I tweeted this morning about liberal media hero Bob Woodward’s appearance this morning on MS-NBC’s “Morning Joe.”
Woodward decries Obama madness on Morning J

The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward attacked President Barack Obama on Wednesday, saying the commander-in-chief’s decision not to deploy an aircraft carrier because of budget cuts is “a kind of madness.”
“Can you imagine Ronald Reagan sitting there and saying, ‘Oh, by the way, I can’t do this because of some budget document?’” Woodward said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”“Or George W. Bush saying, ‘You know, I’m not going to invade Iraq because I can’t get the aircraft carriers I need’ or even Bill Clinton saying, ‘You know, I’m not going to attack Saddam Hussein’s intelligence headquarters,’ as he did when Clinton was president because of some budget document?” Woodward added. “Under the Constitution, the president is commander-in-chief and employs the force. And so we now have the president going out because of this piece of paper and this agreement. ‘I can’t do what I need to do to protect the country.’ That’s a kind of madness that I haven’t seen in a long time.”
The Dear Reader’s regime is not going to take this sitting down! So they threatened the legendary journo. This evening on CNN, Bob Woodward told Wolf Blitzer that the White House had threatened him. From Business Insider:
Bob Woodward said this evening on CNN that a “very senior person” at the White House warned him in an email that he would “regret doing this,” the same day he has continued to slam President Barack Obama over the looming forced cuts known as the sequester.

Of course, as opposed to the brilliant Dear Reader, whose accomplishments include doing a little blow, sitting in the pew of a racist, anti-American wacko preacher for 20 years and managing to hear nothing, and voting present in the Illinois State legislature 100 times.
Mitt, Don’t Wobbly in the Face of East Coast Brain Rot
When I hopped on my treadmill at 5:22 a.m this morning, (and “hopped” probably creates the impression of a lot more “get up and go” than I have that hour, but go with me here), I expected that the “usual suspects” (wait until the end of this piece for a surprise ending!) on the televised 24/7 nuthouse would be wringing their hands over Mitt Romney’s latest disastrous misstep, this time his very appropriate and very accurate remarks regarding the Obama administration’s Carteresque appease-and-apologize foreign policy. The gang at Morning Joe didn’t disappoint. Mika wailed “what’s wrong with them?” Andrea Mitchell furrowed her brow and the segment was bannered “Political Misfire.” They cited Peggy Noonan’s tisk tisking of Gov. Romney. Yes, that Peggy Noonan (R-Dick Lugar), the one who endorsed Barack Hussein Obama. Peggy’s a great wordsmith, but that doesn’t make her the spokesperson for conservatism in this country. It’s clear that she doesn’t want to antagonize any of her Manhattan friends, after all, just as she didn’t in 2008, when she first showed signs of advancing ECBR (East Coast Brain Rot). I thought to myself, “Where’s Steve “I hate Sarah Palin” Schmidt?” Naturally, and right on cue, they rolled him out after the commercial break, to continue the conversation about Mitt Romney’s “desperation” as evidenced by this “conservative (as in Peggy Noonan and Dick “I haven’t lived in Indiana since the 1970’s” Lugar) backlash.”
Mitt, I’ve got news for you. When the gang at Morning Joe, and Steve “The Loser” Schmidt think you stepped in it, you are on the right track. These people, along with Dick Lugar, and all the other chin pullers trying to advise, you suffer from irreversible cases of ECBR, not to mention the fact that they don’t have your, or our country’s, best interests at heart. They don’t have the slightest clue. Pat them on the head, thank them and send them on their ways. You’re a smart guy, and you well know that craven calculation and reactivity is a non-starter for all decision makers. (Incidentally, if you look up “craven” and “loser,” you’ll discover an amazing exception to Merriam Webster’s usual policy, because Steve Schmidt’s picture appears next to both entries!) The explosions in the Middle East and the economic stagnation are fruits of the same poisonous tree, Barack Obama’s ideology and policies that flow from it. You know it. I know it. So, say it. Say it loud, say it proud. You know it’s not a coincidence that in the late 1970‘s, we also had an exploding Middle East and a stagnant economy. The Obama campaign is trying to make you run against Bill Clinton so that the American people won’t realize that you are really running against Jimmy Carter. You are, and you must make that clear to them. As I said before, this is not the time to be nuanced. As for members in Congress leaving Mitt “out on a limb,” that’s just more Lame Stream Media spin. Just because they chose not to comment on what you correctly called “disgraceful,” that doesn’t mean that they disagree. Even if they do, stand on principle. That is how conservatives win.
Those of us who realize that the source of all this misery is Barack Obama’s philosophy didn’t know, to quote Bill Clinton, whether to laugh or cry yesterday, watching the One soberly tell CBS News “[t]here’s a broader lesson to be learned here: Governor Romney seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later, and as president, one of the things I’ve learned is you can’t do that,” as if we have to wait to understand that the whipped dog statement issued by Obama’s Egyptian embassy was completely in line with his administration’s policies and beliefs about America’s role in the world. We are like people seeing the movie “The Usual Suspects” for the second time. We know who Keyser Soze is. We know the “surprise” ending, so it’s not a surprise. Nor are the consequences of Barack Obama’s radical left-wing ideology and desire to cut America down to size, as so brilliantly chronicled by Dinesh D’Souza. Remember: “the finest trick of the devil is to persuade you that he does not exist”
Don’t go wobbly, Mitt. There is no cure for ECBR, but that doesn’t mean we have to let our country go up in flames.
