It breaks my heart to see the photos of these precious pets. Their owners and all those who suffered in yesterday’s unbelievably damaging tornado are in my prayers. This horrible tragedy is a reminder to (1) make sure you have current photos of your pets in case you need to try to find them, and (2) hug them, pet them and enjoy their very special unconditional love every single day. I have to go do that second one right now. Here’s why:

Breaking: IRS’ Lois Lerner to Take the Fifth before House Tomorrow
From the Los Angeles Times:
A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups.
Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd.
Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

Juan Williams sees the light. He writes on “Blacks, Guns, and Crime.”
In case you are unfamiliar with Juan Williams, he used to be on NPR, the liberal radio network and they fired him over a politically-incorrect comment he made. He is now on the ”fair and balanced” Fox News Network, to provide the side a liberal point of view. There is a great deal of truth in this email. Mr. Williams deserves credit for even mentioning it. Among the statistics he cites are that 54% of all murders involve black victims, virtually all of whom were probably killed by black murderers, and yet blacks comprise only 13% of the population.
Among the reasons he cites for these disproportionate numbers are the high rates of illegitimate births in the black community, and the rap “gangsta” culture, which our Dear Reader has embraced, even hosting several rappers who have profited handsomely from promoting a culture of drugs and violence.

Low Information Corner: Majority Would Commit “Netflix Adultery”
I was planning to initiate a new feature on The Teri O’Brien Show yesterday, but we were so loaded with actual information that I didn’t have time to do it. I was thinking of calling it “The Stupidest Story of the Week,” or “Dumb and Dumber,” but you get the idea. The focus would be the sort of stories that shows that ABC’s “Good Morning America,” and similar dangerous (dangerous because they allow lo-fos to think that they actually know what’s going on) over-the-air, last-century outlets highlight. Here’s this last week’s from yesterday’s stack, “51% Would Commit Netflix Adultery, Survey Says.”
There’s nothing like a riveting cliffhanger to leave you wanting more.
And when you’ve got the next episode right at your fingertips, watching it right away can be very tempting.
Doing just that without waiting for your significant other is a new form of cheating dubbed by New York Magazine as Netflix Adultery. And in a recent survey conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Netflix, 51% of those in a relationship would “cheat” on their spouse/partner/significant other by streaming a TV program that was intended to be watched together.
Sneaky.
This was big news on all the afore-mentioned low-information sources of “news.” And we wonder why people think Benghazi is the hot new restaurant Barack and Mooch visited on their last date night?

We’ve gone from “We are the ones we were waiting for,” to “Hope and Change,” to “The Law is Irrelevant.” Given their many gangsta actions, which we have chronicled over the last 4 1/2 years, it’s not as if it’s a news bulletin that they believe that, given their many lawless actions. Still, it was very jarring to hear him admit it.
Eric Holder tells House Judiciary Committee that he doesn’t remember when he recused himself, but he does know that he didn’t do it in writing.
White House Flak Dan Pfeiffer makes a complete fool of himself as this week’s White House Mouthpiece of the week, announcing the Obama administration’s new slogan, “the law is irrevelant.” We also heard him tell Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace that it’s irrelevant where Obama was when 4 Americans were being murdered in Benghazi on 9/11/12.
