If Barack Obama loves “infrastructure” so much, why has he stopped the Keystone XLPipeline for over 4 years? High-paying jobs? Economic growth? U.S. energy independence? I guess writing that list I can see why Obama’s against it.
How will it be possible to enforce those infinitely reasonable “universal background checks” without gun registration? Hasn’t history shown that registration is a prelude to confiscation? (Answer: yes, and the democrats, including Obama, have admitted it. See this post for more. Warning: it’s chilling.)
Before last week’s State of the Union speech, weren’t we told that Barack Obama was going to “pivot” back to jobs? Why is that necessary if the administration has been doing the great job of facilitating job creation that they told us about before the election? Didn’t he say in June that “the private sector is doing fine?”
Could the fact that there are 3.2 million fewer jobsin our economy than there were in December 2007 have anything to do with that need for the One’s umpteenth “pivot” back to jobs?
The Obama administration’s latest effort to exploit the murder of 20 first-graders in December, and to create a wedge issue that will appeal to “The View” and “Ellen” audience, as in suburban women who are unfamiliar with, and therefore terrified of firearms, in the 2014 elections, appears to be focused on the “infinitely reasonable” idea of requiring “universal background checks” for gun purchases. Who could be against that? I submit that any freedom-loving American who appreciates the genius of our Founding Fathers not only could be, but should be, opposed to this idea.
Think about it. How is it possible to enforce “universal background checks” without gun registration? It’s not possible, and that is blatantly obvious. Historically, gun registration has been a prelude to gun confiscation, which is what Obama and his merry band of Marxists have wanted for decades. If that fact doesn’t persuade you, then the fact that Barack Obama, who has despised the 2nd Amendment and worked to destroy it during his entire adult life, is telling us how “reasonable” universal background checks are should. Still not convinced? How about this evidence? The Obama (In)justice Department has admitted it. Check out this excellent video from the NRA.

which, of course is a prelude to confiscation. I defy anyone to explain how this “universal registration” that supposedly has 90% support among the public will work without gun registration. And registration is simply the first step to the Left’s ultimate goal. an Australian-style confiscation. Here’s Joe about an hour ago stating the obvious, albeit accidentally.
Last summer on his $100 million family tour of Africa, Barack Obama hoped for a priceless photo op with Nelson Mandela, the ailing freedom pioneer who went from prison cell to the presidency of South Africa in one of modern history's more remarkable national -- and personal -- transformations.
Mandela's family suggested that wasn't going to happen.
So, the Obamas did a photo op in Mandela's former prison cell. The Obama White House hastened to post one of those on Twitter Thursday as soon as word arrived of the icon's passing at 95.
Obama immediately scheduled a photo op of his own in time for the evening news. But before that he was captured in an action photograph staring at television coverage of the passing of the vaunted victor over apartheid.
From Illinois Review: "The Illinois Conservatives started as just a Facebook group in 2008, founded by then-18-year-old Zach Oltmanns, to act as a forum for conservatives across the state to discuss various races and policies.
Five years later, the Facebook group still exists and operates with the same function, but it has ballooned in membership to more than 3,000. The group’s leadership team also endorsed numerous candidates in the 2010 and 2012 election cycles, with Oltmanns and others lending a hand to candidates and speaking on behalf of the group at events around the state.
Now, the group that started online with heavy youth involvement, is taking another, major step forward. The Illinois Conservatives group announced Monday it is becoming a state PAC, effective immediately, in order to better help conservative candidates in statewide races with grassroots support. "

The TelePrompTer challenged Al Sharpton, current host of a ridiculous show on the 24/7 televised insane asylum, MS-NBC, was their go-to guy yesterday during their wall-to-wall coverage of the death of Nelson Mandela, and you can see why, can't you? If you could find a better guy than him to celebrate Mandela, whose legacy is widely believed to be the healing of racial tension, reconciliation, and forgiveness, I'd like to see him.
