Labor Participation: Men in Prime of Life Sitting on the Sidelines, Not Working

Welcome to Obama’s America: where the Regime imports Third World “refugees” who sponge off taxpayers and American men are kicked to the curb.

And who says so? The White House.

From The Wall Street Journal:

Why aren’t men in the prime of their lives working more?

Working-age males have been sitting on the sidelines in greater numbers for decades, a trend that accelerated during the latest recession and has broad implications for individual well-being as well as the overall economy.

new White House study highlights the sharpest decline among men with lower levels of educational attainment and concludes much of the cause is a loss of economic opportunity for those would-be workers.

“No single factor can fully explain this decline, but analysis suggests that a reduction in the demand for less skilled labor has been a key cause of declining participation rates as well as lower wages for less skilled workers,” the Council of Economic Advisers said in the report.

And here’s an interesting nugget from the While House report: “participation rates have declined more steeply for black men.”

Today Hillary Clinton will make a speech on economic policy. Since she represents a 3rd term of Barack Obama, and a continuation of the policies that have resulted this result, as reported in Real Clear Markets:

No matter what revisions are subsequently made, 2015 will have been the tenth year in a row that RGDP growth came in at under 3.0%. The longest previous such run in U.S. economic history was only four years, and the last time that this happened was during the Great Depression (1930 – 1933).

Will she attempt to defend the high-tax, crushing regulation routine that has put us in this mess, or will she simply demonize Donald Trump? Will she promise freeloaders more free stuff, promising to pay for it by stealing from the productive? The answers are obvious.

Hillary wants to continue to grow the government, NOT the economy, which is what we’ve seen the last 7+ years. It’s got to stop, and stop ASAP.
