Fifth Column RINO’s

Just a few months ago, this guy was in consideration as Mitt Romney’s VP. How does this happen?

By accepting the provision included in President Barack Obama’s health care law expanding federal Medicaid funding, Ohio Gov. John Kasich joined four fellow Republican governors in welcoming part of a program their party has campaigned vehemently against.

Kasich isn’t the first Republican to sign on to the Obamacare provision – he joins Jan Brewer of Arizona, Brian Sandoval of Nevada, Susana Martinez of New Mexico, and Jack Dalrymple of North Dakota in endorsing the Medicaid expansion. In total, 19 states and the District of Columbia will accept the expanded federal funds.

It’s good to see the Peter Principle alive and well.

On a related front, I listened to Hannity, that annoyingly self-aggrandizing simp, bleat on about Karl Rove and how he leaked to the New York Slimes his plan to end-run the TEA Party. Then a commercial played for Rove’s group. Now, I don’t know if it was a local or a national spot but it certainly played. And no, I won’t link to it.

It looks as though the Grand Plan is to give Obama everything he wants and then blame him for the collapse of society.

Good luck with that.

Why Mitt Lost, and Why He Didn’t: Today on the Teri O’Brien Show

One surefire sign that a theory is wrong is when it is embraced by not only NBC’s F. Chuck Todd and, David “Howdy Doody” Gregory, but also Matthew “Useful Idiot” Dowd, and Steve “Chris Matthews’ Bitch” Schmidt, the latter one of the architects of John McCain’s campaign. As previously noted here, if you look up “craven” and “loser,” you’ll discover an amazing exception to Merriam Webster’s usual policy, because Steve Schmidt’s picture appears next to both entries! This herd of independent thinkers are marching in Stalinist lockstep, reciting their explanation for why Romney lost, and as usual, they couldn’t be more wrong if they were getting their news from MS-NBC.

There are ten reasons that Mitt lost. I’ll share them, and get yours.

The behavior of the GOP leadership in the wake of their shellacking tells me that it’s time to backup the truck. What say you?

What are the implications of Barack Obama’s victory for issues important to conservatives, especially the Second Amendment? Now that he is re-elected, is he prepared to try to impose U.N.-sanctioned back door gun control on Americans?

The resignation of David Petraeus raises many interesting questions. Of course, like you, I’m quite sure that his sudden resignation right before Congressional hearings about the coverup of the murders of 4 Americans on September 11 in Benghazi is just a coincidence. I’m also certain it’s just another amazing coincidence that the Obama White House found out about the extramarital affair that led to Petraeus’ exit on Tuesday, Election Day, at 5 p.m. Why would anyone in the administration lie? It must be true.

Tune in today for the rest of the story.

Obama’s Katrina Rant

Like many of you, I tuned in last night to “Hannity” to see the “blockbuster” tape of Obama from 2007. Of course, his apparatchiks in the LSM are downplaying it as “lame” and “old news,” and, yes, it’s not exactly a heart-stopper that Barack Obama is a race-baiting demagogue. Still, it’s worth revisiting this tape (link here), if only to shine a light on something else that Barack Obama is, something that everyone casting a ballot for president needs to keep in mind. This guy is a phony. He gets in front of a group of black ministers and suddenly he switches on that terrific on-off Negro dialect that Harry Reid admired so much. And also worth noting: the One went off the PrompTer for the “Where’s your dollah?” part of the speech.

It’s also interesting, and a bit ironic, that in this rant, he is inveighing against the racist neglect of victims of Hurricane Katrina, given recent events. As Pat Caddell noted in his speech at an Accuracy in Media event, which we heard on last Sunday’s show, Obama’s stunning and disgraceful performance after the 9/11 attack in Benghazi, should be his Katrina moment. Four Americans, including the first ambassador since 1979 during the Carter administration, are murdered and he makes a perfunctory and uncomfortable statement, then jets off to Vegas for another fundraiser.

So, while it’s not exactly a news bulletin that Barack Obama played the race card to get where he is, or that he spent 20 years listening to, and expressing admiration for a racist, anti-American, anti-Semitic, Marxist preacher, this tape provides a cautionary reminder of who this man is, and why the American public made a HUGE mistake electing him 4 years ago.

Great Minds Think Alike, or Rush with O’Brien Echo Syndrome?

Play

As usual, listeners to the Teri O’Brien Show are WAY ahead of the curve. Once again, they heard on Sunday what others hear on Monday, or even later in the week.

On last Sunday’s (2/12/12) show, as noted in the Show Notes for that edition of the program posted yesterday, I presented the theory that the Regime’s attempt to make last week’s exposure of the naked coercion required to implement Obamacare about contraception explains George Stephanopolous’ grilling of Mitt Romney about that subject back on 1/7/12. At the time, no one could understand where that came from. As I explained last Sunday, now it makes sense. Here’s the audio:

Then last night on Hannity’s show, Dick Morris presented the same theory, an event the Rush described on his show today, nearly 48 hours after we mentioned it on the Teri O’Brien Show. Here’s that audio:
