Once Again, Thomas Sowell Was So Right, Part 1

In one of his most brilliant observations, the always brilliant Dr. Thomas Sowell wrote

One of the highly developed talents of President Barack Obama is the ability to say things that are demonstrably false, and make them sound not only plausible but inspiring.

I’m sure that you can cite your favorite examples of this gift, and there were many in last night’s acceptance speech from the One. Here’s one I enjoyed

You might not be ready for diplomacy with Beijing if you can’t visit the Olympics without insulting our closest ally.

Right. I completely agree. The guy whose repellant wife manhandled the Queen and who gave the Prime Minister DVDs that wouldn’t work in Great Britain, and who in yet another do-over, had to admit that he had returned the bust of Churchill that George W. Bush proudly displayed, is not ready for prime time. Of course, Barack Hussein Obama was referring to Gov. Mitt Romney, which is why this statement is yet another example of the dishonesty of this man, and his repeatedly and brazenly insulting our intelligence.
