From the essential Illinois Review, a flashback to the time when the contemptible pudgy huckster (H/T to the late Steve Neal, the Chicago Sun-Times veteran political reporter who came up with this perfect moniker), Dick “Eddie Haskell” Durbin was fighting to foist Obama’s heinous health care scheme on us, and as IR says “blasted” Republicans for criticizing government-run health care.
Check out the issues he cites in the health care system, pre-Obamacare. Denials of care, restrictions on providers that are out of network, unaffordable costs. Those were the problems that the (Un)Affordable Care Act was supposed to address. Ask yourself: has it made this things better or worse?
This speech from one of the One’s favorite cheerleaders makes the obvious even more clear; specifically, that even though the Obama Regime was informed of the problems with the VA, which had existed for at least a decade, and even though he promised to fix them once and for all, they didn’t want to open that can of worms, fearing that people might connect the dots between this government run plan and the one proposed for all of us.
Both Obama and Durbin are sleazy liars from the stinking slime pit of corruption that is a formerly great state.
