Obama uses executive power to move gun control agenda forward – The Hill (mark my words: these “studies” on the causes of gun violence will be used to justify more infringements on our rights)
The ‘40 Percent’ Myth – John Lott – National Review Online (This myth has been completely debunked, but that doesn’t stop Barack Obama and his PR flacks from repeating it. Shame on YOU. Barack Obama for using murdered children to try to promote your leftwing agenda.)
TSA fires 4 screeners, suspends dozens in wake of probe at Newark Liberty airport | NJ.com (Ironic-Newark Mayor Cory Booker asks on ABC’s “This Week,” What if TSA didn’t screen flyers?)
Records: Evan Ebel told prison guard she would ‘beg for her life’ – CNN.com (an alleged straw purchaser was arrested in the case of the murder of the Colorado prison chief, and she could get 16 years in prison. Wait …I thought we needed more laws against “straw purchasers.”)
Even Obama campaign operative F. Chuck Todd can’t let this latest evidence of the One’s hypocrisy go unnoticed. He’s selling access to special meetings to people who pony up 50 Extra Large, as in $500,000 for Organizing for America. From “The Daily Rundown,” Monday, February 25, 2013.
When questioned about this issue, press hack Jay Carney got so upset that he ran away.
Thanks to our guests, Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America and Mary Claire Kendall, Acting CEO of Friends of Reagan’s Chicago Home.
Inexplicably, B. Hussein Obama’s campaign operation releases a ridiculous photo, purporting to show the Dear Reader skeet shooting at Camp David. Either he was shooting at a lead pigeon, which was unable to slip the surly bounds of Earth, hence necessitating that Barry fire the gun while it was held parallel to the ground, or he was aiming at John Boehner. He should have borrowed John Kerry’s “Huntin’ License” getup for this charade. The only possible explanation is that they are hoping to appeal to their low info and/or stupid supporters, who are blissfully unaware of Barack Obama’s decades long, well-demonstrated hostility to the 2nd Amendment.
Citing debunked, bogus studies, the Liberal Death Star (the New York Times) rips Gayle Trotter of Independent Women’s Forum for asserting that guns make women safer. On ABC’s “This Week,” RINO political consultant Matthew Dowd echoes the identical misinformation. and suggests we might want to repeal the 2nd Amendment.
On NBC’s “Meet the Press,” fill-in host F. Chuck Todd cites a Super Bowl ad from Mayor Bloomberg’s gun grab group and lies about the NRA changing its position on “universal” background checks, when even the ad didn’t say that. Pudgy former Obama press secretary, Robert Gibbs, agrees.
On “Fox News Sunday” the NRA’s Wayne La Pierre explains the reason that the instant background check system that the NRA supported in 1999 has been a failure.
Joe Biden, Who Said We Had a Moral Obligation to Impose Gun Control to Solve Problem of Gun Violence, Says Gun Control Won’t Solve Problem of Gun Violence. This is the same guy who told us that the Obama administration doesn’t have time to enforce the current law about firearm purchase background checks. And of course, since they don’t have the time to administer background checks, what are they demanding? More laws about background checks.

At least when it comes to the Obama campaign:
The bizarre disconnect between Barack Obama and world events, as evidenced by his avoidance of any substantive meetings while in New York on Monday did not escape anyone’s attention, even that of his Lame Stream Media suckup stenographers. On his “Daily Rundown” show Monday morning, F. Chuck Todd said that the Obama campaign is hoping that the One can slip into New York, make a couple of speeches at the U.N. and the Clinton Global Initiative, hang out with the hags at “The View,” and get out “without making any news,” as in avoid sticking his foot in his mouth. Today, on his show, F. Chuck Todd questioned Obama campaign mouthpiece/national embarrassment Stephanie Cutter about her guy’s face time phobia, even comparing it unfavorably with George W. Bush. From Mediate:
Host Chuck Todd then noted, as he’s done before, that there is quite a contrast between President Obama’s schedule now and President George W. Bush‘s from this time from years ago. Bush, he said, had met with a “slew” of foreign leaders, whereas Obama hasn’t met with any. One adviser, he shared, even said that if the President meets with one world leader, he’ll have to meet with ten others. “That’s the job sometimes,” Todd pointed out. “This doesn’t seem like a very defensible position.”
ABC’s Jake Tapper was also flummoxed by Obama’s holding himself apart from the rest of the world.
The Liberal Death Star may have provided some insight, and inadvertently exposed another area in which the One is not doing his job. That fact shouldn’t come as a surprise. He got elected to the U.S. Senate, and then spent most of his time running for president while collecting his Senate salary. Now he’s playing dress up as “president,” and neglecting an essential aspect of the job of President of the United States.
From the New York Times:
The tensions between Mr. Obama and the Gulf states, both American and Arab diplomats say, derive from an Obama character trait: he has not built many personal relationships with foreign leaders. “He’s not good with personal relationships; that’s not what interests him,” (emphasis mine) said one United States diplomat. “But in the Middle East, those relationships are essential. The lack of them deprives D.C. of the ability to influence leadership decisions.”…
Arab officials echo that sentiment, describing Mr. Obama as a cool, cerebral man who discounts the importance of personal chemistry in politics. “You can’t fix these problems by remote control,” (emphasis mine) said one Arab diplomat with long experience in Washington. “He doesn’t have friends who are world leaders. He doesn’t believe in patting anybody on the back, nicknames.
“You can’t accomplish what you want to accomplish” with such an impersonal style, the diplomat said.
What?!! Mr. Warmth is “not good with personal relationships?” How can this be?
It’s obvious to me that the reason Barack Obama avoids meetings with world leaders is that he realizes that he’s the least qualified person in nearly any room he occupies, and he’s terrified of being exposed as inadequate. We realize that that ship has sailed, and that his severe limitations should be obvious to even a casual observer, but Barry spends most of his time with sycophants. In his comfortable bubble, he knows that his “secret” is safe. He is terrified of venturing outside it.
Critics of affirmative-action have often noted that excusing people from having to meet high standards is not a kindness. The alleged “beneficiaries” know they’ve been given preferential treatment, and that fact will always make them wonder if they could have made the grade without it. In Obama’s case, the answer is an obvious “no.” I don’t think anyone should be surprised that, as one of these “lucky” affirmative action assisted people, he may have a bit of an inferiority complex.
So, let me break it down for you, Jake and F. Chuck. Barack Obama is an unqualified empty suit, and for all his obvious narcissism, at some level he realizes it. It’s one thing to dazzle vacuous celebrities like Jay-Z and Beyoncè, bleach-blonde blowup doll Elisabeth Hasselbeck, or room-temperature IQ loudmouth Joy Behar with your alleged brilliance. It’s another to enter an arena with serious people and try to go toe to toe with them. Barack Hussein Obama is not a serious person, and he knows it.
While attempting to mock Mitt Romney as an out of touch, fancy pants fop, Barack Hussein Obama, laughs at the former Massachusetts’ governor’s use of the word “marvelous,” which he says is not generally used. True, except by him, as it turns out.
Amazingly, F. Chuck Todd and David “Howdy Doody” Gregory didn’t point out the glaring inconsistency between Barack’s (I’m sure that’s what they call him) criticism of the use of this word and the frequency with which it rolls off his silver tongue.
Have I mentioned lately that this man is an embarrassment? I think I have. Let me add that so are his pals at MS-NBC.
