I’m with the Revolutionary!

Yes, kiddies, I’m siding with the Revolutionary despite this report:

Florida House and Senate budget leaders have awarded Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw $1 million for a new violence prevention unit aimed at preventing tragedies like those in Newtown, Conn., and Aurora, Colo., from occurring on his turf.

His turf, mind you…

“We want people to call us if the guy down the street says he hates the government, hates the mayor and he’s gonna shoot him,” Bradshaw said. “What does it hurt to have somebody knock on a door and ask, ‘Hey, is everything OK?’ ”

Well for starters, you would have to knock on that door armed. And what would you do if no one answered the door? Go back and get a warrant, or just kick the door down with your jackboot? A armed resident could require  as many SWAT members as were necessary for the Normandy Invasion.

Hating your government shouldn’t create an Oxbow incident. It’s not as if this sheriff holds an Orb and sepulchre. Obviously, this sheriff needs some horse cents- because silence is golden. Or in this case that would be GoldenCents.

Sorry Leftists: There is No Mandate. Show Notes: The Teri O’Brien Show, 11/11/12

Thanks again to all our veterans and members of the military, past and present, and their families for their courage, sacrifice and patriotism.

Despite the chorus of leftist Obama kneepad clutchers, like the occupants of the 24/7 nuthouse at MS-NBC, and commie rag The Nation, gleefully proclaiming that last week’s election provided Barack Obama with a “mandate” for his “progressive” agenda, the truth is that a switch of a few hundred thousand votes would have produced a different result. Please don’t get me wrong. I am not trying to sugar coat what was a shellacking, nor am I trying to deny the masterful success of the Obama campaign. As we heard on the show, they understood the game and they played it fabulously. They got the opponent they wanted, and as he was bloodied during a primary, they built their “firewall” in Florida, Virginia and Ohio, then spent the spring and summer using character assassination to disqualify Mitt Romney as a cruel, greedy, plutocrat, a cross between Marie Antoinette and Gordon Geckko, only with less empathy for the “middle class.” Meanwhile, the Romney campaign not only failed to combat this caricature, but also failed to articulate a clear, compelling vision for the future of the country. That’s understandable because, as noted here, Mitt Romney is not and never has been a conservative. He could try to speak like Ronald Reagan, but unlike Reagan, he was speaking conservatism as a second language. Reagan wouldn’t have allowed Obama to get away with mouthing platitudes about the “middle class” without explaining that in Barack Obama’s vision of America as Cook County writ large, there is no middle class.  He would have gone on offense on Benghazi and on the horrific impact that Obamacare will have on our health care system. The combination of the unprecedented negativity and identity politics on steroids approach of the Obama campaign, coupled with the Romney campaign’s failure to provide an exciting alternative to voters and its inadequate “get out the vote” effort, led to a disaster for this country and for the world. That’s why he lost, NOT because of “demographics” as the geniuses on television, broadcasting from their East Coast bubble are trying to tell you. The ignorant, and agenda-driven bleating about “demographics” is leading to the inevitable demands for amnesty for 11 million illegals.

In an amazing coincidence, David Petraeus resigns after the election and only a few days before Congressional hearings on the 9/11 attack in Benghazi. Does he have a Martha Stewart problem? Is there anyone, other than the low-information children who voted for Obama, who probably think Benghazi is one of the designers that Moochelle is considering  to design her gown for the inauguration, who believes that the White House found out about this affair at 5 pm on Election Day? Seriously? Why is this affair an issue? Wasn’t it just a week or so ago that we were being told that Bill Clinton, the only elected president in the history of the U.S. ever to be impeached, and impeached for lying under oath, was the go-to guy for truth? When Bill Clinton was diddling an intern in the Oval Office, the democrats, and by that I mean elected officials and the LSM, told us that it had nothing to do with his job performance. Will Mrs. Petraeus reach out to Hillary? Who better to give her advice about a cheating husband?

How to Help

Why Mitt Lost, and Why He Didn’t: Today on the Teri O’Brien Show

One surefire sign that a theory is wrong is when it is embraced by not only NBC’s F. Chuck Todd and, David “Howdy Doody” Gregory, but also Matthew “Useful Idiot” Dowd, and Steve “Chris Matthews’ Bitch” Schmidt, the latter one of the architects of John McCain’s campaign. As previously noted here, if you look up “craven” and “loser,” you’ll discover an amazing exception to Merriam Webster’s usual policy, because Steve Schmidt’s picture appears next to both entries! This herd of independent thinkers are marching in Stalinist lockstep, reciting their explanation for why Romney lost, and as usual, they couldn’t be more wrong if they were getting their news from MS-NBC.

There are ten reasons that Mitt lost. I’ll share them, and get yours.

The behavior of the GOP leadership in the wake of their shellacking tells me that it’s time to backup the truck. What say you?

What are the implications of Barack Obama’s victory for issues important to conservatives, especially the Second Amendment? Now that he is re-elected, is he prepared to try to impose U.N.-sanctioned back door gun control on Americans?

The resignation of David Petraeus raises many interesting questions. Of course, like you, I’m quite sure that his sudden resignation right before Congressional hearings about the coverup of the murders of 4 Americans on September 11 in Benghazi is just a coincidence. I’m also certain it’s just another amazing coincidence that the Obama White House found out about the extramarital affair that led to Petraeus’ exit on Tuesday, Election Day, at 5 p.m. Why would anyone in the administration lie? It must be true.

Tune in today for the rest of the story.

The Coming Romney Victory: Show Notes, 11/4/12

Washington Post says that the Romney campaign “insults” voters. Seriously? Nearly two months after 4 Americans were murdered in Benghazi, Barack Obama and his mouthpieces continue to stonewall, saying that we must await the results of an “investigation” to find out what Barack Obama knew, when he knew it and what he did afterwards. This “investigation” routine is the same con they ran with Fast and Furious, and, just as it did in that case, it stinks to high heaven. Meanwhile, the One jets around the country screeching that “al Qaeda has been decimated and Osama bin Laden is dead,” when the truth is that al Qaeda is on the march, and their attack on our consulate in Benghazi is their greatest success in their on-going war with America in years. Note to Obama: Ray Croc is dead and McDonald’s is stronger than ever.

Marathon Pundit: Can Romney win Illinois?

Why Romney Will Win in a Landslide: Today on the Teri O’Brien Show, 11/4/12

Our friends in the Lame Steam Media are trying to convince themselves that Barack Obama’s “presidential” handling of the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, along with the effusive praise he received from Gov. Chris Christie, will push him over the finish line on Tuesday. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think that images of the One playing dress-up in a bomber jacket, and hugging a couple of storm victims before jetting off to another screech fest of silly slogans, are sufficient to cause the American public to ignore images of people in Manhattan dumpster diving, not to mention his demonstrable and pathetic performance on the issue of the economy. Unemployment is higher today than when he took office. How can this be? All Obama mouthpieces on the Sunday shows claim that they have created 5.5 million jobs, but just how many jobs have been created during Barack Obama’s tenure in office? (Hint: a lot fewer than David Plouffe, David Axelrod, and Barack Obama are telling you.)

The two biggest battleground prizes are Ohio and Florida. We’ll be joined today by experts on the ground in both of these states to help us figure out what to make of the dizzying array of polls. Jacob Larger, a contributor to one of the leading political blogs in the Buckeye State, Third Base Politics, and Sarah Rumpf, self-described over caffeinated lawyer and the publisher of Sunshine State Sarah. I want to ask her whether democrats are planting fake bombs in Winter Park, FL. I’ll ask them both if they agree with me that all the clichès repeated endlessly today by the talking heads about the presidential race being “so close,” even “tied,” so that we are in for a “late night” are not true. I plan to be sipping champagne by 11 pm Central because I’m convinced that Gov. Romney will win both Ohio, Florida, and probably Pennsylvania. Am I engaging in wishful thinking? Perhaps I’m not being optimistic enough. Is it possible that even bluer than blue Illinois could turn red? Chicago journalist/blogger Marathon Pundit will weigh in on that, and tell us about the invitation he got from the Obama campaign to attend and “election night” (not “victory”) party.

Regardless of who gets its 20 electoral votes, Barack Obama’s home state Illinois is Exhibit A for those who want to see the results of liberal democrat, big government, tax-and-spend policies. For the last three decades, Illinois has been controlled by Mike Madigan, who has been Speaker of the House for 27 of the last 29 years, and who is also Chairman of the Illinois democrat party. Any hope of changing things in this state starts with changing the people in Springfield, and not electing any more foot soldiers for Mike Madigan’s army. Dr. Barbara Bellar, candidate for the Illinois State Senate, is one courageous citizen who hopes to do that. She’ll join us to respond to her opponent’s recent accusations that she has inflated her resume, and explain what a lawsuit over strip searches in the Cook County Sheriff’s Office filed in 2007 has to do with her opponent’s qualification for office.

Not only are Barack Obama’s policies are failure at home. Nearly 2 months ago, Ambassador Stevens and 3 other brave Americans were murdered in Benghazi, and we still don’t have the answers to at least two critical questions: (1) what did the president know and (2) when did he know it? Will this issue have any impact on Tuesday’s election?

Tune in today for the rest of the story.

The Softer Side of Mitt: What Say You?

For the last several months, the talking heads in the Lame Stream Media have been pointing out that Mitt Romney isn’t a touchy-feely guy, which they say, hurts him with women voters.

Over the weekend, Mitt showed his softer side.

From today’s New York Post:

Mitt Romney’s post-debate surge appears to have all but wiped out President Obama’s once double-digit lead among women voters.

A new Pew Research Center survey depicted a remarkable swing in the numbers, with Romney pulling even among women in polling late last week. In September, the same polling outfit showed Obama leading by 18 points among women.

Coincidence?
