Holder to State Attorneys General: Join Me. Being Lawless is Fun!

EricHolder

From our “Blog of the Day” Bloviating Zeppelin: http://bloviatingzeppelin.net

Apparently it’s not enough for the Obama Regime to be operate in a completely lawless manner on the federal level. Now, this gangsta bunch is trying to infect the states with their enthusiasm for destroying the Constitution and federalism. From the New York Times aka The Liberal Death Star:

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. on Monday injected the Obama administration into the emotional and politicized debate over the future of state same-sex marriage bans, declaring in an interview that state attorneys general are not obligated to defend laws that they believe are discriminatory.

Mr. Holder was careful not to encourage his state counterparts to disavow their own laws, but said that officials who have carefully studied bans on gay marriage could refuse to defend them.

Six state attorneys general — all Democrats — have refused to defend bans on same-sex marriage, prompting criticism from Republicans who say they have a duty to stand behind their state laws, even if they do not agree with them.

So, if you are the attorney general of a sovereign state, according to Mr. Holder, you have the right, perhaps even the obligation, to disregard the will of the people as manifested in your state’s law, as long as you have “carefully studied” the issue. You know, the same way that Barack and Eric “carefully studied” the issue of so-called same sex marriage, which lead to the One’s “evolving” position of the issue. Some might say is what they studied is the election calendar to make sure they told the appropriate, well-time lies, but those people are just bitter-clinging cynics.

Also from the New York Times:

His comments signal the latest manifestation of the Obama administration’s evolving position on gay rights. Mr. Obama came into office opposed to same-sex marriage. But in 2011, he decided against defending the Defense of Marriage Act and ended the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy barring gays and lesbians from the military. The next year, the president said he personally supported gay marriage.

Shazam! Who says liberals don’t believe in evolution?

Clearly, liberals like B. Hussein and his mouthpiece Eric “You Are a Race Coward” Holder, who are noted for crusading for “civil rights,” especially those of criminal defendants, believe that the people of the states of Virginia, Oregon, California, Nevada, Illinois, and Pennsylvania don’t deserve any representation when their state laws are under relentless assault by militant homosexual activists.

I would ask the attorneys general of those states “who speaks for the people of your state?” No one? Of course, that’s the answer.

Oh, and speaking of civil rights, Holder also chose a cheerleader for notorious cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal to head up the Civil Rights Division of his (In)Justice Department.

Meanwhile, Holder continues to stonewall requests for information about his lying to Congress about Fast and Furious. He needs more time! Of course, he has plenty of time to send rent-a-mobs down to Florida any time there is an opportunity to play the race card, as in the Zimmerman case, another example of Mr.Holder’s interference in something that is absolutely none of his business.

Ineligible Barack Obama, Poster Child For Ignoring Wisdom of the Founders-Today on The Teri O’Brien Show-7-7-13

Those of us who have taken the time to try to answer the question “Who is Barack Hussein Obama?” over the last six years, from Stanley Kurtz, Dinesh D’Souza, Jack Cashill, Dr. Jerome Corsi, Joel Gilbert,  all of whom have appeared on The Teri O’Brien Show to discuss their findings, agree on one thing; that is, wherever we look into his background, we find sealed records, scrubbed websites, altered (and probably forged) documents, deception and an endless series of unanswered questions. Among the remaining mysteries is the question of his many Social Security numbers. The one most frequently used, the one that starts with “042,” appears to have been issued in Connecticut in 1976-77, when Barack Obama would have been a 16 year old living in Hawaii, and originally belonged to a man born in 1890, Harrison J Bounel. How can this be? What is the best explanation for it? Can it be the same explanation that we heard for the fact that up until 2007 Barack Obama’s publisher distributed a bio that said he was born in Kenya, “clerical error?” Today we’ll ask Orly Taitz, who has been trying to get to the bottom of the mystery of Barack Obama for years, will join us to share her findings and the current status of the legal proceedings to try to get to the truth.

This situation brings the Founders’ wisdom into stunning clarity. Barack Obama, who has made no secret of his contempt for the Constitution as a doctrine of “negative rights,” as in an obstacle to his plans to “remake” our country by redistributing wealth in the interest of “fairness,” is the poster child for the danger of ignoring their wisdom.

Also, there’s lots of 2nd amendment news this week, including the use of a Fast and Furious gun in the murder of a top cop in Mexico. Surprisingly, Eric Holder continues to stonewall. In other legal matters, Barack Obama decides to act in an extra-legal fashion AGAIN by delaying the employer mandate of his signature “achievement,” the Orwellianly named Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare. If Congress enacts a law, can he simply suspend its operation? Can you say “Defense of Marriage Act?”

With Egypt erupting, the Obama administration continues to “lead from behind,” or in John Kerry’s case, from his wife’s yacht. Speaking of that nifty boat, you won’t believe how much Lurch, who notoriously favored higher taxes for you, is saving using a clever tax-avoidance strategy. Some things never change. There are some interesting parallels between the situation in Egypt and the current “remaking” of America. We’ll explore them.

Michelle Obama reaches out to her mini me. What does it mean to “act like” Michelle? I’ll share my ideas and I’d love to hear yours. Please tweet your suggestions to me @teriobrien,and use the hashtag, #ActLikeMichelle

Swinging Justice Kennedy Told Us 17 Years Ago That He Favored Gay Marriage

Yesterday’s Supreme Court decision requiring the federal government to pay federal benefits to couples in so-called same-sex “marriages” was no surprise. After Justice Kennedy’s ridiculous, emotionally-driven opinion in 2003′s Lawrence v. Texas, a case that invalidated state laws against sodomy, it was only a matter of time, provided that Swinging Tony was still on the Court. Now, predictably, the Supreme Court has jumped the shark.

How nauseating was it to see moronic militant homosexual advocates trot out the predictable drivel that recognizing homosexual “marriage” is wonderful for “the children?” We all know that liberals seeking to destroy traditional institutions, trample on our liberty and confiscate our property never fail to use “the children” as a justification, but it was particularly offensive here, since it is manifest that the best thing for children is to be born to a married man and woman and to grow up in their home. Research has repeatedly demonstrated that fact. Having two “dads” or two “moms” is not the same thing, and only those who are pretending otherwise to promote a political agenda say otherwise. The relentless pursuit to force society to normalize homosexuality is all about adults, and always has been. So they need to let that talking point go.

Not that the giddy celebrants I saw doing the Happy Dance yesterday were completely wrong. I saw Christine Quinn, openly lesbian candidate for New York City mayor,  analyze the Huffington decision, the one in which the Court sent the Proposition 8 case back to California because its opponents had a lack of standing. Her take was that the Court was saying was she always says says “My marriage doesn’t harm anyone else.” Of course, that’s a vapid, imbecilic and inaccurate statement of what lack of standing means as a matter of law, and given that fact, of course, moron of the century Chris “Thrill up My Leg” Matthews agreed completely. Leaving the ignorance about legal matters aside, Ms. Quinn is correct. The Left has spent the last 50 years working to destroy the traditional family, and once many decided to not only tolerate, but embrace, immorality, with radical feminists convincing women that it was “liberating” to hit the sheets with as many guys as possible, confident that they could safely rid themselves with any inconvenient tissue mass that resulted and that marriage was “slavery,” this so-called “same-sex marriage” was inevitable. Once heterosexual couples decided it was cool to shack up and that producing bastard kids was the thing to do, where did we think we would end up? Congratulations, homosexuals. You can get “married” for what that’s worth. It’s like being able to be elected Phi Beta Kappa by sending in $20. So Ms. Quinn is right.

How appropriate was it that this whole fight was about not only forcing many to accept as normal conduct that we consider deviant but also federal benefits? At the end of the day, the Left is all about reduces everything about human life to economics, after all.

As I watched the breathless commentators praise this decision, and the rapid pace of social change, I was reminded of Joe Biden’s 2012 comment, crediting the sitcom “Will and Grace” with helping the American public “evolve” to the point that we could take the next step down the moral sewer. He’s absolutely correct, and here’s something I’ll bet you haven’t heard. Back in 1990, two guys wrote a book called After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90′s. It’s basically like a “Rules for Radicals” to get us where we are today accepting homosexuality. Using the popular culture was a critical component of their strategy, and they succeeded brilliantly.

As disappointing as this DOMA decision was, I have to admit that any day when I agree with both Joe Biden and militant homosexual activists is notable.

Jeb Bush Defends Immigration Flip-Flop, Stays Mum On 2016 Run

Bill Clinton: It’s time to overturn DOMA – The Washington Post

When a Flip Flopper is a Statesman: Today on The Teri O’Brien Show

Cue the “Dynasty” theme. Here comes another Bush, this time Jeb, heart throb of the RINO wing of the GOP, testing the waters for a presidential run in 2016 with–what else?–a book about–what else?–immigration. This week Jeb is being busted by democrats as a shameless panderer on that issue based on comments in his book on the “path to citizenship.” He was for it, before he was against it, they say. I hold no brief for former Florida governor Bush, but I can’t help but notice that the critique of his alleged “flip flop” sounds a lot like the position taken by one William Jefferson Clinton on the issue of so-called “same sex” marriage. Mr. Clinton, as you know, signed the Defense of Marriage Act, an enactment despised by the Left almost as much as they despise Dick Cheney. Last week, Mr. Clinton penned a piece for the Washington Post in which he declared that DOMA is-wait for it-”unconstitutional.” Shazam! That only took 17 years for him to discover that. Could he be pandering to the radical left-wing of the democrat party? Not to hear the slobbering stenographers in the Lame Stream Media. We’ll unpack Clinton’s lame explanation for this stunning flip-flop, and recall an even more lame excuse for a 180 on constitutionality, from Illinois’ gift to unintentional comedy, Dick “Eddie Haskell Durbin.” We’ll also re-examine another media myth, the story of Matthew Sheppard, an alleged hate crime victim whose story fueled legislation and is being credited with helping advance the cause of two men or two women playing house as “husband” and “husband,” or “wife” and “wife.” Is the tragic story of the murder of Matthew Sheppard really about a hate crime, or once again, have you been played AGAIN?

Rand Paul shines a lot on the issue of executive power. The usual suspects rush to the microphones to condemn him, proving that some people have a really hard time learning from their mistakes. Eric Holder sends a snarky response to Rand Paul’s simple question. Yet, what about the drone question that remains unanswered?

“The 1970’s Called and They Want Their Issues Back” file: Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg has a new book, a new feminist manifesto, inspiring endless, boring blathering on talking head shows about that ancient question “What do women want?”

This news could relieve Chris Matthews of his last shred of sanity: a new documentary about the afore-mentioned former Vice President Dick Cheney.

Tune in today for the rest of the story.

Obama’s Lawlessness Continues. Executive Orders to Trample Your 2nd Amendment Rights

Even though it has been declared outmoded and too hard to understand by brilliant analysts like the Washington Post’s resident wunderkind (read “silly, puerile self-important weenie”) Ezra Klein, just for fun, it might be worth revisiting that quaint parchment written by dead white Europeans, our precious Constitution. I recognize that for most of the people in this audience, such a review is unnecessary, but keep in mind that for every one of you, there are probably at least 100 people for whom this information would not be a review, but a complete revelation. Please spread the word if you can get them to stop watching “Entertainment Tonight” and “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”

The Constitution provides for three branches of government; specifically, the executive, the legislative and the judicial, or as they are commonly known, the President, the Congress and the Supreme Court, and the lower federal courts. The President is the executive, as in the one who sees that the laws, which are enacted by the legislative branch, are faithfully executed. Got it? Executives execute, as in carry out, which brings us to the reason for the executive order. It is a directive to carry out policies, or as Article II, Sec. 3 of the Constitution says to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed,” NOT to independently make policy, or to willfully impose policies that have been rejected by Congress.

The Obama administration’s breathtaking lawlessness has been a constant source of amazement, anger, and anxiety for all freedom-loving Americans. Whether it is appointing officials using the recess appointment power when the Senate is not in recess, unilaterally granting the amnesty to young illegal aliens that Congress declined to grant, or deciding not to enforce duly-enacted laws like the Defense of Marriage Act, Barack Obama has made clear through both his actions and his words that when “we can’t wait!,” he’ll blow his nose on the Constitution and do whatever he wants.

Tomorrow, if news reports are accurate, His Majesty Barack Obama will present his “solution” to “gun violence” surrounded by kiddie human shields, including the “executive action” that had the gang over at the 24/7 televised insane asylum, MS-NBC, practically wetting their panties just thinking about it. Predictably, they pull out their race card, to suggest that those of us who correctly state that any executive orders infringing on the 2nd amendment are illegal, are showing disrespect to the One because of his race. After all, they point out, George H.W. Bush imposed restrictions on “assault weapons,” so why can’t Obama? As usual, our leftist friends are glossing over some critical details, either because they are ignorant of them, or because they are politically motivated to avoid pointing out critical differences. Pres. Bush 41 did indeed use an executive order to restrict the importation of certain guns in 1989 after a wacko killed 5 and wounded 29 others in January, 1989. Here’s the critical part. He acted pursuant to an act of Congress, the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, another reactive law, admittedly, but still a legal enactment by Congress. President Bush did not attempt to ban any weapons, or restrict the size of magazines, or do any of the other lawless crap that this bunch is discussing trying to impose on us.

Even though many of the recommendations that are being bandied about would be illegal if imposed by executive fiat, there are still a number of legal actions that Barack Obama could impose by executive order that would burden our 2nd amendment rights. He could act through federal agencies to make it more difficult and more expensive to purchase a firearm and the ammunition that you need to use it. What if, for example, he directs the Environmental Protection Agency to investigate the environmental impact of the lead in bullets and requires ammo manufacturers to pay a tax for cleaning up the alleged “mess” that they cause? What if he directs the Drug Enforcement Administration to conduct more frequent examination of gun store records, making it more difficult for them to conduct business? Oh, yes, Bitter Clinger, don’t kid yourself. Barack Obama despises the Constitution in general and the 2nd Amendment in particular. He has shown that he has no compunction about acting as if he is above the law.

Will anyone have the cajones to stop him?
