Top Ten Things Barack Obama Was Doing During the Benghazi Attack

After Sec. of Defense Leon Panetta and Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, testified last Thursday before the Senate Armed Services Committee, at least two things are very clear; specifically, Barack Obama and his minions lied to everyone about this attack that resulted in the murder of 4 Americans, not only about the cause, which was never a moronic YouTube video that no one saw, but more importantly, about his constantly monitoring the situation “well into the night.” Recall David Axelrod’s statement to Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday, two days before the election:
“Chris, as I said, immediately when word of the attack came, the president was meeting with his top national security folks. He was talking to them well into the night. He was in touch with them during the day, as – during the next day as well. So, there is no question about the fact that he was focused on this.”
Now, unless Panetta was lying to Sen. Kelly Ayote and Sen. Lindsay Graham, we know that Axelrod’s statement was a complete, unabashed lie. I’ll leave it to you to decide. Who do you think was more likely to lie? Obama’s sleazy Chicago campaign operative two days before an election, or the retiring Sec. Def Panetta? The answer is obvious.
Less obvious is the answer to the question “where was Barack Obama during the 8 hours of the attack?” We know that he jetted off to Nevada for a campaign speech the next day. But what about the time between the pre-scheduled 30-minute meeting he had with Panetta and Dempsey at 5:00 pm Eastern and the next day when he did the vanishing act to Vegas Baby!
I suspect that Sen. Graham is going to get to the bottom of this mess, but until he does, let me present some possibilities about what our wondrous Dear Reader may have been doing while heroic Americans, who had warned Washington about the danger in Libya, and had begged for more security, were dying at the hands of jihadists.
  1. Checking hours that the Liberace Museum is open
  2. Asking Michelle’s permission to play Keno
  3. Calling Reggie Love for consultation on which swimming trunks to pack
  4. Making sure someone was prepared to walk Bo while he was away
  5. Making sure someone was prepared to walk Biden while he was away
  6. Picking out kill targets for future drone strikes
  7. Practicing his on-off “Negro” dialect to impress Harry Reid with his gift
  8. Going over the video story with Hilary, Axelrod and Susan Rice
  9. Reassuring Susan Rice that if she was able to make this video story fly, she would be the next Sec.of State
  10. Reassuring John F. Kerry that he would be the next Secretary of State after he threw Susan Rice under the bus when the whole video story blew up
It will interesting to see if any of the fearless truth seekers in the LSM show the slightest desire to reconcile the many inconsistent and shifting stories of Obama and his apparatchiks. No, I’m not holding my breath.

OMG! My Fears Realized! Jackass Obama Occupies My TV

As I predicted on yesterday’s edition of The Teri O’Brien Show, B. Hussein would find some way to get in our faces so that he can try to make political hay out of the mess he and his friends in the Senate have made of our disastrous fiscal condition and the looming “fiscal cliff. There he is, blathering on about a “balanced approach,” and “shared sacrifice.” Gee, I wonder if that applies to Moochelle’s vacation schedule? At least he didn’t show up during the football game last night.

Of course he’s got the requisite “middle class” human props surrounding him, no doubt members of the National Education Association who received a text alert to get down there STAT to provide the right back drop.

Keep in mind, no deal is done to avoid the cliff, but our Sham WOW (Walks on Water) Dear Reader apparently is so arrogant that he doesn’t fear queering the deal (can I still say that?) by publicly pressuring the Republicans with this little dog and pony show. He doesn’t care because he’s all about fixing the blame, not fixing the problem. If no deal is reached, he’s teed up the GOP nicely for blame so that he’s Lame Stream Media pals can knock them out of the park. Sweet! It’s good to be the king.

Let me say it at least one more time before the year ends. What an embarrassment this jug-eared braying jackass is!

Obama Campaign’s Desperation Strategy: Insult Your Intelligence

The Obama campaign’s desperation has driven them to resort to stunningly outrageous lies, lies so ridiculous that the only explanation is that they believe that you are dumber than a box of rocks. Actually, I think they are suing in Ohio for voting rights for boxes of rocks. Someone called me and told me that, a very credible source.

Submitted for your consideration:

Mitt Romney Paid $3M in Federal Taxes in 2010, GE Paid ZERO

Even though he was allegedly a “lifelong Republican,”back in January 2011, Barack Obama selected General Electric’s CEO Jeffrey Immelt to head his Jobs Council. I’m not sure I’d put that credential on the resume, big fella. Mr. Immelt has been called Obama’s Pet CEO. Perhaps that’s why Mr. Obama has refrained from demagoguery about the fact that for the last two years, GE has paid ZERO in federal taxes. This isn’t something I heard from one of Harry Reid’s imaginary friends. From ABC News:

For those unaccustomed to the loopholes and shelters of the corporate tax code, GE’s success at avoiding taxes is nothing short of extraordinary. The company, led by Immelt, earned $14.2 billion in profits in 2010, but it paid not a penny in taxes because the bulk of those profits, some $9 billion, were offshore. In fact, GE got a $3.2 billion tax benefit. …

2010 was the second year in a row that GE recorded billions in profits and paid no taxes.

During that same period, Immelt has been a close advisor to the president on the business community, a relationship that rubs some the wrong way. Immelt serves as the chairman of Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.

Despite Harry Reid’s recent debasing of the U.S. Senate by using it as forum to tell politcally-motivated lies, facts are facts. It is a lie to say that Mitt Romney has paid no taxes for ten years. For example, in 2010, he paid $3 million in federal income taxes, plus another million or so applied to estimated taxes for 2011.

Harry Reid is a Dirt Bag

Having nothing to lose, Sen. Reid is acting in the role of suicide bomber here. He has made a horse’s hind end of himself so often that he doesn’t care about looking like a fool, and he has already stolen enough to be set for life. He’s taken care of his sons as well.

From Nice Deb:

Reportedly, Harry Reid is using the power of his office as the Senate Majority Leader to harass Nevada Energy (NV Energy) the main supplier of power for the state in order to help a Chinese “green energy” client of his son, Rory’s law firm. The Chinese company, ENN Mojave Energy LLC is planning a billion-dollar solar energy manufacturing and generating plant in the state, while Reid is trying to strong arm NV Energy into buying their overpriced product.

Because they are treacherous Democrats neither Dingy Harry nor Emaciated Rory Reid feel the slightest hesitation to help a Communist country destroy an American company, even one in their own home state.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reported on Reid’s history of “beating up” on NV energy:

In the closing days of the George W. Bush administration, Reid blocked plans to build coal-fired power plants in Nevada. He said in April on the “Nevada Newsmakers” show, “I don’t think NV Energy has done enough to allow renewable energy to thrive.” …

To sum up, Harry Reid has blocked plans for an American company to produce less expensive power and create American jobs, while promoting a Communist Chinese company which will raise everyone’s utility costs, and benefit his son financially.

I suggest that you read the whole post. It’s well worth your time.

To summarize, Mitt Romney has paid millions of dollars in federal income taxes over the last two years. The company run by Obama pal, GE, paid ZERO for those same years. Yet, all every democrat Obama surrogate on this past weekend’s Sunday morning political shows, and since then, wants to talk about is the “fact” that Mitt Romney hasn’t paid any taxes for ten years, which apparently everybody knows is true because we’ve been told by the poster child for unethical behavior, Harry Reid.

From “When Did You Stop Beating Your Wife?” to “Why Did You Murder My Wife?”

This past weekend, even their allies in the Lame Stream Media appeared astounded that the One and his campaign would resort to an unsubstantiated “when did you stop beating your wife” line of attack. CBS’ Bob Scheiffer suggested it reminded him of Joe McCarthy’s accusations, and called it “a little thin.”

Surprise, my media friends. That “hope and change” yip-yap was just the air freshener temporarily covering up the putrid stench of typical Chicago-style politics, and it’s worn off. You may want to get some Vicks Vapo-rub to put under your nostrils because it reeks, and they’re just getting warmed up. Just today, the super PAC run by snotty former Obama deputy press secretary Bill Burton unveiled an ad blaming Mitt Romney for the death of the wife of a former steel worker. From the New York Daily News:

The Priorities USA Action ad features an interview with Joe Soptic, who worked at a steel plant acquired in 1993 by Romney’s former private equity firm Bain Capital.

GST Steel declared bankruptcy and shuttered its Kansas City, Mo.-based plant in 2001 – two years after Romney says he turned over managerial control of Bain. …

Ads run by super PACs are typically harsher than the candidates’ own campaign ads, although the Priorities USA ad called “Understands” is turning heads even by those standards.

Also, according to a Politico report, the woman didn’t die until 2006 – years after the plant shut down and near the end of Romney’s tenure as governor of Massachusetts. (emphasis mine)

So the timing might be a teensy weensy bit off. Mitt Romney is accused of killing a woman five years after he had any involvement with the company that owned the plant, GST. Oh wait …it’s not just the timing. CNN is reporting that even after the plant closed, Mr. Soptic’s wife had health insurance through her employer. Are you sitting down? The whole story is a demagogic lie, exploiting a sad story to advance Obama’s political fortunes. Do you need to take a shower yet?

(For more about the absurdity of this whole Joe Soptic yarn, please check out this post from The Conservative Review, Tuesday’s “Post of the Day,” which points out the when GST actually closed, Obama bundler Jonathan Lavine was running the company, and suggests that perhaps Mr.Soptic himself might have been a little more proactive about his wife’s health.)

Obama’s apparatchiks and their behavior is an insulting embarrassment, but not a surprise to those of us familiar with the Axelrod playbook

None of the members of Obama campaign, not the ones officially on the payroll, or the “journalists” who are desperately trying to save his sinking re-election effort, are serious people. Sadly for them, we are, and insulting our intelligence is not a winning strategy.

Corruption, Crony Capitalism and Obama’s Crypto-Communism: Today on the Teri O’Brien Show

Today we focus on corruption, crony capitalism and the redistributionist policies of Obama and his merry band of Marxists. Since the Jurassic media shows no interest in investigating and reporting on the lawlessness of the Obama administration, we’re fortunate to have the tireless fighters of government corruption and secrecy,  at Judicial Watch, who are always at the tip of the spear in the fight. Christopher Farrell, Judicial Watch’s Director of Research and Investigation, will join us to tell us the latest about their terrific work, including the New Black Panther Party case. Why would Eric Holder’s Justice Department dismiss a slam dunk voter intimidation case against these racist thugs? Are the denials about the involvement of higher-ups in the decision true? In addition, we’ll ask Mr. Farrell about Judicial Watch’s exposure of your tax dollars being funneled into the coffers of another racist bunch of “community organizers,” La Raza. What does Obama crony Cecilia Muños have to do with throwing money down that rathole? Incidentally, Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch has written a new fabulous book, The Corruption Chronicles: Obama’s Big Secrecy, Big Corruption and Big Government, which you should definitely check out.

Meanwhile, a senior citizen, who appears to be certifiably insane and who may or may not be the Senate Majority Leader, takes to the Senate floor to share fairy tales about his imaginary friends and their gossip about Mitt Romney’s tax returns. Could they be rationing psych meds already? I didn’t think Obamacare fully kicked in until 2014! Or perhaps there’s another explanation. This geezer and his friends Mr. Axelrod and Mr. Plouffe have realized that, for all the advantages they saw in him as an opponent (Bain Capital, his dog, his wife’s horse), Mr. Romney’s candidacy also presents an inconvenient and perhaps insurmountable obstacle to their re-election plans: he’s not divorced. That fact renders the only play in their book, “Smear the Opponent” worthless, unless they can find another way to run it. It’s that reality that is inspiring the old man to further embarrass himself.

While many thought it, entrepreneur Ray Gaster said it, on the sign outside his Savannah, Georgia lumberyard. He’ll join us to tell us why he thought this public rebuke was the right response to Barack Obama’s infamous “you didn’t build that” remark, and why he thinks it is appropriate to use such colorful “Chicago style” language when doing so.

Tune in today for the rest of the story.

Democrats and Their Imaginary Friends, Part 7487: Harry Reid Says Some Guy Told Him Mitt Paid Zero Taxes

As I have often noted, democrats have a long history of creating imaginary friends. From John Edwards’ “Loretta,” to Chuck Schumer’s “Baileys,” to the Obama campaign’s cartoon “Julia,” they seem to have an endless supply. Their constant resort to fake people isn’t just amusing. It’s essential. The policies they advocate are at war with reality and common sense, so they must concoct fairy tales in which they actually work, and which help them further their political objectives.

The latest example comes from the clown Sen. Harry Reid, he of “on-off Negro” dialect fame. Apparently determined to outdo Sen. Dick Durbin in the category “Biggest National Embarrassment by a U.S. Senator,” he has discovered another imaginary friend, several actually. This latest incident isn’t the first time Sen. Reid has told us a story about an imaginary friend. Remember Devon, the 10-year-old who wanted to gr From the Las Vegas Review-Journal:

In an interview published Tuesday, Reid said an investor in Bain Capital, the former private equity firm of the Republican presidential candidate, told him in a phone call that Romney had paid zero taxes.

“Now, do I know that that’s true? Well, I’m not certain,” Reid told the Huffington Post, declining to identify his source. “But obviously he can’t release those tax returns. How would it look?”

He’s not sure it’s true, but why not say it? Sort of like ABC “News” employees Brian Ross and George Stephanapolous speculating about the identity of the Aurora Colorado shooter’s membership in the Tea Party, while admitting that they didn’t know whether what they were saying was true, slandering a law-abiding citizen in the process. Senator Reid wasn’t finished. Yesterday, he continued:

On Wednesday, Reid stuck to his story, and broadened it.

“I am not basing this on some figment of my imagination,” Reid said in a telephone call with Nevada reporters. “I have had a number of people tell me that.”

Asked to elaborate on his sources, Reid declined. “No, that’s the best you’re going to get from me.”

“I don’t think the burden should be on me,” Reid said. “The burden should be on him. He’s the one I’ve alleged has not paid any taxes. Why didn’t he release his tax returns?”

You’re absolutely right, Senator Reid, and that reminds me of something. Someone called me and told me that you like to have sex with little boys in the shower at the Capitol gym. A number of people have told me that. I don’t have to say who called me. Why should the burden be on me? You’re the one I’ve alleged is a pedophile, so isn’t the burden on you to prove that you aren’t?

The desperation of this bunch gets more apparent with every passing day, and this embarrassing performance by this fool is only the latest example.

One more thing, though, Sen. Reid: since you famously told us that paying taxes is “voluntary,” does it really matter how much Gov. Romney paid, if anything?

Barack of a Thousand Days: More Contempt for the Law on Display

I wonder if Barack Obama will mention this interesting little factoid during his performance tonight. From Investor’s Business Daily:

The last time the Democratic-controlled U.S. Senate passed a budget was April 29, 2009 — 1,000 days ago. It’s no mystery why: They don’t want taxpayers to know about the trillions they’re wasting.

Precisely. The piece goes on to point out that when the last budget was passed, our Sham WOW (Walks on Water) current occupant of the Oval Office praised Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid for passing what is an essential “foundation for growth.” So much for that idea.

Please check out this excellent Heritage Foundation video that drives home the point, What Can You Do in 1000 Days? And the footnote video, featuring all the hot news events that have occurred since the Senate last passed a budget. (H/T Power Line).

Gee, I wonder if the major network newscasts will lead with this story?
