Do You Suppose That This Guy is an Obama Voter?

Is it just me, or does this guy look like the epitome of the Obama voter?

From The Smoking Gun:

Meet Corey Curtis.

The Wisconsin man, who has fathered nine children with six women, was ordered yesterday to cease procreating until he can support his numerous offspring.

At Curtis’s sentencing yesterday for bail jumping and failure to pay child support, Circuit Court Judge Tim Boyle told the 44-year-old Racine man that his frequent breeding was to be curbed as a condition of his three-year probation term.

According to the article, he owes about $90,000 in back child support.

I guess Sandra Fluke was right. We do need to get those contraceptives spread around STAT!

Other questions that occur to me: how many of his baby mommas are on food stamps and receive other government assistance? Do you suppose that they have cars, cell phones and flat screen tvs? Does he? Discuss among yourselves.

When it Comes to Women’s Rights, the Guy Barack Obama Supports Makes Todd Akin Look Like a Feminist

Do Sandra Fluke and Lena Dunham know about this?

As we discussed on yesterday’s show with our guest Daniel Greenfield of Sultan Knish, if you’re paying attention, you’ll notice a disturbing pattern in the way that the Obama administration deals with the turmoil in the Middle East. Bottom Line: The One sides with the Islamists. Consider Libya and Egypt. In both countries, the Obama administration kicked allies to the curb to help install Islamist regimes. Iran in June, 2009 was another story. In that case, Barack Obama didn’t want “to be seen as meddling” in another country’s affairs.

It’s indisputable that Obama is on the side of the Islamists. If his foreign policy decisions were not evidence enough, he wrote in his silly, boring, navel-gazing book, The Audacity of Hope, “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” I guess that the bright side is that, for once, he’s keeping a promise.

I picture B. Hussein watching Egyptian President, the Muslim Brotherhood’s own, Mohamed Morsi, deciding that he can dispense with the other two branches of government because he is effectively God, and thinking “That’s what I’m talking about!”

So, it’s no surprise that Barack is a Morsi fan, but I wonder if some of Barry’s biggest boosters, Lena Dunham and Sandra Fluke, and others of their ilk, know that their guy is supporting a regime that finds it intolerable to include a provision in its new constitution that prohibits child marriage and sex slavery. That’s Egypt today. From the British site, Inter Press Service:

An ultraconservative Salafi cleric recently sparked outrage among Egypt’s liberal circles when he attempted to justify his opposition to a proposed constitutional article that would outlaw the trafficking of women for sex.

Speaking on privately-owned Al-Nas satellite channel, Sheikh Mohamed Saad El-Azhary said he feared the proposed article could conflict with the local practice of child marriage. He explained that in Egypt, particularly in rural areas, there is a culture of marrying off girls as soon as they hit puberty.

“The important thing is that the girl is ready and can tolerate marriage,” El-Azhary declared.

He goes on to warn of just how far it could go if this radical, anti-child marriage provision is allowed to go forward.

He went on to protest proposed laws protecting women from violence, warning that if allowed to pass husbands could be prosecuted for beating their child brides or forcing themselves upon them.

“If you have intercourse with your wife against her will, she will be able to file a complaint against you,” he said. “That’s where things are headed.”

What’s next? Women driving? Leaving the house without the permission of a male relative? By the way, this guy is part of the group writing the new Egyptian constitution.

One of the great things about being a liberal is the ability to operate with a high degree of self-righteousness, free of any concern that the positions that you passionately defend are irreconcilably conflicting. You can be a feminist who wants freedom and choice for women, who should be seen as strong and independent, except that they expect someone else to pay for their contraceptives, and you can support a guy for president who endorses an Egyptian regime that doesn’t consider it a “legitimate rape” when a man forces himself on his wife.

No wonder liberalism is so popular among the intellectually lazy and/or challenged.

Stupid is as Stupid Does. Is it Time to Repeal the 19th Amendment? Today on the Teri O’Brien Show

Watching America’s first affirmative-action president invoke his daughters in support of a cynical political ploy designed to appeal to women not only depressed me. It reminded me that I am not entirely opposed to repealing the 19th amendment, or at least given some of the results of recent elections, I would be willing to consider it. Sandra Fluke’s arrival on the public stage is supposed to be all about gender equality and yet, for this phony controversy to benefit Obama, all the worst stereotypes about female voters have to be true; specifically that we are emotionally-driven, mentally-challenged airheads eagerly waiting to be led by a demagogue deceiving us about what’s really going on. Are women really so clueless, or even so stupid, that we will vote for more crushing debt on future generations, more crony capitalist spending and more government intrusion into every aspect of our lives, including the power of life and death over every citizen, because someone wouldn’t give Sandra Fluke and her friends free stuff? The democrats seem to think so, and some recent polls suggest that they may be right.

If contraception concerns aren’t sufficient to attract the ladies, perhaps a little Hollywood razzle dazzle will do the trick. Move over Michael Moore and Leni Riefensthal: an Academy-Award winning documentary winner does his part to re-elect the One, and even liberal media types wonder how he can keep a straight face while describing it.

Or perhaps “Mighty Michelle” will give the campaign a boost. She’ll be bowling for dollars this week, and since the Fluke episode has renewed calls for “civility,” perhaps she shouldn’t take her husband along, lest he mention Special Olympics.

Once Again, Obama Has His Priorities Straight

While most Americans live in sheer terror of having to fill their gas tanks, Iran moves steadily toward the creation of a nuclear weapon, and our troops are being killed in Afghanistan over the burning of previously-defaced Korans, the president proved again last week that he knows what’s important;specifically, issuing another in a seemingly never-ending series of apologies to our enemies, raising ridiculous amounts of money for his campaign, and finishing the hachet job he started in January with the very willing assistance of “objective journalist”/democrat flack George Stephanapolous, who raised the burning issue of “contraception” at a New Hampshire debate.

The Lame Stream Media continues to try to distract voters from the naked coercion in Obamacare with its silly narrative about the GOP’s “War on Women,” as demonstrated by Republicans’ desire to eliminate “access” to contraception. They hope to use Rush Limbaugh as the poster boy for that completely phony charge, especially in the eyes of emotionally-driven suburban soccer mommies, most of whom can’t name their congressmen, but who are horrified by the bombastic talk show host’s being so “mean” to a “courageous,” innocent young girl, only 23 years old! Or wait …30, and with a long history of left-wing political activism. Whatever. Clearly, when discussing this issue and sadly, many others, facts and details don’t matter. Now that Rush has issued an apology, will the democrats be satisfied, and, as they like to say “move on?” Not bloody likely.

We’ll also learn a little of the inside story of what might have led Rush to use such inflammatory language. It’s a dirty, little secret, but one well known in the world of terrestrial radio: outrageous words sell.

What Romney Needs to Say About Romneycare-Show Notes: 2-26-12

You need this book!

Any truth to the rumor that if the Oscars go over 3 hours, Obama is going to show up and personally apologize?

Nancy Pelosi was right: we had to pass the bill, Obamacare, to find out what was in the bill. Now that we are, we are discovering an endless supply of nasty little surprises, which result in higher costs, rationing of care and many good doctors leaving the profession. Our special guest Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute and author of the new book, Why Obamacare is Wrong for America, has been examining health care policy for over 15 years. She has some terrific advice for Mitt Romney. Let’s hope if he’s the nominee, he’ll take it. Listen to the interview to hear it. Ms. Turner’s appearance begins at ~40 minutes after the opening of the show. She makes clear that if we don’t treat Obamacare like one of those abortion survivors that B.Hussein was blithely willing to let die by defunding it and then repealing it, America as a free country is over. Note to John Boehner: remember what happened in 1996. Despite what we read in the revisionist history written by LSM, about Bill Clinton’s skillful defeat of Newt Gingrich, the real story is that Bob Dole did the El Foldo because he was afraid of what would happen when it was his turn to run for president. Moderates strike again! Don’t take my word for it. Liberal apparatchik Paul Begala agrees.

Producer Thomas suggests a method to get the state of Illinois to join the other 49 and allow some form of concealed carry to law-abiding citizens, one that would be very effective; give Illinois pol Mike Madigan a commission on every bullet sold.

British journo Katty Kay, appearing on the 2/26/12 edition of Chris Matthews’ syndicated show, is mystified about why “Americans” are obsessed with non-issue of contraception. Gee, could it be that the Lame Stream Media, led by former dem operative George Stephanapolous, took its marching orders from the Regime back in January? (We were the first to point that out on our January 8 show.)

Best Performance by an Insufferable Gasbag in a Non-Supporting (as in supporting America) Role-it’s Oscar Sunday, after all

Nominees:

  • Barack Hussein Obama, who actually deserves a Lifetime Achievement in this category, but was nominated for his statement a couple of weeks ago that it “turns out” that pesky Constitution is a MUCH bigger problem than could have realized before he got into office. Really, “Professor?”
  • Tim “Turbo Tax” Geithner, falling back on the dem meme that paying taxes is patriotic, and the price of being an American. Does this statement mean that he’s plagiarizing from Joe Biden?
  • Warren Buffet, whether out of guilt or for ego gratification, allowing his secretary to be used as a shill for a false narrative about the “unfairness” of our tax system. Nice little lame happy talk routine, Warren and Debbie. Too bad it’s not true.
  • Liberal brain rot victim/MS-NBC host Melissa Harris Perry explains the GOP’s “War on Women” to Al Sharpton. It’s a national eating disorder. Who knew? Has anyone told Moochelle? The brilliant professor also weighed in on the movie “The Help.” I know that you will enjoy this excellent analysis The PJ Tatler » Why MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry Pretends to Hate The Help.

Obama discovers new form of alternative energy: pond scum. No doubt that will be the answer to $5/gallon gas. Which campaign contributor owns an algae factory?

Caller Marathonpundit answers our request for alternative Oscar hosts, and suggests an excellent choice. He also updates us on his great reporting on the Occupy movement. Is that still around? As long as there are people who refuse to take their psych meds, there will be filthy misfits obstructing commerce, roaming the streets, screeching obscenities.

Women Won’t Vote for Santorum, Chris? Wait-Not Even You?

On yesterday’s edition of his fine “Hardball” program on the 24/7 televised insane asylum aka MS-NBC, Chris Matthews featured a clinic demonstrating again, as if we needed more proof that liberals have no sense of humor. Not only that, when forced to into the inevitable corner by the intellectual bankruptcy of their ideas, they resort to their default setting: OUTRAGE!

Chrissie got his panties in a bundle over a humorous comment from one of Rick Santorum’s major backers, Foster Friess, on Andrea Mitchell’s show yesterday.

Chris also assured his audience, all 26 or so of us, that no women would vote for Rick Santorum.

Today, the unofficial members of Obama’s campaign staff, sometimes called “journalists” are spinning like tops, trying to position Cong. Darryl Issa’s hearing yesterday as more evidence of the GOP’s “war against women,” by expressing shock and outrage that no women appeared as witnesses at hearing that was about “contraception.” Of course, the fact that the hearing wasn’t about contraception, but was about the Regime’s trampling of the First Amendment, was never mentioned.

In their campaign to inflame the dumb rage of the low-information potential voters, there is no place for truth.

Great Minds Think Alike, or Rush with O’Brien Echo Syndrome?

Play

As usual, listeners to the Teri O’Brien Show are WAY ahead of the curve. Once again, they heard on Sunday what others hear on Monday, or even later in the week.

On last Sunday’s (2/12/12) show, as noted in the Show Notes for that edition of the program posted yesterday, I presented the theory that the Regime’s attempt to make last week’s exposure of the naked coercion required to implement Obamacare about contraception explains George Stephanopolous’ grilling of Mitt Romney about that subject back on 1/7/12. At the time, no one could understand where that came from. As I explained last Sunday, now it makes sense. Here’s the audio:

Then last night on Hannity’s show, Dick Morris presented the same theory, an event the Rush described on his show today, nearly 48 hours after we mentioned it on the Teri O’Brien Show. Here’s that audio:

Women Expect Too Much and Settle for Too Little: Today on the Teri O’Brien Show

With Valentine’s Day approaching, it’s a good time to ask the question: Is romance dead? The recent controversy over federally-mandated “free” contraception, deemed “essential preventative care” by the Obama regime, raises a more subtle question. Is the notion of “courtship,” now as quaint as the parasol, replaced by hookup, and if so, who benefits? The late 1960‘s saw the rise of so-called women’s movement, but has it really benefitted women? Are we better off now that “liberation” means that we’re supposed to not only pick up the check, but also hit the sheets with as many men as possible, get rid of any inconvenient tissue mass byproducts of our sexual conquests, and move on to the next one? Of course not, and while it might seem like our culture’s sexual candy store might be a dream come true for men, as they mature, aren’t they also looking for something deeper and more meaningful?

Our special guest, nationally-syndicated columnist and author of the best-selling book, It Takes a Parent, Betsy Hart, will join us to talk about looking for love in all the right places. Her new book “From The Hart: A Collection of Favorite Columns on Love, Loss, Marriage (and Other Extreme Sports)” is a refreshingly honest, intelligent, and sometimes politically incorrect, exploration of modern relationships. Betsy will explain the real reason that women seem to have such a tough time finding Mr. Right, often ignoring many good guys in the process. She’s also agreed to take your questions about love and romance. I’ll ask her about a recent CPAC attendee’s idea of the perfect conservative date.

The Obama administration has decided that the issue of federal government coercion, laid bare by their insistence that birth control, including abortifacients, are a “right,” is behind them, but not so fast, my dictatorial friends. Nothing is over until we say it is.

Join us Sunday for the rest of the story.

“How Stupid Does He Think We Are” File: Obama’s Contraception “Compromise”

Today the One, King Barack I, announced his latest edict on requiring that employees receive “free” contraceptives, including abortifacients, from their employers. It’s a good thing he stepped in. After all, what kind of a rotten country would deprive women of essential products like birth control and morning after pills, and by “deprive,” of course I mean making them pay for them themselves rather than have their neighbors do so. Our wise Dear Leader would have none of that. His brilliant “compromise,” designed to avoid that pesky First Amendment problem of requiring religious institutions to pay for services that violate church doctrine, is a ridiculous shell game. Here’s part of what he said this afternoon:

Under the rule, women will still have access to free preventive care that includes contraceptive services, no matter where they work. So that core principle remains, but if a woman’s employer is a charity or a hospital that has a religious objection to providing contraceptive services as part of their health plan, the insurance company, not the hospital, not the charity, will be required to reach out and offer the woman contraceptive care free of charge, without co-pays, without hassles.

Cool! Not only do they get their Baby No More pellets. They get them without “hassles” from the Man!

Still, I’m a little confused. Employers don’t have to pay, but the employees’ insurance companies do? Just who is going to pay them? The Tooth Fairy? Wouldn’t that be the aforementioned employers? The reality is that it will be all of our employers, and all of us, just another little poison pill we’ve discovered now that Congress passed the Obamacare law so we can find out what’s in it.

I can’t believe that even Chris Matthews believes it when he says that this phony plan “solves” any problem, other than the political problem that arose for Obama when the Catholic Church stood up to his unconstitutional bullying, what Obama calls “basic fairness for all Americans.” As Liberty Counsel notes on Illinois Review, this scheme is a transparent accounting gimmick, nothing more.

Clearly the White House and the Obama campaign, which are one in the same, have made the calculation that they can use this fig leaf to fool the low-information, emotionally-driven liberal cafeteria Catholics, who are invested in supporting the “progressive” agenda, an agenda that relies on a level of coercion that offends not only the Constitution, but basic human decency.

Their repeated success at conning the American public over the last five years has convinced this bunch that we are truly a nation of dolts. When will their luck run out?

 Cross-posted at Illinois Review.

What am I missing? SOMEONE has to pay for these “essential” services, no?

This morning, Obama’s propagandists are spinning like tops, trying to fool low information viewers into believing that he has “caved” on his administration’s trampling the First Amendment.
Oh happy days are here again! Behold the mighty hand of the Great Compromiser! I’ll ask again: just how stupid do these people think we are? What am I missing? Now, instead of coercing religious organizations to pay for services that violate their consciences, he’s going to coerce insurance companies. And, where, Dear Reader do you think the insurance companies will get the money to pay for that?

From the WaPo:

Women still will be guaranteed coverage for contraceptive services without any out-of-pocket cost, but will have to seek the coverage directly from their insurance companies if their employers object to birth control on religious grounds.

Religiously-affiliated non-profit employers such as schools, charities, universities, and hospitals will be able to provide their workers with plans that exclude such coverage. However, the insurance companies that provide the plans will have to offer those workers the opportunity to obtain additional contraceptive coverage directly, at no additional charge.

The current controversy was never about contraception. These products are widely available and do not involve the sort of extraordinary expense that insurance was intended to cover. It has always been about one thing and one thing only: coercion, Barack Obama’s dream of the federal government’s having the power of life and death over every American. Nothing he did or said today changes this debate one bit. As noted yesterday,  the Regime “works with” its opponents the same way Tony Soprano worked with Phil Leotardo.

His Highness King Barack has spoken. In his benevolence, he has decided to stop persecuting religious organizations. For now.
