Question for “No Strategy” Obama: How Many Americans Must ISIS Kill Before You Notice?

ISIS just beheaded another American.

Mr. President, I know that you don’t want to put the cart before the horse, but now that the “JV” has beheaded a second American, isn’t it time to come up with a strategy for dealing with ISIS, especially since you have been on notice for over a year that this outfit was a serious threat?

From Fox Nation:

A former Pentagon official confirms to Fox News that detailed and specific intelligence about the rise of ISIS was included in the PDB, or the President’s Daily Brief, for at least a year before the group took large swaths of territory beginning in June.

The official, who asked not to be identified because the PDB is considered the most authoritative, classified intelligence community product providing the President with analysis of sensitive international events, said the data was strong, and “granular” in detail, adding a policy maker “…could not come away with any other impression: This is getting bad.”

Say what? Where is Richard Ben Veniste when we need him? Mr. Ben Veniste, so eager to suggest that President George W. Bush should have anticipated the 9/11 attacks based on an August 6, 2001 Presidential Daily Brief, apparently never got the memo about the 1998 PDB delivered to Bill Clinton that specifically mentioned that Osama bin Laden wanted to hijack planes to attack the U.S., something that wasn’t in the PDB he so excitedly cited. From the Washington Post:

A secret intelligence document prepared for President Bill Clinton in December 1998 reported on a suspected plot by Osama bin Laden to hijack a U.S. airliner in an effort to force the United States to release imprisoned conspirators in the 1993 World Trade Center attacks.
