Obamacare, President Payback’s Revenge on Racist Amerika:Today On The Teri O’Brien Show, 3-30-14

LISTEN LIVE HERE, 5-7 PM EASTERN, SUNDAY 3-30-14.

Tomorrow is the “deadline” for us serfs to submit ourselves to Barack Obama’s massive income redistribution scheme, the Orwellian named “Affordable Care Act, which, of course, is not affordable for the vast majority of Americans and has nothing to do with improving their health care.

sheep

If you don’t have health insurance, you MUST sign up for health insurance by tomorrow. No, not really. His Highness King Barack says you can take advantage of the “extended enrollment period,” if you say it was too hard to sign up, even though you tried, based on the honor system.

Obamacare is designed to address a problem that most Americans didn’t think existed; specifically, the “unfairness” that resulted from the fact that some people made bad lifestyle choices. How mean and unfair was it that people who finished school, waited until they were married to have children, and lived the traditional “Leave it to Beaver” life in their “cushy” suburbs got health insurance at their jobs as part of their compensation? Think about it: the unmedicated mental patient, released at the insistence of the ACLU, swearing under his breath as he pushes his shopping cart, his stench signaling his arrival, didn’t have health insurance. Neither did the serial baby mama and her various sperm donors. Thanks to our Dear Reader, that unfairness is being fixed. Everyone, except of course, the Regime and their cronies, who will continue to receive the absolute finest and most costly of everything, including medical care.

The Lame Stream Media has a self-imposed gag order on discussing the Obamacare debacle, including the many lawless unilateral nullifications of the One’s “signature” achievement, preferring to discuss Chris Christie, the missing Malaysian plane, and the upcoming baseball season, anything to avoid the ACA train wreck. They certainly aren’t asking whether Justice Elena Kagan embarrassed herself during last week’s Hobby Lobby argument, by revealing that she hasn’t read the law. We will.

They are also avoiding any discussion of the information revealed last week by Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), which contains the jaw-droppingly disturbing truth about Barack Obama as the “deporter in chief.” Actually, he has unilaterally nullified our immigration laws with his infamous pen, resulting in de facto amnesty for millions. Si se puede, Bitter Clinger!

Gender Neutral Snow Removal and Other Cultural Marxist Idiocy, Today On The Teri O’Brien Show, 1-12-14

IWasaTeenageFeminist

During one of my first host appearances on Chicago’s radio home for Rush Limbaugh, after which I would enjoy several years of terrestrial radio fun there, I expressed my disgust over the fact that feminists had sold young women a bill of goods. Misery loves company, after all, and this bitter, unattractive bunch, with their institutional-style haircuts and their sensible shoes wanted to make sure if they couldn’t get a date, none of us could. The ultimate gulag for women, they explained, was “patriarchy” as embodied by traditional marriage. Many young women dallied with this foolishness during their early twenties, but most outgrew it by graduation. Sadly, many of those who did not found themselves unhappy, lonely and confused as they approached age 40, despite their outward “success.”

feminists

Today’s guest, Chicago writer and school psychologist Bernard Chapin has addressed about the havoc the feminists have wreaked on society, both in his book, Women: Theory and Practice, and at his YouTube channel, Chapin’s Inferno.

Is there any truth to the rumor that New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman, a veteran of Clinton’s Department of Justice and an Obama appointee, is considering a criminal investigation of yet another Chris Christie bullying incident, this one involving an incident in 1968 during a first-grade recess? Is there any chance that the vigilant seekers of truth who pretend to be “journalists” might take a 30 second break from talking about Chris Christie’s horrific bridge lane closure “scandal” to find out where Barack Obama was while 4 Americans were being murdered in Benghazi on September 11, 2012? If there’s any time left, perhaps they could find out why Hillary Clinton sent the late Ambassador Stevens to Benghazi in the first place. I guess, as it turns out, at least the legacy media, it doesn’t make any difference at this point. She must be laughing her ample rear end off at this turn of events, no?

Zimmerman Verdict Gives Opportunity for Usual Suspects to Display True Colors-Today on The Teri O’Brien Show-7-14-13

Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman Zimmerman in Crosshairs

In addition to restoring faith in our justice system, George Zimmerman’s acquittal provided an opportunity for everyone to show us who they really are; specifically,

  • Race hustlers, hypocrites who are outraged and horrified when a black “child” is killed by a “white Hispanic,” but are perfectly comfortable with the hundreds of black teenagers shot dead on a regular basis in Barack Obama’s Chicago;
  • Moronic celebutards who took to the favorite communication tool of Beliebers, Twitter, to demonstrate their jaw-dropping ignorance;
  • Lame Stream Media Liberal “Journalists,” who lamented the absence of blacks on the Zimmerman jury, even though a jury of the defendant’s peers would have consisted of those exotic “white Hispanics;”
  • Outright Idiots who probably can’t read or write cursive, and whose knowledge base begins and ends with the latest pop culture “star,” enjoying his or her 15 minutes of fame.

The actual takeaway of this criminal case, which held the nation spellbound, was spoken clearly by Aristotle back around 300 B.C. “The law is reason free from passion,” which is another way of saying that no good results when the equivalent of a lynch mob, fueled by race baiters like Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, and even sadly, Barack Obama, who also showed us again who he is, a narcissistic embarrassment, an self-absorbed empty suit who conned his way into office by surfing a wave of white guilt and media deification, demands that an innocent man be charged with murder for the crime of self-defense.

Andrew Branca did amazing, wall to wall coverage of the Zimmerman trial over at Legal Insurrection, and he’ll be our guest today to give us his reaction to the verdict, and also share some thoughts about the message that law-abiding citizens should take from this case. He has written the book on that, The Law of Self-Defense.

We’ll also hear from Taleeb Starkes, who very provocatively predicted in this post, “Creepy A** Crackers” Should Prepare for Negro-geddon, that we would see riots if Mr. Zimmerman were not sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. Was he wrong about that, or are we just waiting for other shoe to drop?

Titans of the race industry like the NAACP’s Ben Jealous and the ever-present Al Sharpton say that this verdict does not mean that this issue is over. I agree, but not necessarily for the reasons they state. Why, even as the media goes wall-to-wall on post-verdict coverage, is almost no one reporting on the firing of a whistleblower who reported serious misconduct on the part of the prosecution? Did Angela Corey, appointed by Gov. Rick Scott, to appease the mob withhold exculpatory evidence from the Zimmerman defense?

Was Bystander-in-Chief’s Dithering “Decision” to Jump Into Syrian Mess Another Shiny Object?

Remember the swooning and slobbering that we endured after Barack Obama’s Cairo speech in 2009? Back then, the brilliant pundits predicted a beautiful new era of peace, love and understanding in the centuries-old powder keg that is the Middle East, simply because of the majestic and healing presence of the magnificent new president. Flash forward to today, and face the ugly, and very obviously predictable, reality of that region: the Muslim Brotherhood large and in charge in Egypt, Libya so dangerous that after our ambassador and three other Americans were murdered there last year, the FBI had to wait 2 weeks to investigate, and Syria exploding, with Iran and Russia turning the tide in favor of Bashar Assad. It has been nearly two years since Barack Obama stated “Assad must go!” Apparently, the Syrian dictator and the game-changing allies who are helping him win didn’t get that memo. They appear to be immune to Barack’s alleged irresistible charm and persuasion. After dithering for nearly two years, and probably egged on by Bill Clinton’s calling him a wuss, our Dear Reader finally acted decisively, sort of. He demonstrated courageous leadership by striding to the podium to announce that Assad’s actions will not stand! Not really. Actually, he sent some guy named  Ben Rhodes out to make the announcement. Ben Rhodes? Who is he? Are you freakin’ kidding me? I half expected a reporter to ask him a question and have him reply “I don’t actually work here, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.” It would have been like George W. Bush sending Barney’s dog walker out to announce the beginning of the liberation of Iraq. Was this somewhat ill-formed new policy announced to divert attention from Barack and Michelle’s latest effort to enjoy their well-deserved reparations, a little excursion to Ireland, followed by a $100 million trip to Africa on our dime?

In other profiles in courage, listeners to last week’s show were the first to hear about Sen. Marco Rubio’s Eddie Haskell moment, in which he appeared to do a 180 on the issue of border security. We’re being told that he is walking that back, but if that’s true, why did he vote against the Grassley Amendment? We’re also being told that Sen. Cornyn’s border security amendment to the Gang of 8 proposal will make everything all right, although some criticized it as simply a way to give Republicans political cover to vote for amnesty. Is it that bad, or is it actually wors

In another example of events that are both hilarious and depressing at the same time, FBI director Robert Mueller appeared before the House Judiciary Committee. You will not believe the ridiculous answers that he gave to questions from Rep. Jim Jordan, Rep. Troy Gowdy, and Rep. Louie Gohmert. Who is Abdurahman Alamoudi and what connection did he have to the Boston bombing, one that seemed to have eluded the FBI until after the fact? What is the FBI’s Operations Review Committee, and what role did CAIR (the Council for American-Islamic Relations) and the ACLU have in creating it to ensure that mosques were exempt from any anti-terrorism surveillance?

On this Father’s Day, author Taleeb Starkes will join us to talk about what he describes as the dysfunctional and criminal subculture in the black community. Is he correct? If so, how does the high rate of illegitimacy in the black community contribute to the existence of this subculture?

Tune in today for the rest of the story.

Emma Has Two Mommies, and a Daddy Who is FABULOUS!!!

When I Saw This Headline, “Florida judge approves birth certificate listing three parents,” I thought “Frank Marshall Davis, Barack Obama, Sr. and Stanley Anne Dunham?” But no, it’s actually about a lesbian and her homosexual male hairdresser, who hatch a brilliant plan to make a baby for her to raise with her “partner.” You know the story. A gay guy, and two lesbians find an innovative use for a turkey baster, and hilarity ensues. Oh wait …that’s in the sitcom version. In real life, it turns into a bonanza for the lawyers. From Reuters:

A Florida judge has approved the adoption of a 22-month-old baby girl that will list three people as parents on her birth certificate — a married lesbian couple and a gay man.

The decision ends a two-year paternity fight between the couple and a friend of the women who donated his sperm to father the child but later sought a larger role in the girl’s life.

The ruling means the child’s birth certificate will include a biological father and both women as parents in an unusual arrangement approved recently by a Miami-Dade Circuit Court judge.

Maria Italiano, Cher Filippazzo , Massimiliano Gerina? Weren’t these people all characters on “The Jersey Shore?”

They say that after this two year legal battle, everyone has made nice and is prepared to enjoy birthdays and Thanksgiving together. Thanksgiving? I hope that they buy a brand new turkey baster before preparing that meal.

Why We Lost: In a Word, Timidity

I was right about one thing. It was over by 11 p.m. Central. Unfortunately, I was wrong about Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and Colorado. I was really, really wrong, and I was very surprised. It was more 2004 than 1980. Like you, I am disappointed, however, I am not one to dwell on disappointments. After all, life is full of disappointments, and given that the human mind can focus on only on thing at a time, if we ruminate about events that have happened, and that we have no power to change, we waste time and mental energy that we could use to do something constructive. What is constructive in the face of bad outcomes is to learn from them. So what have we learned? Why did Mitt Romney lose? In a word, timidity.

Mitt Romney is not, and never was, a conservative. Be honest. We all knew that. That’s why he wasn’t our first choice during the primaries. Up until that first debate, our support was anti-Obama, not pro-Romney. We all figured he was a much better choice than the current occupant of the Oval Office, and that once he was ensconced in office, we’d ride herd on him to make sure that he wouldn’t backslide into “moderation.” Mitt tried to play the role, but we should have known when he told that CPAC audience that he was a “severely conservative” governor, that, for him,  conservatism was a second language. No true believer would have ever said that. Mitt Romney is a pragmatic, businessman, a problem solver, but not an ideological conservative. He is that dreaded “Massachusetts moderate” that we feared. He had a genuine conservative on the team, Paul Ryan, but the Romney campaign muzzled him because they feared opening a can of worms on the issue of Medicare.

I think that their lack of ideological commitment is one reason that the Romney campaign allowed the demagogic attacks about Bain Capital over the summer to go on. Mitt underestimated the effectiveness of the class-envy card because he doesn’t understand the Left the way authentic conservatives do. It’s also why they didn’t paint a picture for the voters. The average voter, and not just the typical Obama low-information type, doesn’t understand what Bain Capital does, and how what it does creates jobs. It was incumbent on Gov. Romney to explain that. He didn’t.

Perhaps we can trace the loss to that third debate. Remember how we all were waiting for Mitt to take it to the One on his Benghazi coverup? It never happened. Why? I believe because he feared the inevitable bleating from the Lame Stream Media, accusing him of “politicizing” the murders that Obama’s failed policies caused. It’s easy to blame the Jurassic media. Yes, CBS facilitated the coverup by withholding part of the interview that Barack Obama did the day after the attack on the consulate, and yes, Candy Crowley gave her guy cover behind her ample skirts in the second debate, but those things were to be expected. Like those hard-working illegal aliens that many moderate Republicans want to give amnesty, it’s up to the GOP to do the work that the LSM won’t do; specifically, to make sure the people have the truth. His failure to do so on Libya, no doubt fearing antagonizing those precious “independents” and “suburban women” was fatal.

In his concession speech early this morning, Mitt said he put it all on the field. I’m sure he believes that, but in retrospect, it’s clear that that isn’t true. When Republicans are timid, they lose every time. When they articulate a clear conservative vision, they win. Ted Cruz won. Michele Bachman won. It can be done, but you can’t steal home with one foot on third base. Better to lose being bold than to lose with a craven campaign, walking on eggs and hoping people will figure out the reason they should vote for you.

I hope that we’ve learned once and for all that we shouldn’t nominate any more moderates, especially those from Massachusetts. Timidity is a non-starter, and always will be, in politics and in life in general.

More taxes, more debt, means more of the same. So it’s a sad day for our country, and a great day for Putin, the Iranians, those who want something from Obama’s stash, and fans of big government, but it is only one day.  Still, as we always have, we will persevere.
