Ah. More diversity in the heartland of America! Ain’t it grand? Is it still ok if I don’t wear a hijab?
From the Columbia (MO) Daily Tribune:
Columbia police on Wednesday arrested a 53-year-old man who allegedly pulled a teenage family member out of Hickman High School by her hair and slapped her.
Police re-sponded at 3 p.m. Tuesday to the school, 1104 N. Providence Road, for a child abuse call, Officer Latisha Stroer said in an email. Youssif Z. Omar was at the school and noticed a 14-year-old female family member was not wearing a hijab, a traditional headscarf that some Muslim women wear. Omar became irate, Stroer said, grabbed the girl “very violently by the hair” and pulled her outside and down a flight of stairs. (emphasis mine)
More from the Daily Mail:
Omar’s LinkedIn page lists him as being an assistant professor at the University of Missouri, Columbia and manager of Artifacts Journal at the University bookstore.
His Facebook page says he’s married and originally from Benghazi, Libya. His LinkedIn profile says he was the head of the English department at the University of Benghazi Wahat Branch from 2003-2007. (emphasis mine)
Shouldn’t that be “WHAAAAT? Branch of the University of Benghazi? That Benghazi?
This guy is just a “relative,” not even her father.
I wonder if this guy is one of those noble refugees fleeing famine and war, or just a garden-variety visa overstay. …I also wonder what he was doing “at the school.” Setting up “Pretend to be a Muslim” Week, perhaps, where all the little girls learn how much fun it is to wear a hijab? That would be more ironic than Obama’s calling ISIS “contained” the day before their murderous Paris attack.
I guess we can look forward to more of these incidents as we import more Muslims into the middle of the country. You can see why Barack Obama has a soft spot in his heart for Islam now, can’t you? Hope and change continues.
