99+% of “DREAMERS” Approved by Obama Admin, Union Representing Agency That Will Enforce Immigration Reports

Not that that’s exactly a news bulletin that the Obama administration is rubber stamping illegals. From the Washington Times:

The Senate’s immigration bill will raise national security risks and the Obama administration will do little more than “rubber-stamp” illegal immigrants into the program, endangering Americans, says the labor union representing the 12,000 employees who will have to approve the applications.
Kenneth Palinkas, president of the American Federation of Government Employees Council 119, which represents officers and staff at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, will deliver a damning critique of the Senate bill Monday, according to a copy of his statement obtained by The Washington Times. …

“The culture at USCIS encourages all applications to be approved, discouraging proper investigation into red flags and discouraging the denial of any applications,” his remarks say. “USCIS has been turned into an ‘approval machine.’”

The union becomes the second key Homeland Security Department labor group to oppose the bill. Its opposition dents the bill and deals a blow to the AFL-CIO — the coalition of labor unions that has put major legislative muscle behind the bill this year but is seeing its members peel off. …

Chief among the USCIS union’s worries is the way the administration has handled President Obama’s non-deportation policy for “Dreamers” — illegal immigrants who arrived as children and who the Obama administration has said should not be deported.

Last year, Mr. Obama announced a policy titled Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals that grants a two-year stay of deportation and work permits.

The latest statistics show that the administration is approving almost every application it receives: 99.2 percent of all applications decided through the end of April, according to numbers released Friday.

As noted on yesterday’s show, if the GOP thinks that the ticket to success is giving amnesty to illegals, they should get ready to lose another election.

 

 

Mitt’s Lame Explanation for Last Week’s Lost

OK, I’m sorry, but this explanation for last week’s failure to rescue our great nation from the clutches of Barack Hussein Obama and his Marxist cabal is just LAME. From Liberal Death Star (for you newbies, the New York Times):

Saying that he and his team still felt “troubled” by his loss to President Obama, Mitt Romney on Wednesday attributed his defeat in part to what he called big policy “gifts” that the president had bestowed on loyal Democratic constituencies, including young voters, African-Americans and Hispanics.

In a conference call with fund-raisers and donors to his campaign, Mr. Romney said Wednesday afternoon that the president had followed the “old playbook” of using targeted initiatives to woo specific interest groups — “especially the African-American community, the Hispanic community and young people.”

He went on to contrast Team Obama’s identity politics strategy with his own campaign of big issues, affecting the whole country. He gave various examples of the goodies from his stash that Barry gave to each group. For example,

The president’s health care plan, he said, was also a useful tool in mobilizing black and Hispanic voters. Though Mr. Romney won the white vote with 59 percent, according to exit polls, minorities coalesced around the president in overwhelming numbers: 93 percent of blacks and 71 percent of Hispanics.

“You can imagine for somebody making $25,000 or $30,000 or $35,000 a year, being told you’re now going to get free health care, particularly if you don’t have it, getting free health care worth, what, $10,000 per family, in perpetuity — I mean, this is huge,” Mr. Romney said. “Likewise with Hispanic voters, free health care was a big plus. But in addition with regards to Hispanic voters, the amnesty for children of illegals, the so-called Dream Act kids, was a huge plus for that voting group.”

Huge? Let me help you out, Mitt. How about saying something like “you’re being told that you’re going to get ‘free’ health care, but what good is an insurance card if you can’t a doctor who will accept your government coverage? Have you seen what’s happening in the President’s home state, Illinois? The Affordable Care Act cuts $700 billion from Medicare, and creates a board of 15 bureaucrats who are there to “reduce costs,” which means denying care to seniors. Experience in European countries shows what happens when the government takes over health care. The rich will be just fine. They’ll always be able to find a doctor willing to take care of them. If you’re not rich, you’ll get a pain pill if you’re lucky before you’re sent down the hospice chute.” I know you don’t see Mitt saying anything like that, but my point is that it is PATHETIC to hear him act as if there are not obvious rebuttals to the idea that Obamacare is a “huge” benefit. Are you kidding me?! The failure to respond to the Obama campaigns claims (lies) about the health care law is just one example.

This explanation is especially pitiful when you consider that Mitt himself admits that these bribe-laced appeals to identity groups are the democrats’ “old playbook.” Duh! This bunch has been feasting on the rotting corpse of Karl Marx for 70 or 80 years, and payoffs to cronies and mascots is a time-honored Chicago tradition. So, even though a six year old could see their battle plan coming, the Romney campaign did NOTHING to combat it? Repeating–ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

During last Friday’s announcement of his latest violation of his oath of office, Barack Obama said:

Now, these are young people who study in our schools, they play in our neighborhoods, they’re friends with our kids, they pledge allegiance to our flag. They are Americans in their heart, in their minds, in every single way but one: on paper.

As difficult as it is to overlook the absurdity of the last sentence, in which our supposedly learned lawyer chief executive, seems oblivious to the fact that that “on paper” thing is what the law is all about, let’s leave that aside and focus instead on the first sentence. These illegals “study in our schools.” I assume he means the public schools, the ones funded by increasingly burdensome property taxes, which got me thinking. Rather than being given the opportunity to compete with the millions of young Americans who also “studied hard, worked hard,” to quote the One, but can’t find jobs, shouldn’t they or their families be required to reimburse taxpayers for the free education that they obtained under false pretenses?

I wonder how Kelley Williams-Bolar would answer that question. Perhaps you haven’t heard her story, but given the President’s statement, it’s worth revisiting.

The Grio reported that Kelley Williams-Bolar, 40, and her dad, were accused of using his address so her kids could go to school in the Copley-Fairlawn district where her father lived. But Williams-Bolar contends that she was not living at another house outside the school’s zone. She said that she was living with her father in the Copley-Fairlawn district helping him while he was sick and that she should’ve moved out of the other house completely, so someone else could have lived there.

Williams-Bolar is a single mother, and is only credits away from graduating from the University of Akron with a teaching degree. But now that she’s been convicted of a felony and jailed for 10 days with a 5-year suspended sentence, she may, according to Ohio State Law, lose her license to teach. The judge for her case, Patricia Cosgrove, said that she would write a letter on her behalf to keep that from happening.

Like many minority parents, this African-American woman was attempting to get do something about the fact that her kids were trapped in a rotten public school, the type of school that serves teachers’ unions more than children. Anyone who has seen “Waiting for Superman” understands her desperation. She wanted opportunities for them, so she enrolled them in a better school in another district. That act got her convicted of a felony. Perhaps she should have renounced her citizenship, moved to Mexico and snuck across the border. Then everything would have been just fine.

In what is probably not another amazing coincidence, but rather an act of naked political expediency, yesterday the Obama administration reversed course and agreed to continue funding Washington D.C.’s voucher program, a bone thrown to those who may have noticed how ridiculous it is for Americans to have less opportunity in their own country than the children of illegal aliens.

Kelley, if you are angry over what happened to your family, please remember the words of the many Obama apologists who have been telling us over the last several days that his flouting of our immigration laws is the equivalent of the Emancipation Proclamation. And a belated happy Juneteenth!

Barack Obama’s Breathtaking Cynicism on Immigration

As noted on last Sunday’s show, since being elected to federal office, Barack Obama has displayed breathtaking cynicism on the issue of immigration. Ever since he announced his disgusting, politically-motivated stunt last Friday in the Rose Garden, his mouthpieces have rushed to every media outlet to proclaim that his unprecedented action was unavoidable. After all, he supports “comprehensive immigration reform,” and has tried his darnedest to get Dick Durbin and Orrin Hatch’s DREAM (Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors) Act passed, only to be stymied by mean Republicans at every turn. He tried to play by the rules, but they wouldn’t, and as we well know, “we can’t wait!” So, he took action. End of story. Even his friends in the Jurassic media realize that his apparatchiks’ repeated denials that this latest act of unabashed lawlessness is pure identity politics don’t pass the laugh test, and some have even stated the obvious on that point. They don’t mention the other glaring fact about Obama’s double dealing on this issue; specifically, that for two years, the One and his party controlled not only the White House, but both houses of Congress, and did nothing on immigration. (Speeches don’t count.) During that time, everything took a back seat to the socialist Holy Grail, taking over the health care system. This failure broke a 2008 campaign promise made on Univision, and replayed on ABC’ “This Week” On May 28 2008.

Of course, as usual when dealing with this bunch, the story behind the story, which nearly everyone is missing, is even worse. It demonstrates the rotten, stinking cynicism that we’ve learned to expect from those who cut their political teeth in the equally stinking slough of corruption, Cook County. Not only did B. Hussein not push for immigration reform as promised. Listeners to last Sunday’s show heard what no one else is mentioning; specifically, in 2007, his vote was instrumental in killing it.

Now, having had a Shazam moment, he realizes that, contrary to what he said last year, he can unilaterally make law! Who knew? And what an opportune discovery less than five months until election day. From ABC News:

Obama enjoys a lopsided advantage over Republican rival Mitt Romney among Latinos. But while they are the fastest-growing voting bloc, and could decide the outcome in pivotal battleground states like Colorado, Florida and Nevada, Latinos have the lowest voter registration numbers of any major ethnic group in the United States. That means the president must energize them enough to register — and then encourage them to show up on November 6.

The challenge — and the stakes — are evident in Florida. A whopping 638,000 Latinos there are eligible to vote but have not registered, according to a recent report by the Obama-aligned Center for American Progress think tank in Washington. That’s enough to make the difference in the Sunshine State.

This shameful episode is more than just the latest evidence of Barack Obama’s contempt for the Constitution. It is another opportunity for voters to connect the dots. Barack Obama conned voters in 2008 by talking pretty about immigration reform, confident that the lapdog media wouldn’t remind us that he had killed it the previous year on orders from his union taskmasters. He cynically lies about this stunt being “the right thing to do,” when only last year he said he couldn’t. He claims to want to “reach across the aisle,” but deliberately avoided addressing the issue in Congress by reaching out to Sen. Marco Rubio. If he really believed that it’s the right thing to do, he would have tried to do it the right way, with a permanent solution, not with what he admits is a “stop gap.” Of course, had he actually tried to solve the problem, he couldn’t scare those 600,000 unregistered Hispanics in Florida, and the thousands elsewhere, by saying “if I’m not re-elected, there’s no guarantee that my policy won’t be overturned, and that you, your grandma and your (anchor) baby won’t be dragged out of your house in the middle of the night in shackles and booted back to Mexico.”

Desperation ain’t pretty.

El Supremo Jefe Obama Enacts the Dream Act on His Own

The Obama administration will stop deporting and begin granting work permits to younger illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and have since led law-abiding lives. The election-year initiative addresses a top priority of an influential Latino electorate that has been vocal in its opposition to administration deportation policies.

The policy change will affect as many as 800,000 immigrants who have lived in fear of deportation. It also bypasses Congress and partially achieves the goals of the so-called DREAM Act, a long-sought but never enacted plan to establish a path toward citizenship for young people who came to the United States illegally but who have attended college or served in the military.

Obama addressed the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials’ annual conference in Orlando, Fla.

Obama didn’t have much to work with. No court ruling, no new law, no proposed law, only a constitutionally spurious executive order! They had to use a version of Huissein’s patented mathemagicals ® to invent the rationale for securing 800,000 additional votes to Obama’s campaign. By the way, now you understand why Ricky Holder,s DOJ is adamant about not letting Florida remove those “illegal” voters from their rolls. We knew that when King Obama waved his Homeland Security magic wand that most of them would be made legal! After all why should you make the poor illegal aliens go through all the trouble of having to re-register?  ”A grant of deferred action is not immunity, it is not amnesty,” Napolitano told reporters. “It is an exercise of discretion.”

If you believe that it’s only 800 thousand then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
We are talking 2 – 3 million, easy.
And that’s just Los Angeles County.

That 800K is a totally B.S. number. Makes for an acceptably deceptive sound bite for the babbling talking heads to spew, however, since under a million sounds like small potatoes relative to a national population of 310 million +.

Once they start processing these “children”, the number will be “unexpectedly” revised upward. We may be talking upwards of ten million or more when all is said and done. After all you now will have to include their parents, grandparents aunts and uncles since you cant be so cruel as to break up FAMILIES dontcha know

So …. he’s going to hand out hundreds of thousands of work permits when unemployment is at a 30-year low? This drives the labor rate down further and the unemployment rate further upward. Work permits make sense when you’re creating jobs, but not when jobs are scarce. I’m not sure that’s going to endear Obama to unions and blue-collar voters struggling to find work already.

In March 2011, speaking at Univision town hall in Washington, D.C., Barack Obama firmly stated that, as president, he can’t simply “suspend deportations” with only an executive order. “With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through executive order, that’s just not the case, because there are laws on the books that Congress has passed,” President Obama said then.

His statement then was in response to this straight forward question, “What if at least you grant temporary protective status, TPS, to undocumented students? If the answer is yes, when? And if no, why not?”

“I just have to continue to say this notion that somehow I can just change the laws unilaterally is just not true. We are doing everything we can administratively. And I think there’s been a great disservice done to the cause of getting the DREAM Act passed and getting comprehensive immigration passed by perpetrating the notion that somehow, by myself, I can go and do these things. It’s just not true…
[W]e live in a democracy. You have to pass bills through the legislature, and then I can sign it. And if all the attention is focused away from the legislative process, then that is going to lead to a constant dead-end. We have to recognize how the system works, and then apply pressure to those places where votes can be gotten and, ultimately, we can get this thing solved. And nobody will be a stronger advocate for making that happen than me.”

Obama has reduced himself to using illegal alien children as human shields to remove attention from his economic failures.

According to Obama and even the anti-so called Birthers everyone is American until proven otherwise.
If you don’t need papers to live in the White House, why would we continue to require them to live in San Diego?

Obama has a minimal legal basis in ordering HHS and DOJ NOT to deport illegals that fit certain criteria – it can be defended under “prosecutorial discretion” and “setting priorities and allocating resources for law enforcement”.
But … that does not cover the issuance of work permits — that VIOLATES existing law, and a federal judge CAN prohibit that.

One of the articles of Nixon’s impeachment was breach of his constitutional oath of office to faithfully execute the laws of the country. Perhaps in anticipation of the SC decision in the AZ case, Obama decided to preempt its objective ahead of time. So in one stroke he violates state and federal law and thumbs his nose at SCOTUS. Trifecta! We are now a banana republic, Kenyan style.

The 14th Amendment, INTENDED by the framers to ONLY grant citizenship to emancipated slaves by overturning the Dred Scott decision, has been tortured beyond recognition by the radical left to also include so-called “anchor babies” born to women who sneak across the border to download junior HERE and bypass all the normal immigration processes described above.
By executive fiat, today Obama just took the first step to COMPLETELY open our borders (trust me, it is the first step only!) His action makes FOOLS of those who, played by the rules. It also makes fools of those waiting in those overseas lines to come here THE RIGHT WAY!!!

A nation without borders is NOT A NATION!!

Bottom line? If you are STILL unconvinced that this guy is a clear and present danger to YOUR way of life, you probably live in a refrigerator crate behind a vacant warehouse. And if that is NOT your current living condition, re-elect this guy and it shortly will be.

My dear black brothers ans sisters: Remember when the former President of Mexico said, “Mexicans will do the work even blacks won’t do.”? Well, insofar as the black unemployment rate is already much higher than the rest, how will you feel about your “messiah” obama taking even more of your jobs away by (unlawfully) “pardoning” 800,000 illegals? Yeah…he’s “got your back” alright, and shoving his marxist ideology right up it.

I despair as to deciding what should be done about the ever degenerating condition of much of the Black electorate who have embraced amoral liberalism and handouts for the supposed benefit of their tribe. It is a way of thought that is antithetical to the American principle of E Pluribus Unum. . It is Western civilization turned up-side-down.

White people too have lost quite a few of their own tribe to the same mentality. All of us suffer from it because the darkness of leftist ideology and and it’s aggressive and deadly amoral humanist philosphy. It is really a religion of darkness with liberals serving as aggressive and punitive missionaries.

The consequences are denied through rules of political correctness which makes the truth a crime and converts young people to the ideology/religion when they don’t have the information they need to the contrary.

I didn’t know there were so many unfilled jobs in this country that we have to allow others to live here illegally just to try to keep up with the demand… I so glad that our social services can be provided without ever having to consider the cost…. So glad that groups like La Raza promote assimiliation, of learning our language and embracing our culture… So glad that we don’t have to care about the background of those coming in, because we never have issues with crime…

But if you think that Obama is violating his oath, let me set you straight :
The Founding Fathers learned well from the fall of the Roman Republic.
Even in the heyday of the Republic, Rome had a convention of suspending civil government when the city was threatened, in favour of a temporary dictator. Cincinnatus was one of those dictators. That convention was the hook that Caesar Augustus used to establish the Empire. He clothed himself in the tradition of the temporary dictators – only in his case, it was permanent.
The United States has no such loophole. Even during the Civil War, when the U.S. government was at its most tyrannical with respect to civil liberties, elections were still held on schedule. President Lincoln had to run for re-election in 1864. As confirmed by World War II, even total war is no reason to suspend or even postpone elections. Americans have always had the right to change CinCs in mid-war, and still do.
Consequently, there’s no  loophole for a would-be Emperor like the Obamamessiah to exploit. America may degenerate into a dictatorship, but it surely would be an elective dictatorship. Sadly, the continuance of elections would make such dictators claim loudly that they aren’t really tyrants.

What a complete disaster Mr. Obama is. Next time, let’s hire a Natural Born Citizen for President.

So in conclusion, let me just say Barack Hussein Obama,  umm ummm ummmmm!!!!!

Just in time for the 40th anniversary of the Watergate break-in, the return of the Imperial Presidency

Our Dear Reader very conscious of the fierce urgency of now and the fact that “we can’t wait” takes matters into his own hands on immigration. It’s not like he didn’t try to work within that antiquated system set up by a bunch of irrelevant dead white European men. He gave it a shot, but they didn’t pass the law he and Dick Durbin wanted, the DREAM act, so what is he supposed to do? Then, how is he rewarded for decisively doing what only he knows is best for us? By a rude racist rightwing reporter interrupting him, in the Rose Garden!

Some people wonder why Barack Obama didn’t keep his promise to enact “comprehensive immigration reform” (read amnesty for illegals, which this recent move isn’t because Barack Obama said so) during the first two years of his administration when his party controlled both houses of Congress. That’s a good question, but what are even these critics forgetting that exposes his stunning hypocrisy on this issue? We’ll connect those dots.
