New York Times “Uncovers” Evil GOP Super PAC plot to “Smear” and “Dehumanize” Barack Obama by Connecting Him to the Man Who Baptized His Children

Several weeks ago, the several dozen people watching Rev. Al Sharpton’s unintentionally hilarious show on the 24/7 nuthouse, MS-NBC, would have thought that Trayvon Martin’s parents had become co-hosts of the show. Now that the whole “racist, profiling, trigger-happy white Hispanic” fairy tale has completely unraveled, Al was heard asking “Trayvon Who?” He has moved on to another racially-charged bombshell, exposed this morning on the front page of the Liberal Death Star aka The New York Times; specifically, the sickening scheme by anti-Obama political operatives, funded by one of those scumbag rich guys, to actually–forgive me, I’m having a hard time writing because it’s hard for me to even think about something so ugly–connect Barack Obama to the man who performed his marriage ceremony and baptized his children!! How low will these people go to try to destroy, or as Rev. Al said on his program this evening “dehumanize” this man?

(Video below)

The Lame Stream Media-Chicago axis of evil is up to its old tricks. Just as we described here and here, yet again they are resorting to threats, Intimidation and lies to silence anyone who dares to criticize the One.

All of what is described above is completely predictable. What I find interesting is the answer to the question “Who leaked this plan to the New York Times?” It pains me to say that the answer is painfully, and I do mean painful, if you are a Republican, obvious. The giveaway is this line from the NY Times’ story:

Timed to upend the Democratic National Convention in September, the plan would “do exactly what John McCain would not let us do,” the strategists wrote.

So, it’s clear that the leaker is someone eager to deflect blame for what was laughably called the McCain “campaign.” Think Steve Schmidt, Nicole Wallace or another one of the brilliant minds who paved the way for Barack Obama to begin occupying the Oval Office. If possible, these McCain campaign consultants are more obsessed with Sarah Palin than Chris Matthews is, and they have spent the last 3+ years trying to get the stink of defeat off their sorry hides. It’s not a feel good for me to say that a Republican leaked this information, but, as I noted above, it’s very clear to me that that’s what happened.

Is it just me, or does anyone else see the irony of Mr. Ricketts, owner of the Chicago Cubs, adopting John McCain’s unwillingness to raise the issue of Rev. Wright’s hate speech? After all, aren’t the Cubs often described as “lovable losers?”

Race to the Bottom: Today on the Teri O’Brien Show, 5/6/12

It wasn’t until a couple of months ago that I realized that, like George Zimmerman, because of my heritage, I might actually be a “white Hispanic,” which is interesting, since after the election of the transformational, historic Barack Obama, we were supposed be living in that long-awaited post-racial paradise. Is it my imagination, or is the issue of race more divisive and destructive than any time in the last 50 years?  MMM …could it be that the reason the realization of a color-blind society is so difficult is that so many benefit from convincing black Americans that they are victims who need to be rescued by a benevolent government?

We’ll ask our special guest is Harry Stein, author of How I Accidentally Joined the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy: (and Found Inner Peace). He has a new book, No Matter What…They’ll Call This Book Racist: How our Fear of Talking Honestly About Race Hurts Us All.

As many of you know, I was recently called a “birther” and an “idiot” who “misreads” the Constitution, and not by a liberal, but rather by a supposed fellow conservative (but not a fellow attorney), as you can see if you go to the referenced thread) for raising the question of whether Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal and Nikki Haley are eligible to run for president because they are not Article II “Natural Born Citizens.” No worries. I’ve been called worse than that, and Alinskyite name-calling won’t stop me from defending the Constitution. And, you may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. In addition to our good friend and repeating guest Van Irion of Liberty Legal Foundation, who has filed challenges to Obama’s eligibility in Georgia, Tennessee and Arizona, all of which are still pending at various levels. New Jersey attorney Mario Apuzzo has been pursuing the issue of the One’s eligibility in his state courts. He’ll be our guest today, and he’ll tell us about the stunning, and frankly inexplicable, recent ruling in his litigation, and tell us where it goes from here.

With exactly 6 months until election day, Barack Obama officially “shifted into campaign mode,” as one unintentionally hilarious headline put it, yesterday with rallies in Columbus, Ohio and Richmond, Virginia. In addition to the latest in a series of ineffective slogans, “Forward,” they’ve recycled their “fired up and ready to go” mantra from 2008. Unfortunately for the Obama campaign, it’s no longer 2008 and it seems that even they are beginning to realize it. If yesterday’s speeches are any indication of what the next six months hold for us, he intends to continue criss-crossing the country at taxpayer expense, with his repellant wife in tow, whipping audiences of naive youngsters into an emotional frenzy. As for “ready to go,” these performances left some, like this observer, ready to go, go deaf, that is. Demagogues, unable to persuade their audiences with reasoned arguments, screech, sloganeer and slander those who challenge them.

Nerd Prom Review: The White House Correspondents’ Dinner Unpacked Today on the Teri O’Brien Show

This week we’ll unpack last night’s “nerd prom,” the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner where the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian and George Clooney rubbed elbows with their fellow democrats, both elected and unelected, the latter sometimes called “journalists,” as well as few specimens of that rare species, Republicans.  As my Twitter followers know, Barack Obama’s routine was painfully predictable, but you might be pretty surprised at some of the jokes the evening’s headliner, Jimmy Kimmel, told about the One.

Our guest, professional comedian and all-around funny guy Tim Slagle, will join us to give us his critique of both Barack Obama’s and Mr. Kimmel’s performances, and share a few of his insights about the issues of the day.

Of course, we’ll talk about Campaign 2012. The Romney campaign almost certainly must be quaking in its boots now that Team Obama has unleashed one of its most powerful weapon, Joe “Three Letter Word Jobs” Biden. Apparently, his latest area of expertise is foreign policy, and if you can think of a better spokesman for the Obama administration on that subject, I’d like to know who it is. After all, for twenty five years, Joe Biden has been consistently wrong on every single foreign policy issue that has been important to our national security. As the Obama administration continues to audition slogan after slogan, it occurs to me that “consistently wrong” seems like a pretty good fit.

Now that Reuters has reported that George Zimmerman has “black roots,” how will that affect the Lame Stream Media narrative about his alleged “racial profiling?” Does this random act of journalism by Reuters have anything to do with the sudden reticence Al Sharpton to talk about the case? Do Rev. Al and his fellow race baiters have any complicity in several brutal violent attacks, in which the perps alleged that they acted because they were seeking “justice for Trayvon?”

We’ll have an update on the status of the litigation on the issue of Barack Obama’s ineligibility to be president because he is not an Article II “natural born citizen.”

Tune in today for the rest of the story.

Dershowitz: Zimmerman Prosecution Not Only Unethical, but Stupid

As noted here in a previous post (with video), Alan Dershowitz doesn’t think much of the prosecution’s case against George Zimmerman. After today’s release of the exclusive ABC photo, showing rivers of blood on the back of Mr. Zimmerman’s head, Dershowitz blasted the state for what appears to be a failure to disclose exculpatory evidence to the defense, which indeed would be unethical, saying:

“I’ve had cases in Florida against prosecutors,” Dershowitz said, “and this is not the first time they have willfully omitted exculpatory evidence. It’s a continuing problem. Here, it’s not only immoral, but stupid. The whole country is watching. What do they benefit from having half-truths in an affidavit?”

Dershowitz added, “I’m not taking sides, but I’m insisting that both sides play by the rules, and so far the prosecution is not playing by the rules.”

During his close at this morning’s bail hearing, in his statement opposing it, prosecutor Bernado De La Rionada referred to Trayvon Martin as “an innocent young man.” He then said, referring to Zimmerman, that he has “committed violent crimes,” something the judge completely dismissed as “run of the mill run-in” college mischief, and, most important, and said Zimmerman “obviously committed this crime.” I guess since the prosecutor knows that, there’s no reason to even have the trial.

Zimmerman Bail Hearing: State Had Better Have More Than They Showed Us Here

And, of course they do. They don’t want to show all their cards here. They are anticipating the Main Event, which is not the actual trial, but the hearing on justifiable homicide, commonly known as the “Stand Your Ground” hearing. If the defense is successful with that affirmative defense, game over. So, while the prosecution did fight Zimmerman’s request for bail, it not fight so hard that it would have to show all of its evidence.

There were a few interesting aspects to this hearing, specifically:

(1) The fact that the motion for bail was granted might lead some believe that the prosecution will not be able to meet its burden of proof at trial by demonstrating Zimmerman’s guilt “beyond a reasonable doubt.” It may surprise many to learn that, in Florida, the burden the prosecution must meet in a bail hearing is actually HIGHER than the burden at trial. From TalkLeft, the blog of criminal defense attorney Jeralyn E. Merritt:

In Florida, to establish that “proof of guilt is evident” and the “presumption is great,” the state’s burden is aptly described in the 2011 ruling in State v. Wyche:

It “is actually a greater degree of proof than that which is required to establish guilt merely to the exclusion of a reasonable doubt.” … Even when the prosecution’s evidence is sufficient to convict on a capital or life offense, but there is some doubt arising from other evidence, contradictions, or discrepancies, this exacting standard is not met and the accused is entitled to reasonable bail.

Thus a Florida defendant charged with a crime punishable by death or life imprisonment has a substantive constitutional entitlement to bail unless the prosecution can show that proof of his guilt is evident or presumption of his guilt great, i.e., unless the prosecution can, at a pretrial hearing, establish the defendant’s culpability to a standard higher even than that required for a sustainable conviction at trial. (my emphasis.)

So the grant of bail was unsurprising. The Florida constitution makes it practically mandatory in a case where the defendant has substantial ties to the community, no serious prior offenses, and who has turned himself in when requested to do so by law enforcement.

(2) Apparently some of the lynch mob that gathered in response to the fine efforts of Al Sharpton and other race hucksters are upset about the amount of the bail. Their outrage is unwarranted. The reason that the defense had Zimmerman’s parents testify about their limited means is because once it is determined that bail must be granted for the reasons stated in the previous paragraph, the amount must be within the means of the defendant.

(3) The defense decision to put George Zimmerman on the stand was quite risky, and I’m not sure it was justified. The statement he made to the family about his sorrow for their loss doesn’t justify the chance that he might say something that would bite him on the butt come the actual trial. His attorney was successful at limiting the scope of cross-examination, and nothing bad for the defense happened, so I guess Mr. O’Mara knows what he’s doing.

(4) Speaking of that, Mr. O’Mara got Dale Gilbreath, one of the state’s investigators to admit, that despite the very declarative and pointed wording of the probable cause affidavit, the state has no evidence about who started the fight. He also admitted that there was no evidence that Zimmerman’s story of walking back to the car after following Trayvon Martin is not true. Obviously, these admissions are very significant.

(5) During their cross-examination of Zimmerman, the prosecutor Bernado De La Rionada mentioned that  Zimmerman had surrendered his phone to the police, and that they had copied its contents. He then asked some intriguing questions about that, alluding to text messages, specifically, whether Zimmerman had texted anything about a “reverend” or Trayvon’s father. It’s not clear when the phone was surrendered, but these questions were quite intriguing. Stay tuned.

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz: Trayvon Martin Affidavit So Thin It Won’t Make It Past a Decent Judge (Headline Corrected)

Yesterday Harvard Law professor and liberal icon Alan Dershowitz appeared on MS-NBC’s Hardball, and declared that the case by the Trayvon Martin special prosecutor Angela Corey is not only weak because it is completely consistent with a claim of self-defense. It is unethical because it omits exculpatory evidence favorable to George Zimmerman. Clearly Dershowitz is disgusted by what he thinks is a politically-motivated over-charging by a grandstanding prosecutor.

Dershowitz also asked why all the records are sealed in this chase, and speculated that perhaps the prosecutor is in the process of making a deal with the defense. He’s probably correct, and the crime is probably going to be negligent homicide, or whatever the equivalent is in Florida.

Things that piss me off about the Trayvon Martin case.

First of all, I’m sick of the lynch mob run by Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the other professional race pimps. What do they want, a return to the bad old days of mob rule? Of all people, black people in the south should oppose that. And, it distresses me to see that the only time these leeches are bothered by young black males being murdered is when they are murdered by people other than young black males (about .00000000001% of the time.)

Secondly, I’m sick of the people who think George Zimmerman is the most innocent person in the world. “He was just defending himself”. “Trayvon Martin was beating him up” yammer yammer yammer. Zimmerman was punking Martin because Martin is black and looked like a burglar — to Zimmerman! The goofball then calls 911. Hey, where I come from you call 911 in an emergency, not because someone you think looks suspicious is walking down the street. For Cris’sake, is someone going to call 911 because they think I look dangerous when I’m walking my freakin’ pit bull at night? Is someone going to call 911 if I forget my poop bag? In my opinion, Zimmerman deserved to get his ass kicked, and who’s to say that Trayvon Martin didn’t think that he needed to defend himself against a total stranger who was following him around for no reason?

Third, I’m really sick and tired of shoddy police work. Were Martin and Zimmerman tested for the presence of drugs or alchohol? Was Martin tested for powder burns, which, if not present, would disprove Zimmerman’s version of events. Also, Zimmerman is reported to have said that Trayvon Martin was grabbing for his gun. Was the gun tested for Martin’s prints? Had Zimmerman pulled the gun out before Martin grabbed for it? And by the way. have the voices on the 911 tapes been analyzed? I heard two different tapes with two different voices, and they were distinctly different. (I also read of a witness who also said she heard two different voices.) To me, it seems like the police basically did a half-assed job. When lethal force is used, the survivor’s version of events MUST ALWAYS BE VIEWED WITH SKEPTICISM! Otherwise, we are giving people a license to kill (just make sure there are no witnesses to contradict your testimony.

Now that a special prosecutor has been appointed, and a real investigation is being carried out. we should be able to get as close to the truth as is humanly possible. I don’t know what the truth is, but I do know this: Trayvon Martin is dead because some idiot shot him. And the idiot’s role should not be disregarded. Perhaps George Zimmerman really is torn apart with sadness and remorse over this incident, in which case he should be pitied, but certainly not lionized.

What They Aren’t Telling You About the Trayvon Martin Case, Show Notes, The Teri O’Brien Show, 3/25/12

Even if the parallels with the Duke Lacrosse Case were not screaming at everyone to slow down and learn what really happened on the night Trayvon Martin was shot before demanding the immediate drawing and quartering of George Zimmerman, there’s another huge red flag that should make everyone want to slow down. Two words: Al Sharpton. Whenever this race huckster shows up, you know something fishy is up. That didn’t stop Barack Hussein Obama from insinuating himself into what his administration had previously considered a local matter, blowing a race-based dog whistle, signaling to Rev. Al, Jesse Jackson and the rest of the race baiters that he’s with them. That doesn’t mean he’ll show up at Rev. Al’s planned Race Symposium. Obama says “we all need to do some soul searching.” Really? I don’t think so. I’m not the one who supported infanticide, and who leads the most lawless administration in history. The head of gangsta government is the one who needs to do some soul searching. Speaking of which, do any of the rappers he and the First Klingon love to party with at the White House, and who celebrate drugs and misogyny need to do any soul searching, Sir?

What did Trayvon Martin’s father say about the cries for help on the 911 tape. (Hint: he’s saying something different these days.)

Our guest, Michael Patrick Leahy, one of the founders of the Tea Party and author of the terrific and fascinating political history, Covenant of Liberty: The Ideological Origins of the Tea Party, weighed in on the presidential race and the Supreme Court’s deliberations on Obamacare.

David Plouffe is this week’s designated Obama shill. He appeared on several Sunday shows, on several occasions demonstrating his amazing ability to avoid answering a simple “yes or no” question. Listen to this exchange:

I want to show you a graph that was put up in the New York Times. Let’s take a look at it. Under the Ryan budget, the deficit — the Ryan budget, the deficit in 2016 is $241 billion. Under the Obama plan, it’s $529 billion. Under Ryan, added debt over the next 10 years is $3.1 trillion. Under Obama, it’s $6.4 trillion.

And the Ryan plan balances the budget by 2040. The Obama plan balances the budget never.

As promised, here’s the chart.

The Critiquelator was on FIRE, describing the most obnoxious part of Obama’s narcissistic remarks about the Trayvon Martin incident.

This woman claims to be a breast cancer survivor and believes that under Obamacare, Americans will have more choice about their health care, and that young people will pay less than $250 a month in health care premiums. This video is reminiscent of the film made by John Ziegler, who appeared on the Teri O’Brien Show one year ago tomorrow.

Orlando Sentinel Reports: Trayvon Was the Aggressor

CNN is reporting that three out of four Americans that they surveyed think that George Zimmerman should be arrested. That’s surprising. Given the media narrative about this incident, I would have figured that four out of four demand that he be lynched. I wonder if any of the people screaming for Zimmerman’s head would change their opinions if they knew the facts that are emerging about what really happened on February 26. On yesterday’s show, we played you the audio of a local news report about the incident. The reporter stated that Trayvon Martin’s father told the lead investigator that, in his opinion, the cries for help heard on the 911 tape were NOT his son’s. Now, there’s more evidence suggesting that Mr. Zimmerman did act in self-defense. From the Los Angeles Times:

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that police sources say Martin was the aggressor on Feb. 26, knocking Zimmerman to the ground with a single punch and then climbing on top of the 28-year-old neighborhood watch captain and slamming the back of his head into the ground. Police say this account, given by Zimmerman, is supported by eyewitnesses, according to the Sentinel’s report.

One such witness reportedly told police that he saw Martin on top of Zimmerman, striking the man, while Zimmerman cried out for help. The attack left Zimmerman bloodied, police sources told the Sentinel, and led him to fire at Martin in self-defense.

For the last two weeks, the Lame Stream Media narrative has repeated the Official Story: that Trayvon Martin was an exemplary, promising young person, gunned down by a crazed racist “white Hispanic.” They illustrate their fairy tale with photos of a smiling, angelic boy, an image that contrasts sharply with the picture of George Zimmerman that they use, in which we see a clod with a clueless expression, who appears to be ready to head to jail in an orange jumpsuit. But wait . . .

The Sentinel’s story also makes public new details about the circumstances leading up to the deadly confrontation between Zimmerman and Martin.

At the time, Martin was suspended from high school after he was found to be in possession of an empty marijuana baggie, according to the Sentinel. Martin’s school has a “zero-tolerance” drug policy, the newspaper added.

Suspended from school? Empty marijuana baggie? How can this be? I didn’t see anything about this part of the story on Al Sharpton’s show. Are we sure it was just an empty bag of Skittles? I wonder if he’ll mention it at the “race summit” he’s planning and hoping that Barack Obama will attend. If Barack doesn’t show, and he won’t, maybe he’ll send Eric Holder, who may be a lot of things, but definitely is not a “coward” when it comes to playing the race card.
