on Fair’s public Facebook includes calling future first lady Melania Trump a “soft porn star,” lamenting that “gun nuts don’t shoot each other,” and supporting Black Lives Matter.

She occasionally breaks up the politically charged musings with posts about cute animals.

Parents, are you paying thousands of dollars a year so your little darling can be “educated” by someone like Prof. Fair?
