Police Seek Man Who Recorded Girl in Target Changing Room

Ruh roh. I don’t think stories like this one will help stop the plunge in Target stock. News flash: Men in the women’s changing room is bad for business.

Target

From The Dallas Morning News, May 4, 2016:

Frisco police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man who recorded a girl in the changing room at a Super Target.

Police said the girl was in the women’s changing room at the store at 3201 Preston Road about 7 p.m. Tuesday when she saw a man peering over the wall with a cellphone pointed at her.

The girl told her parents and Target employees, but the man had already left the store.

The peeper was described as a thin white man, about 5-11 with dark hair. He was wearing a red T-shirt, blue jeans and a dark baseball cap.

According to Breitbart, this pervert is still at large.

MMM… my inner lawyer wonders about potential liability resulting from Target management’s desire to prove how “progressive” and “inclusive” they are by crowing about men being allowed to enter restrooms and changing rooms in their stores that have been designated for women and girls. Consider this hypothetical (wow–just like law school!): a degenerate waits in a bathroom stall in a Target store, then grabs, abducts and sexually assaults a little girl. Lawsuit anyone?

And, as investorplace.com reports, the stock is already down 6.5% since it made its grand announcement on 4/19. They also note:

Coincidence? I wouldn’t be too sure. First, there were no significant news items that would explain the sudden bearishness in TGT stock. Further, the announcement day also coincided with the company’s all-time closing high. The last time Target stock was this elevated was in July of last year.

The negative impact isn’t just limited to angry evangelicals. According to marketing intelligence firm YouGov BrandIndex, the number of people that would consider TGT for their department store shopping needs fell from 42% to 38%. The study further indicated that a growing number of shoppers — especially women — heard negative comments about the company. Interestingly, brand perception of TGT is down to its lowest level in eight months.

I decided that I would not go to Target anymore. I can’t risk what might happen if I need to use the restroom. Seeing some guy’s junk in the women’s bathroom could really put a crimp in my day.

Please spare me any self-righteous comments explaining the Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner isn’t going to molest anyone. That’s not who we’re concerned about. It’s guys like this clown in Frisco, Texas, exploiting a well-intentioned policy to do their dirty deeds. It’s like the jihadists who exploit the “refugee” resettlement policies in Western countries to infiltrate these societies where they can commit murder and mayhem.

Sorry, my “progressive” friends. You really missed the target this time.
