Obama Regime: It’s Racist to Not Rent to Criminals

Where are criminals, who apparently are often black, supposed to live, Bitter Clinger?

Let me remind you again, Obama voter, this is exactly what you voted for, and, based on Obama’s record, it was completely foreseeable.

From The Daily Caller:

The Obama administration released a warning Monday telling the nation’s landlords that it may be discriminatory for them to refuse to rent to those with criminal records.

The Fair Housing Act doesn’t include criminals as a protected class, but the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) says refusing to rent based on a criminal record is a form of racial discrimination, due to racial imbalances in the U.S. justice system.

“The Fair Housing Act prohibits both intentional housing discrimination and housing practices that have an unjustified discriminatory effect because of race, national origin, or other protected characteristics,” say HUD’s newly-released guidelines. “Because of widespread racial and ethnic disparities in the U.S. criminal justice system, criminal history-based restrictions on access to housing are likely disproportionately to burden African-Americans and Hispanics. While the Act does not prohibit housing providers from appropriately considering criminal history information when making housing decisions, arbitrary and overbroad criminal history-related bans are likely to lack a legally sufficient justification.”

Gee, who would have ever imagined that a man OBSESSED with the idea that America can never overcome its hideous racist heritage would implement all this “disproportionate impact” BS if given the opportunity? Who could imagine that a guy who became a Christian, allegedly, in the Church of the Black Panther run by Rev. Jeremiah “Goddamn America” Wright would enact rules designed to punish “white folks”? Who would ever think that a guy married to woman who wrote a college thesis about racism, in which she vowed to use her Ivy League education to benefit black people would see EVERYTHING through the prism of race?  Uh, anyone with who could rub two functioning brain cells together?  Yes. Did you vote for Barack Obama? Is this what you thought you were voting for? It is what you voted for, and, as I’ve illustrated,  it wasn’t a mystery. Obama spelled it out in the book that Bill Ayers wrote from the shoe box full of notes that Obama gave him, Dreams from My Father. What’s the subtitle of that masterpiece? “A Story of Race and Inheritance,” remember?

Let me take the opportunity to say it again: thanks, low-information dolts who voted for this clown.

  1. Man are you racists dumb!

I mean it’s pretty common knowledge that blacks are incarcerated at higher rates for crimes than whites even if they both commit the same crime in the same circumstances. You can see this disparity most noticeably in drug convictions. Although whites use illicit substances at a much higher rate than blacks since these substances are less trafficked such as hallucinogens or painkillers they are not convicted at even half the rates of blacks. A lot of this is due to the fact blacks tend to live in more highly policed areas and often can’t afford the same legal defense a white person could. Blacks plead guilty more often than whites even if they didn’t commit the crime because the probability of loosing the case solely because of a poor public defender and getting the more severe sentence coerces them.

This law makes a lot of sense when you consider that having a place of residence greatly reduces criminal recidivism. You’re other option is having ex-cons who want to reform live on the streets and being driven back into crime to survive.

    Obama is right.

Barry has the perfect opportunity to even some of that imbalance by tossing a white woman in Jail. I doubt he will though, he is more focused on the inequity of perpetrators who are caught being are ‘people of color’. A white person who would make that statement would be called racist, a black person cannot be racist because they have no power to be racist. Unless you are the president of the United States, or something like that.

    • Questionman,
I think that you could give all of us dumb racists lessons in being dumb. This is not a law, at least not yet anyway. This is just another attempt by this administration to circumvent the messy inconvenience of actually getting a law passed by using federal regulations to promote the progressive agenda. I predict that this attempt will be just as successful as all the rest of the programs this administration has tried to implement, in short, not very.
