As noted in this post, Richard Nixon should have thought of the “What difference does it make?” defense to politicians lying to the American public, especially presidents.
How ironic that Hillary, who was part of the effort to destroy Richard Nixon, would now say lying by a presidential administration doesn’t matter.
Can you believe all those haters on right-wing media outlets, viciously suggesting that Sec. of State Hillary Clinton’s month-long series of health problems might have something to do with a desire to avoid answering questions about the murder of 4 Americans in Benghazi on September 11, 2012? They say that she will do anything to avoid testifying. Have they no conscience, no shame? Of course, once again those so incensed over accusations of accusations of “Benghazi flu,” of “diplomatic illness,” are guilty of selective outrage. I don’t recall wails of unfairness when they accused Mitt Romney of giving a woman cancer, but I know. That was different.
It’s also different from, and if you are to believe the vacuous Joan Walsh, a fixture over that at the 24/7 televised nuthouse MS-NBC, much worse than, gleefully hoping for the painful death of former president George H.W. Bush. Surely, I jest, I can hear you saying. Ah, no. Here’s the video:

It’s unbelievable that anyone would question the veracity of Hilary Clinton. How can that be? The woman who claimed to be named after Sir Edmund Hilary, even though she was born in 1947 and Sir Edmund didn’t become famous until 1953? The woman who claimed that she had bravely dodged gunfire in Bosnia? It’s shocking to me that anyone could say anything so unfair, and even, cruel about her!
Just when you think you’ve seen how low the right wing will go, they go lower.

Like all liberals, the gang over at the 24/7 televised insane asylum, MS-NBC, is obsessed with race, and so naturally, they can’t stop discussing the racial and gender of committee chairs in the House of Representatives. This “issue” is tailor-made for the always confused, self-hating white guy Chris Matthews, who is the epitome of the guilty lily white liberal, who can’t do enough to demonstrate his distaste for that nasty racism that he sees EVERYWHERE, especially in Republicans. On yesterday’s edition of his “Hardball” show, during a segment featuring the vacuous Joan Walsh of salon.com, author of a book entitled “What’s the Matter with White People?” (I am NOT making that title up) who, like Chris is also–oh no!–white, and Republican Tom Davis, a former Virginia congressman, he outdid himself. The “worker bees” and “retiree bees” he refers to as the video begins are his fellow Americans aka “the masses,” in leftist speak. Charming.
Recall some other examples of Chris’ race derangement on display. He told us that commenting on the explosion on the number of people on food stamps during the Obama administration is a “dog whistle,” as in a secret signal to the imaginary racists that populate his fevered brain. Apparently that wasn’t crazy enough because he followed up by telling us that mentioning the stinking slough of corruption that spawned Barack Obama, “Chicago,” is another “dog whistle.”
Are there psych meds for this disease? Please, Chris, have your doctor up your dose.
Despite the fact that, as one of last Sunday’s excellent A-List guests, Katie Pavlich has meticulously detailed in her terrific book, Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and Its Shameless Cover-up, internal DOJ emails have confirmed what those familiar with Eric Holder and Barack Obama long ago realized; that is, that Operation Fast and Furious had a hidden agenda, which was to impose more gun control on Americans. The hostility that the Left has toward the Second Amendment isn’t exactly a revelation, unless you happen to lack the sense that God gave geese. Case in point: frequent MS-NBC babbler, salon.com’s Joan Walsh. She appeared with Chris Matthews on his “Hardball” show on Tuesday 6/26/12, and expressed disgust that Rep. Darryl Issa and millions of other sentient Americans believe that strident ideologues like this bunch would actually send serious firepower to Mexican drug cartels if that would help them strip Americans of their civil liberties.
I love the way doltish Rep. Carolyn Maloney chimes in at the end, echoing Ms. Walsh, and sounding like a demented parrot.
For the last hour and a half, Rush Limbaugh has been talking about this bogus story that ran on Market Watch by , which even the Liberal Death Star (New York Times) pointed out was deceptive.
No matter that the story wasn’t true. That didn’t keep Chris Matthews and his panel of clueless Obama Kool-Aid drinkers, Joan Walsh and David Corn, from using it to “prove” how “menadacious” we are when we say the One is a big spender.
Ironic, much? Those citing deceitful stories using them to accuse others of lying, or in other words, the Obama campaign from now until November.
