Happy Cinco De Mayo, or as Barack Obama might say, “Cinco de Cuatro!”
Barack Obama goes to Mexico, warns us not to get all “bogged down” worrying about border security, and apologizes AGAIN for the United States, this time for being responsible for drug trafficking and the prevalence of guns, and conveniently neglects to mention that his administration deliberately sent lots of them there in an attempt to gin up gun control hysteria in the United States. As his fellow pinko Lenin would say, to make an omelette, you’ve got to break some eggs. What’s a few hundred dead Mexicans?
For the 5th time in the last 18 months, Obama goes to Ohio, this time to THE Ohio State University to reward the wet-behind-the-ears Obamabots who mindlessly voted for him because he’s so cool. He warns them not to get all bogged down in listening to people who tell them that government isn’t the source of everything good in their lives.
With a straight face, faux reasonable, moderate, middle-of-the-road guy/national embarrassment Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) explains that unless we pass the 844-page “comprehensive immigration reform,” it won’t be possible to make sure that people like the Tsarnaev accomplices don’t overstay or re-enter the country with expired student visas, demonstrating how breathtakingly stupid the democrats really think we are.
Rudy Giuliani makes a great case that Robel Phillipos, Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev should be charged with being accessories in the murder of MIT police officer Sean Collier.
On May Day, amazingly, once again, illegal aliens emerge from “the shadows” to wave Mexican flags and hang out with communists and anarchists. The Left, including their stenographers in the LSM, say “Communists? What communists?” So does the afore-mentioned pudgy huckster, Dick Durbin.
Benghazi survivors remain “in the shadows,” but whistleblowers will testify on Wednesday before Darryl Issa’s committee.

During a week when Barack Obama had to state that rumors of his demise are greatly exaggerated, the reality is that rumors of al Qaeda’s demise, fueled by the One’s desire to perpetuate his pre-election mantra that “GM is alive and Osama bin Laden is dead,” are the thing that has been seriously, and dangerously exaggerated, as demonstrated by both Benghazi and Boston. The Benghazi coverup is beginning to unravel. In a terrific piece of reporting, Steve Hayes of the Weekly Standard confirms this weekend what we knew all along; specifically, “senior Obama administration officials knowingly misled the country about what had happened in the days following the assaults.” Where’s my shocked face? This coming Wednesday, three whistleblowers, all career State Department officials, will testify before Rep. Darryl Issa (R-CA) and his Oversight and Government Reform Committee. We are delighted that their attorney, the amazing Victoria Toensing, will be our guest today. What will her clients tell the committee? What did she mean when she said that “people have been threatened” when they wanted to speak up about what happened in Benghazi on September 11, 2012? Will this hearing cause the floodgates to open, as more come forward to tell the truth? Has she received the apology she demanded after a State Department spokesperson called her a “liar?”
During his excellent Latin American adventure, our Dear Reader cautioned us against getting “bogged down” on the issue of border security. Unfortunately for those who agree, including the thousands demonstrating on May Day for “immigrants’ rights,” this statement came during the same week that we learned that two pals of the surviving Boston bomber who helped him cover up the crime were in the country illegally. What common household item did they make a point of removing from Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s dorm room? Is it common knowledge that this stuff, which you probably have in your home, can be used to make a bomb? I didn’t know. How did they?
2nd Amendment Update: Barack Obama has stated that he’s not done trying to trample on gun rights. NRA says bring it on. Liberals mock the 2nd amendment and celebrate the government’s incineration of American citizens on American soil at Waco.

Friday’s economic growth numbers continued the disappointing trend that many clichè repeating news readers have dubbed with the irritating phrase “the new normal,” with a pathetic 2.5%. While reporting on this rotten economy, the Lame Stream Media attempts to cover for Barack Obama and the destructive effects of his policies by blaming the sequester, a decline in government spending that amounts to a rounding error, and which, as they always conveniently neglect to mention, was Obama’s idea.
While we serfs struggle in Obama’s economy, the political glitterati continue their endless whirl of celebrity-studded, luxurious parties, dinners and self-congratulatory celebrations, including last night’s White House Correspondence Dinner aka “the Nerd Prom,” an annual Hollywood-Washington mashup that gets more embarrassing every year. The One took the occasion to perform an alleged “comedy” routine, which has been greeted by the sycophantic stenographers in the press as delightfully self-deprecating, but which on closer examination is just more on the same finger in the eye to the bitter clingers. Guest comedian Conan O’Brien phoned it in, ripping the usual liberal targets like the NRA and Rep. Michele Bachman, while reading the jokes that his enormous staff of writers helped him prepare from index cards. Earlier in the week, the elites celebrated the opening of George W. Bush’s library, where Bill Clinton showed some evidence of personal growth. He told the audience that he thinks he should keep his clothes on. It was clear that Michelle Obama did not want to be there. Her expression said “just kill me.”
That leaves us here in real America trying to survive in what our guest Wayne Allyn Root calls the “Obamageddon.” How can you and your family not only survive, but also thrive and prosper, in this economy? Wayne will share some strategies from his new book, The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide.
The Boston bombers investigation continues, and it is very clear that the whole “just a guy who got radicalized and brought along his brother–lone wolves–nothing to see here” narrative is falling apart. Why was the questioning of pothead/jihadist punk Tsarnaev the Younger abruptly ended after only 16 hours by the arrival of a magistrate, who took the highly unusual step of helpfully bringing along an attorney? The reason is obvious and we’ll unpack it.
I not only watch so you don’t have to. I read, and I’ve been plowing through the Gang of 8’s proposed immigration bill. As I told you a couple of week’s ago, Marco Rubio is being played by Chuck Schumer, and this disaster needs to be stopped. “Comprehensive immigration reform” is simply a way for democrats to hold solutions to actual problems like the failure to track aliens who overstay their visas, or errors that allow people like Tamerlin Tsarnaev to slip through the cracks, hostage to their desire to admit millions of new democrat voters to the country.
Speaking of the Tsarnaev family, they clearly believed that they were entitled to support from taxpayers, and now, according to a very influential radical Islamist cleric, that’s a great way to finance jihad. From the Daily Mail: “A controversial Muslim cleric will not face action despite telling his followers to claim benefits and saying David Cameron should be killed. Telling fellow fanatics to claim ‘jihad seeker’s allowance’, Anjem Choudary, who in the past has planned to disrupt the minute’s silence on Remembrance Sunday, also openly mocked hard-working Britons, calling them ‘slaves’.” The article also notes “The father-of-four takes home more than £25,000 a year in benefits and lives in a £320,000 house in Leytonstone, East London.” Preview of coming attractions for USA?

Under The Radar: Obama Administration’s Outrageous Abuses of Executive Power Threaten 2nd Amendment
While Barack Obama and Joe Biden barnstorm the country attempting to gin up emotionally-driven indignation against our 2nd Amendment rights, federal agencies under their control are working behind the scenes to put the hurt on firearms’ manufacturers and law-abiding citizens who dare to exercise their rights. David Keene, President of the NRA, writes today in the Washington Times:
One major national firearms retailer, for example, has been under fire for more than two years from the Obama administration’s Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. It seems the company won’t hire convicted felons, which the commission claims amounts to illegal racial discrimination. The federal government these days argues that policies that have what government lawyers call a “disparate impact” on racial minorities amount to impermissible discrimination – even when the policies themselves were not put in place for discriminatory reasons. Thus, the government argues that a higher percentage of minorities within the felony population than in the population at large means that any policy that discriminates against felons as a class is discriminatory because its impact falls disparately on minorities.
Company officials pointed out to commission investigators threatening to charge the company with discrimination that they couldn’t hire felons even if they wanted to, because federal law prohibits federal firearms licensees from hiring felons. The investigator’s response was, according to a company official I talked to: “That’s your problem, not ours.”
He also describes the persecution of gun collector Kristopher Gasior.
Security agents to the Fredericksburg, Va., home of Kristopher Gasior on March 8. Mr. Gasior is a gun collector, author and expert on Polish-made firearms. Mr. Gasior owns a collection that includes a rare military rifle made by the Polish government in 1938, was captured by invading German forces the next year, and brought to the United States by a GI who took it from a German in the final days of the war.The agents who came to his door didn’t have a warrant, but Mr. Gasior’s wife invited them in, and when her husband came into the room, they asked if he had the rifle. When he said yes and showed it to them, they seized it and gave him a receipt after informing him that they were taking it on behalf of the Polish government. They claimed it was a “one-of-a-kind rifle” that had been looted from the Polish government during the war.
This situation is reminiscent of last week’s ridiculous action by the state of New Jersey. Fortunately in that case, the law-abiding citizen on the receiving end of government persecution demanded a warrant, which of course, the state thugs could not produce. From CBS News:
Shawn Moore said he gave his son Josh the gun as a present to use on hunting trips. The elder Moore was at a friend’s house when his wife called, saying state child welfare investigators, along with four local police officers, were at the house, asking to inspect the family’s guns.
Moore said he called his lawyer Evan Nappen, who specializes in Second Amendment cases, and had him on speakerphone as he arrived at his house in Carneys Point, just across the Delaware River from Wilmington, Del.
“They said they wanted to see into my safe and see if my guns were registered,” Moore said. “I said no; in New Jersey, your guns don’t have to be registered with the state; it’s voluntary. I knew once I opened that safe, there was no going back.”
With the lawyer listening in on the phone, Moore said he asked the investigators and police officers whether they had a warrant to search his home. When they said no, he asked them to leave. One of the child welfare officials would not identify herself when Moore asked for her name, he said.
The agents and the police officers left, and nothing has happened since, he said.
“I don’t like what happened,” he said. “You’re not even safe in your own house. If they can just show up at any time and make you open safes and go through your house, that’s not freedom; it’s like tyranny.”
Precisely. I’m still waiting for Gov. Chris Christie’s apology for this disgusting act by state officials.
The Obama administration knows its proposed new gun control measures are non-starters, but regardless, the tyrannical actions of federal agencies will continue even if these measures go down in flames.
