What is Prime Day?
It started in 2015 as a way to celebrate Amazon’s 20th anniversary as a company and has gotten better every year.
When is Prime Day 2018?
Prime Day 2018 will begin at 3 p.m. ET on Monday, July 16 (Yes, TODAY!) and will run through Tuesday, July 17.
What kinds of deals are there?
Amazon always has all different types of deals, and frankly, it can be confusing to keep track of all of what they have going on, but as I stated earlier, it’s well worth it.
Every day, Amazon hosts a variety of deals under the “Today’s Deals” tab on its site, including the following:
- Deals of the Day: Last 24 hours.
- Lightning Deals: Last a few hours, while supplies last.
- Savings and Sales: Ongoing deals on select items or brands.
- Coupons: Must be “clipped” in order for the discount to apply at checkout.
- Prime Early Access Deals: Exclusive to Prime members, Lightning Deals that are available 30 minutes before they officially go live.
With the exception of Prime Early Access Deals, all these deals can usually be accessed by the public. During Amazon’s annual sales event, Prime Day, however, all Lightning Deals can only be accessed by Prime members.
While you’re there check out the “INTERESTING FINDS UPDATED DAILY,” for unusual and interesting products. GREAT for gifts!
