Thanks to President Obama, the evil Republicans were finally forced to allow the omniscient and all good federal government to take a little bit more money from rich people. I’m really glad. Those damn rich people were really getting on my nerves with all their money. They have way more than they need. Take Donald Trump. Does he really need that fancy helicopter? I don’t have one, why should he? Yes, I know, the tax increase is not going to force him to give it up, but perhaps our government should set their sites on making him share it. For example, let’s say I want to go to Six Flags Great America next July 4. The traffic is horrible. Why can’t I reserve Donald Trump’s helicopter to pick me up and drop me off and bring me home again? That would be more fair than just letting Trump hog it SOLELY BECAUSE HE OWNS IT. And what good would that helicopter be anyway if not for the taxpayer supported infrastructure (like the airport and the road to the airport) that Trump uses.

I don’t get these Republicans. What’s with this private property thing anyway? Nothing is really private, or I should say, nothing has any worth without the federal government to support it. Why don’t rich people get it. Sell the yacht and sponsor a teacher (oops- I mean educator) and make sure that the most important job in the country is properly compensated. If anyone in our country should be rich, its teach- er, educators. They do everything for the children. C’mon, you rich bastards, ante up.

Speaking of the children, President Obama and the democrats are doing a lot for the children as well. By making sure none of them have the opportunity to get rich (by saddling them with student loan debt, medicaid and social security debt, pension debt and debt in general), our President is assuring them a future wherein they will never have to bitch about taxes on the rich. There won’t be any. (Rich that is; there’ll be plenty of taxes.)

Who Wants a Tax Increase? Today on The Teri O’Brien Show

Ever the demagogue, Barack Obama crisscrosses the country, continuing to campaign, despite winning last month’s presidential election. Polls show that 60% of Americans support raising taxes on “the rich,” and he’s determined to keep stoking the fires of class envy to maintain the political advantage that he sees awaiting him after we “plunge” off the “fiscal cliff.” By doing so, he’s hoping to start off his second term making it clear that that’s “not going to play that game that I will play,” the “game” being abiding by the Constitution and allowing Congress to control the debt ceiling. Predictably, here we have the breathtaking arrogance and lawlessness that he demonstrated in his first term, now on steroids. Yet, one prominent, even legendary, member of the Jurassic media says that if there is a recession, Barack Obama will own it. Who is he, and is he right?

Just who are these people who want to funnel more cash down the Washington rathole? There are three groups, and maybe you’re part of one of them. There’s the no-information cohort. This group spends most of its time sitting on their couches, watching “Cheaters” and “The View,” eating Cheetos, and trying to dream up some sort of lawsuit to take advantage of the promised gravy train in the ads that the ambulance chasers run on those shows. They want to stick it to those rich bastards that have been keeping them down, although I don’t think they’ve thought through exactly how taking the fruits of one person’s labor helps them. Then there’s another type of grifter, those who believe that they are going to be on the receiving end of what the government steals from the productive to get their votes. Think food stamps, Obama phones, and also Solyndra and public employee unions. Finally, there’s the group for which we coined the phrase over two years ago, the low information voters, who don’t realize that, yet again, Barack Obama is running a con on them again. Would these people really endorse taking more of what hard-working Americans earn if they realize it was not going to be used to pay down the debt, but rather for more and more spending? Do they really want their children and grandchildren living in the equivalent of today’s Greece?

“Below the Radar” file: In another example of Obama continuing his old ways, he has nominated a benefactor of a domestic terrorist to a Treasury department position. He can’t get enough of people who like to blow stuff up and the people who enable them!

The state that foisted Obama on America, Illinois, went over its own “fiscal cliff” a long time ago, which should have been a bit of a red flag to the rest of the country in 2008 (see above re Low and no Information voters). In the grand tradition of the sleazy, greedy, irresponsible tools that inhabit Springfield, rather than deal with that mess, they turned their attention to a much more pressing need, giving drivers’ licenses to illegals, with the wiling assistance of Republicans. William J. Kelly, of the Kelly Truth Squad, will join us to talk about that.

“I watch so you don’t have to file:” Speaking of sleazy Illinois pols, Dick Durbin, we saw you on “Meet the Press” today, and I have a suggestion. Please get on the blower and call ABC’s Diane Sawyer. You need a fake sincerity coach, and you need one now!

Last week, as Bashar Assad’s regime continues his violent repression that has already murdered thousands of his own people, Barack Obama says using the chemical weapons that Syria got from the One’s pal Putin, is “unacceptable.” I guess that means we can conclude that the 21-month long, on-going slaughter is acceptable. If we’re really lucky, under B. Hussein’s able leadership, Syria will become the next Somalia.

Friday afternoon, the Supreme Court took up two cases involving so-called “same sex marriage.” Will one of these cases be the third in the series Dred Scott and Roe v. Wade? What does the ascendency of “gay marriage” mean, and why the sudden change in the public’s attitude toward this bizarre institution? I know the answer, and I’ll share it.

One thing liberals and conservatives can agree on: we love our pets. There is no more loyal, dependable and useful to mankind than Canis lupus familiaris, aka “man’s best friend,” the dog. Remember? From Politico:

President Barack Obama set a high bar for open government, and he set it quickly.

A minute after he took office, the White House website declared his administration would become “the most open and transparent in history.” By the end of his first full day on the job, Obama had issued high-profile orders pledging “a new era” and “an unprecedented level of openness” across the massive federal government.

But three years into his presidency, critics say Obama’s administration has failed to deliver the refreshing blast of transparency that the president promised.

I was thinking about that as I watch the Lame Stream Media frenzy over another exciting “crisis,” the “Fiscal Cliff.” So is Sen. Jeff Sessions, who asks

“Why doesn’t the American people know what it is the president would like to see as the final idea for America’s financial future?” he asked host Greta Van Susteren.

Barack Obama notoriously broke his promise to have C-SPAN cameras in the room while his health care scheme was being written and debated. Now that we’ve seen that disaster, I guess we know why. Here’s an opportunity for him to do the right thing by holding these talks openly and publicly. Once again, though, he seems uninterested in doing that.

Is it possible that he could be hiding something from the American people as he and Speaker Boehner debate our country’s financial future?

Thanks again to all our veterans and members of the military, past and present, and their families for their courage, sacrifice and patriotism.

Despite the chorus of leftist Obama kneepad clutchers, like the occupants of the 24/7 nuthouse at MS-NBC, and commie rag The Nation, gleefully proclaiming that last week’s election provided Barack Obama with a “mandate” for his “progressive” agenda, the truth is that a switch of a few hundred thousand votes would have produced a different result. Please don’t get me wrong. I am not trying to sugar coat what was a shellacking, nor am I trying to deny the masterful success of the Obama campaign. As we heard on the show, they understood the game and they played it fabulously. They got the opponent they wanted, and as he was bloodied during a primary, they built their “firewall” in Florida, Virginia and Ohio, then spent the spring and summer using character assassination to disqualify Mitt Romney as a cruel, greedy, plutocrat, a cross between Marie Antoinette and Gordon Geckko, only with less empathy for the “middle class.” Meanwhile, the Romney campaign not only failed to combat this caricature, but also failed to articulate a clear, compelling vision for the future of the country. That’s understandable because, as noted here, Mitt Romney is not and never has been a conservative. He could try to speak like Ronald Reagan, but unlike Reagan, he was speaking conservatism as a second language. Reagan wouldn’t have allowed Obama to get away with mouthing platitudes about the “middle class” without explaining that in Barack Obama’s vision of America as Cook County writ large, there is no middle class. He would have gone on offense on Benghazi and on the horrific impact that Obamacare will have on our health care system. The combination of the unprecedented negativity and identity politics on steroids approach of the Obama campaign, coupled with the Romney campaign’s failure to provide an exciting alternative to voters and its inadequate “get out the vote” effort, led to a disaster for this country and for the world. That’s why he lost, NOT because of “demographics” as the geniuses on television, broadcasting from their East Coast bubble are trying to tell you. The ignorant, and agenda-driven bleating about “demographics” is leading to the inevitable demands for amnesty for 11 million illegals.

In an amazing coincidence, David Petraeus resigns after the election and only a few days before Congressional hearings on the 9/11 attack in Benghazi. Does he have a Martha Stewart problem? Is there anyone, other than the low-information children who voted for Obama, who probably think Benghazi is one of the designers that Moochelle is considering to design her gown for the inauguration, who believes that the White House found out about this affair at 5 pm on Election Day? Seriously? Why is this affair an issue? Wasn’t it just a week or so ago that we were being told that Bill Clinton, the only elected president in the history of the U.S. ever to be impeached, and impeached for lying under oath, was the go-to guy for truth? When Bill Clinton was diddling an intern in the Oval Office, the democrats, and by that I mean elected officials and the LSM, told us that it had nothing to do with his job performance. Cue the Sir Mix-A-Lot: Sensenbrenner Tells Truth About Michelle’s Huge Ass

Some of my friends and listeners have suggested that I should run for political office. I’m flattered that they think I would do a better job than the current crop of mediocre, spineless refugees from the private sector, but of course, there is zero chance that would take them up on their idea. I like telling the truth way too much for that. As Michael Kinsley famously said, in Washington, a “gaffe” is doing just that. Yet another example of the truth of Mr. Kinsley’s statement is this item about Rep. James Sensenbrenner’s very accurate comments regarding America’s number one, albeit self-appointed, health, fitness and nutrition expert, Michelle Obama.

From an outraged “journalist,” at something called the DCFishbowl, reporting on the Wisconsin representative’s cell phone conversation overheard at Reagan airport:

Apparently, the congressman was talking to someone about a church auction he had attended three weeks earlier, when an admirer of Michelle’s, who must have been baiting the conservative representative, approached him.

As listeners to the Teri O’Brien Show know very well, I have noted for several years, the HUGE, and i do mean huge, and bizarre inconsistency between Mrs. Obama’s incessant hectoring about obesity, exercise, and our food choices while possessing a rear end on which we could park an aircraft carrier. There’s a reason that devotees of the Obama cult of the personality gush endlessly about Mrs. Obama’s sculpted arms, as noted here.

Now, Cong. Sensenbrenner is supposed to apologize to Moochelle for a true statement he made in a conversation overheard by a “Democrat operative?” Only in Washington. I’m sure that the reporter, a Ms. Betsy Rothstein, who scribbled this foolishness, expects him to bow down to Her Highness even lower than Barack Obama meeting a tinpot dictator. She is completely focused on Mr. Sensenbrenner’s, physique, indignant that “he, also, has a large behind,” conveniently ignoring the fact that he is not the one lecturing us on our diets and exercise routines, all the while stuffing his pie hole with ice cream, french fries and lobster. Let’s talk turkey, or perhaps I should say, ribs, Ms. Rothstein, about Mrs. Obama’s derriére. You can see it from space.

There’s a larger question, though, even larger than the subject at hand, which is the only thing Mrs. Obama has that is bigger than her sense of entitlement. That larger question is this one: Is it just me, or does it seem that these liberal apparatchiks do a lot of eavesdropping, especially at Christmas time? Remember when those typical American grandparents, just out doing some holiday shopping, happened to have their typical, average American police scanner on in their car when they heard Rep. John Boehner talking about the ethics investigation involving then-Speaker Newt Gingrich? They recorded the conversation, and eventually delivered it to Baghdad Jim McDermott, who leaked it to the New York Times. A federal court ordered Rep. McDermott to pay Rep. Boehner damages for his skullduggery, and he eventually had to cough up hundreds of thousands in damages and legal fees. Why are these people always sniffing around, eavesdropping and otherwise refusing to mind their own business? Oh wait …never mind. They are LIBERALS! Controlling everyone’s life is their reason for living!

We can only hope that January 20, 2013 will find Barack Obama’s skinny backside and his repellent wife’s ginormous one living somewhere other than the White House, and all our problems will be behind us.
