Happy Cinco De Mayo, or as Barack Obama might say, “Cinco de Cuatro!”

Barack Obama goes to Mexico, warns us not to get all “bogged down” worrying about border security, and apologizes AGAIN for the United States, this time for being responsible for drug trafficking and the prevalence of guns, and conveniently neglects to mention that his administration deliberately sent lots of them there in an attempt to gin up gun control hysteria in the United States. As his fellow pinko Lenin would say, to make an omelette, you’ve got to break some eggs. What’s a few hundred dead Mexicans?

For the 5th time in the last 18 months, Obama goes to Ohio, this time to THE Ohio State University to reward the wet-behind-the-ears Obamabots who mindlessly voted for him because he’s so cool. He warns them not to get all bogged down in listening to people who tell them that government isn’t the source of everything good in their lives.

With a straight face, faux reasonable, moderate, middle-of-the-road guy/national embarrassment Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) explains that unless we pass the 844-page “comprehensive immigration reform,” it won’t be possible to make sure that people like the Tsarnaev accomplices don’t overstay or re-enter the country with expired student visas, demonstrating how breathtakingly stupid the democrats really think we are.

Rudy Giuliani makes a great case that Robel Phillipos, Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev should be charged with being accessories in the murder of MIT police officer Sean Collier.

On May Day, amazingly, once again, illegal aliens emerge from “the shadows” to wave Mexican flags and hang out with communists and anarchists. The Left, including their stenographers in the LSM, say “Communists? What communists?” So does the afore-mentioned pudgy huckster, Dick Durbin.

Benghazi survivors remain “in the shadows,” but whistleblowers will testify on Wednesday before Darryl Issa’s committee.

Bill Maher celebrates the gassing and incineration of his fellow citizens by our government at Waco.

At the NRA convention, Wayne LaPierre says bring it on, and reflects on what it’s like to be called a “liar” by Barack Obama. I think it’s sort of like being called “fat” by Michael Moore, or “stupid” by Elisabeth Hasselback.

SL (Smart Listener) Mensa sent us these quotes from John Maynard Keynes, which I wanted to share since we were talking about all the Keynesian crap that Gene Sperling and Barack Obama are trying to sell you. Link here. Don’t be played.)

“I believe that in many cases the ideal size for the unit of control and organisation lies somewhere between the individual and the modern State. I suggest, therefore, that progress lies in the growth and the recognition of semi-autonomous bodies within the State-bodies whose criterion of action within their own field is solely the public good as they understand it, and from whose deliberations motives of private advantage are excluded…”

“For my part I think that capitalism, wisely managed, can probably be made more efficient for attaining economic ends than any alternative system yet in sight, but that in itself it is in many ways extremely objectionable. Our problem is to work out a social organisation which shall be as efficient as possible without offending our notions of a satisfactory way of life.”

Justice Scalia’s comment during last week’s oral argument over Sec. 5 of the Voting Rights Act has Left even more unhinged than usual because he accurately described “preclearance,” what was supposed to be a temporary remedy as “racial entitlement.”

Soundbite I didn’t have time to play, in which liberals express outrage over Court invalidating legislative enactment. From MS-NBC’S “Up with Chris Hayes,” featuring Judith Browne Dianis, of something called the Advanceproject.org, and Akhil Reed Amar, of Yale Law School. Thought experiment: will they feel the same way about the Court reviewing the Defense of Marriage Act?

While both Democrats and Republicans slobber all over Hillary Clinton when she finally appears before Congress to try to explain what happened when 4 Americans were murdered in Benghazi on 9/11/12, an objective review demonstrates that the Obama foreign policy of “leading from behind” is a disaster. Ted Koppel, Bob Woodward and John McCain agree on that. Unless we’re counting frequent flyer miles, isn’t Hillary a huge failure? Except for that “beautiful voice” mentioned by Chris Matthews, of course. What about the obvious irony of Hillary Clinton, a woman who cut her political teeth by pursuing a sitting president for lying, now saying that it doesn’t matter if a president lies?

The Obama Girls are Off Limits, Unless They Can Improve Their Parents’ Image

On yesterday’s show, during the segment in which I played the excellent responses by Texas Senator Ted Cruz to David “Howdy Doody” Gregory’s silly questions about the NRA ad exposing Obama as a phony, elitist limousine liberal, I mentioned this CNN report that I had seen earlier in the day. It aired again this morning. It was the usual slobbering drivel that you would expect, celebrating the wonderful family that the Obamas have managed to create, despite the stress of living at a level of luxury unheard of in all of human history. Here’s the portion, in which we learn–I hope the you are sitting down!–that Malia does her own laundry–Gasp! Also, we learn that they watch only 2 hours of television a week. I wish I could get away with that, but I watch so you don’t have to.

(By the way, was delicious to watch, and to hear, Sen. Cruz talk about the wealthy “outsourcing” their security right in the face of David “The Laws are for the little people” Gregory, so if you missed the show, please check it out.)

“Fortunately We’ve Had No Scandals,” Says Obama Apparatchik Plouffe-Show Notes, The Teri O’Brien Show

H/T Weasel Zippers

I am not making that up. If you heard today’s show, you heard haircut victim David Plouffe respond to Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace’s question about the perils of 2nd presidential terms by expressing happiness over the Obama first term being scandal-free. As I have said often during the last 4 years, I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. And, as I have also often said, liberals are like the children that they love to exploit, so they like to play pretend. Since the Lame Stream Media doesn’t report on Fast and Furious, Benghazi or Solyndra, they never happened. Plouffe repeated this claim about the Obama first term being scandal free not only on FNS, but also on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopolous,” and he was not challenged on either show. What a surprise!
