R.I.P. Judge Bork

He was a U.S. Marine, and a brilliant legal mind. When I heard that he had passed today, I was very sad, but also grateful that we were lucky enough to have his scary smart writing and analysis. In 1987, he was one of the very first people to experience what the Left has now honed into one of its preferred weapons, character assassination and lies to advance its heinous agenda. It enrages me to think about a reprobate like Ted Kennedy demonizing this exceptional man on the Senate floor. He bore it with grace and dignity.

If you haven’t read Slouching to Gomorrah and The Tempting of America, you have missed out on the most insightful, intelligent analysis of our Constitution available anywhere. I’ll bet it’s even better than what they got in that adjunct lecturer Barack Obama’s Con Law class.

Rest in peace, Robert Bork, and thanks for being a tireless defender of our Constitution.
