Somali Muslims Win Lawsuit Lottery, Courtesy of U.S. Government

Obama’s America, or another chapter in “How a Nation Commits Suicide.” Somali Muslims score big thanks to EEOC!

From The Washington Examiner:

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission won $240,000 in damages for two Muslim truck drivers after it sued their former employer for religious discrimination for firing the drivers for refusing to make beer deliveries.

The EEOC said that Star Transport Inc., a trucking company based in Morton, Ill., violated their religious rights by refusing to accommodate their objections to delivering alcoholic beverages.

“EEOC is proud to support the rights of workers to equal treatment in the workplace without having to sacrifice their religious beliefs or practices,” EEOC General Counsel David Lopez announced Thursday. “This is fundamental to the American principles of religious freedom and tolerance.”

Our government argued that Star Transport could have reassigned these drivers, but refused. I guess that’s one way to look at it. Another, one that probably makes sense only to those not yet infected with East Coast Brain Rot, and certainly not to the leftist apparatchiks who have been working 24/7 for the last years to implement the One’s “remaking of America, is that if you don’t want to deliver what might be on trucks you don’t go to work as a delivery truck driver.

Of course, if Star Transport had refused to hire these two, fearing objections like this and disruption of its business, Obama’s EEOC would have been all over them like white on rice for discrimination in hiring.

I think we need more information about how this litigation got started. No doubt these two mopes heard about their ability to get a very sympathetic Obama EEOC to help them hit the jackpot from one of the Islamist front groups like CAIR, the Council for American Islamic Relations, or the very helpful resettlement agencies working to “seed” our country with these folks that we’ve been talking about for the last several months here, here and here.

As is often the case, the best part of the story is at the end, where one of the plaintiffs, Abdkiarim Hassan Bulshale says, “”This case makes me proud to be American.”

That makes one of us, Mr. Bulshale. Suddenly I’m living in a country where there is a war on law enforcement, a war on Christianity, and a war on business, all from our own government. It’s definitely not the country I grew up in, thanks to the Left.

Let me ask again: are you fed up yet?
