Put a Sock in It, Lady. Department of Justice Attorney : Racist Amerika’s History Caused Ferguson Riots

vanita-gupta-300x203Vanita Gupta, formerly of the ACLU, now a Department of Justice Deputy Assistant Attorney General blames Jim Crow and slavery for riots in Ferguson.

Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Vanita Gupta spoke to  Colorado Lawyers Committee today, and took the opportunity to share her brilliant insights about what might inspire people to burn down their own neighborhoods and destroy businesses in their communities. From Atlanta Blackstar:

She admitted that while law enforcement is a profession that calls for bravery and great integrity, tragedy falls on an entire community when that profession becomes tarnished with senseless violence and racial bias.
But Gupta took the discussion a bit further.
Many have discussed the way poverty and poor education have helped turn cities like Ferguson and Baltimore into “powder kegs,” but Gupta cited the true origins of such problems as something that goes beyond the days of a Great Recession, a housing market crash or discriminatory bank loans.
“Mistrust can’t be explained away as the kneejerk reaction of the ill-informed or the hyperbolic,” she said. “It’s, in part, the product of historical awareness about the role that police have played in enforcing and perpetuating slavery, the Black Codes, lynchings and Jim Crow segregation. As FBI Director James Comey noted, ‘At many points in American history, law enforcement enforced the status quo, a status quo that was often brutally unfair to disfavored groups.’ “

Right. I’m sure that those mobs of rampaging savages throwing rocks, smashing windows and otherwise demonstrating their complete lack of good manners, common decency or empathy for others, they were thinking “I’ll show those police who enforced those Black Codes 100 years ago! Take that, you racist bastards who are long dead but not forgotten!”

Is this woman retarded? No, she suffers from the same psychosis as Eric Holder, and, yes, his successor, Loretta Lynch. You didn’t think things would be any different under Ms. Lynch, did you? I didn’t think so.

Indeed, black lives matter, but sadly most of the crime against blacks is committed by other blacks. Do police officers lives matter? I ask because today Kerrie Orozco. a 29-year old police officer in Omaha, NE, was killed by a convicted felon and gang member, Marcus Wheeler, who was also killed.

So far, we haven’t heard from Al Sharpton, anyone from the Department of Justice, or Barack Obama about the murder of Officer Orozco. Not holding my breath.
