Election 2016: Because “The Right has no one to run against Hillary, or any serious democratic candidate,” Get Ready for The Coronation of Queen Hillary I … J. D. Longstreet

(Editor’s note: WARNING: The following piece may be a bring down.)

A Commentary by J. D. Longstreet
******************
At the rate the Left and the media (Whoops!  Sorry! I repeat myself!) are pushing Hillary into the Oval Office, you’d think she has nothing whatsoever to do to gain entrance.

No primary and no opposition from the Right, (at least no serious opposition) will make this a milk run for Hillary.

Come on, Folks.  The Right has no one to run against Hillary, or any serious democratic candidate.  It pains me to report this, but I have this thing about reporting what I see, as I see it.

Unless Hillary states, flat out, that she will not be a candidate for President in 2016, she will be the next President of the United States.  Heck, even then she might be drafted!

It’s her turn and nothing — and no one — will stand in her way.  And yes, I DO know how ridiculous that sounds.

Consider this, from the Huffington Post:

“Hillary Clinton is the next President of the United States. The campaign has begun as the darts are being thrown. It doesn’t matter. She will win the race. It will be historic for more reasons than one. She has paid her dues as a political candidate, as a wife and as a woman. She is ready to step up and take her seat. She is qualified beyond qualifications no matter how you observe.

Hillary will win the election of 2016 for a very basic simple reason. The Republicans don’t have a viable candidate and probably won’t.”

Do not be deceived by the misdirection that Hillary hasn’t made up her mind, or that she is tired and just wants to be a grandmother.  That’s Bovine Scatology.  She WANTS to be President .  She yearns to be President. She craves the presidency. She covets the oval office.

Hillary has ALWAYS wanted to be President.  It is the goal her eye (and her heart) has been set upon for lo, these many decades, and she will not be dissuaded.

Obama has set the stage for rule by a woman in the Oval Office.  Obama evinced very little masculine type leadership during his regime.  That might be because the power behind Obama’s throne was — and is — a woman.  His (her) reign has paved the way for Hillary.

While it is true the country will be split even further apart with Hillary in the Oval Office, that is of no concern to her or to the Progressive/Marxists leading America today.

The advance teams are already formed and active in the field.  You may have seen the early slogan “Ready for Hillary” posted on car bumpers.  You have most certainly seen it on the Internet.

From The Christian Science Monitor:

“… a high-powered political action committee called Ready for Hillary is going gang-busters, raising money and setting the table for a campaign. Several former top Clinton White House aides, such as James Carville, Harold Ickes, and Craig Smith, are advising the group. Mrs. Clinton herself is not involved.”

According to a CNN/ORC poll,  released back in September,  some 65 percent of Democratic primary voters want Clinton as their party’s nominee.

A quick look at the list of Republican’s who have publicly acknowledged they are interested in running for the Presidency is, well, shocking:

See what I mean?  Honestly, does a single name leap from the computer screen to inspire you to believe the GOP has better than a snowball’s chance in Hades of winning in 2016?  Let’s face it:  The Republican Party is bereft of inspiring leadership and/or potential candidates who can set the blood to boiling in a good old fashioned political race for the Presidency.

Meanwhile, back at the dems’ ranch — WHO will eventually challenge Hillary.  There are those who believe Brian Schweitzer, the ex-governor of Montana will be the Hillary challenger.   Schweitzer is an expert on energy policy, a former rancher and soil engineer, and he’s eloquent.

Even if  Schweitzer does run, I am convinced it will all be “pro forma.”

The thing that troubles me even more than the thought of Hillary being in the White House again is – Bill being in the White House again!

Debt Ceiling: GOP Didn’t Make The Best Argument Because Leadership Wasn’t Really Feeling It

Some people make things happen. Some people watch things happen. Some people stand there and ask “what just happened?” For that last group, I present the following explanation. The establishment GOP went into the latest battles with Barack Obama and the democrats. on the continuing budget resolution and the increase in the debt ceiling with their usual defeatist attitude, completely buying into the party line that “Obamacare is the law of the land.” Based on past experience, everyone assumed that they would not even try to use the leverage they have to try to rescue the American people from the horrific effects of Obama’s health care scheme. Then came Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Mike Lee who joined with some of the GOP members of the House to say “Hey, we aren’t feeling like doing the democrat door mat thing for a while. Let’s try fighting.” No matter what East Coast Brain Rot ™ afflicted pantywaist pundits say, that was a good thing. I’m sure that they realized that they were facing long odds since they had to defeat not only the democrats and Obama, but also Sen. John McCain, Sen. Kelly Ayotte, Rep. Peter King and the rest of the gutless RINO usual suspects. It’s like that Tom Hanks line from “A League of Their Own.” The hard is what makes it good.

Some of you may be wondering if it really had to be so hard, and if the GOP had to give Obama everything he wanted. They ask why the Republicans didn’t approach this fight from the very beginning, using the clear, simple, winning message that was all on their side, the issue of Obamacare unfairness. It’s clear that the special treatment accorded under Obamacare for members of Congress and their staffs, unions and other Obama cronies, like big business is a winner with the American public. The issue of “one rule for me but not for thee” is straightforward and easy to understand. Had the GOP focused on that fairness issue from the very beginning, and made one unified argument demanding (1) the same 1-year delay in the individual mandate that Obama gave to big business, and (2) a repeal of the Office of Personnel Management’s decision, allowing members of Congress and their staffs to get subsidies to purchase their insurance from Obama’s exchanges, I think that the GOP would have won the day on those two concessions. The argument that it’s only fair for the people to get the same 1-year extension in having to purchase health insurance that Obama gave to big business would have been even more compelling as the disastrous roll out of the changes unfolded, allowing the messaging to connect the unfairness and incompetence dots. You want to penalize people for not purchasing something that’s nearly impossible to purchase in the system you had over three years to create and test? And businesses get a break for a year? And members of Congress are getting a special break on their premiums? Even an Obama supporter can understand that! So, had the GOP spoken with one voice and repeated their irresistible fairness argument over and over again, they would have gotten some decent concessions from the One. It’s not the same as repeal, but it would be a good start.

Sounds good doesn’t it? So why didn’t the GOP take this obvious path to victory? Well, as previously noted, we had people supposedly on our side who were consorting with the enemy. OK, leave the RINO caucus aside. Why didn’t Speaker Boehner and the leadership  initiate the battle by making the fairness argument and press it aggressively? Were they just being their typical lame, clueless selves? I wish that was it. They didn’t because–wait for it–the elites, including the House GOP leadership, don’t have a problem with special deals for members of Congress. From Business Insider:

Boehner railed against the so-called “exemption” for Congress, but the politics of the ploy were better than the practicality. In July, Mike Sommers, Boehner’s chief of staff, went through David Krone, Reid’s chief of staff, to try to set up a meeting with President Barack Obama to find a way to maintain the subsidies.

Business Insider obtained the email exchange (which you can see below) in which Krone requests that they come up with a different cover story than Obamacare for the meeting.

“People will know we are going down there,” Sommers wrote. “We can’t let it get out there that this is for the [Speaker] and [Leader] to ask the President to carve us out of the requirements of Obamacare. … I am even ok if it is the President hauling us down to talk about the next steps on immigration.”

Krone responded that the White House would love to say the meeting would be about immigration.

“I really don’t care what it is about — it just can’t be about what we know it is about,” Sommers wrote back.

So, while I’d like to tell you that when Speaker Boehner heard that Reid and Obama wanted special treatment for the political class, he was steam-nearly-coming-out-of-his-ears enraged, so angry that he was nearly speechless, insisting that this unfairness be remedied immediately, that’s not what happened. In fact, it was just the opposite. Quietly, and behind the scenes, he was trying to make sure that they did get that special treatment. When he realized it would be politically expedient to stand against it, he pretended to believe in that. His stooge was conspiring with Reid’s stooge and trying to cover it up. Was he really going to charge to the barricades and demand its end? We’re fighting for our country’s survival, though, and we need some of that barricade charging stuff, and fast.

It’s pretty hard to fight for principles that you don’t believe in, which is why so often the establishment Republicans end up standing there with dumb looks on their faces, looks that say “what just happened?”

Senators Compete for Title “Useful Idiot”

Dennis Rodman-TW McCain Thumbs up

As regular listeners to The Teri O’Brien Show know, like many of you, I have a special fondness for calling out useful idiots. Not only is it a really fun activity, it’s one that also helps restore our country. If there’s any downside to this hobby it’s that it’s not exactly like doing a Rubik’s Cube. Well, it’s like a Rubik’s Cube for this guy. For me, it’s more like taking a nap on the couch with the dogs. I just relax, and suddenly they arrive, on my various screens. Today’s entries are U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey “John McCain Jr” Graham (R-SC), and Robert Corker (R-TN), who emerged from last night’s dinner with the One gushing over how “sincere” B. Hussein is. For a second, I thought i was watching Dennis Rodman talking about Kim Jong Un, but McCain’s missing at least one nose ring.

“Sincere” isn’t exactly the adjective that springs to mind when I think of the current occupant of the Oval Office, but then he never bought me dinner, which is funny because usually I’m the kind of girl who would insist that a guy whose doing to me and the rest of the country AT LEAST buy me a really nice meal.

It never ends with this RINO bunch. I cheer when Sen. Graham demands answers on Benghazi, and he is absolutely right about this latest botch in the war against radical islam, involving bin Laden’s son-in-law, which is what makes it doubly disappointing when he appears to not realize that he and the other senators are being played, pawns in Barack Obama’s “bipartisan” charade, who will be used in the never-ending campaign when he resumes jetting around the country to various elementary schools and community colleges to scream self-righteously about the evil Republicans and their obstruction, keeping the American public from having the worker’s paradise that he is desperately trying to create for us.

While these Establishment guys were being played, Sen. Rand Paul continued his amazing filibuster. The optics were stunning, and the script wrote itself. No, actually Mia Love wrote it when she appeared on ABC’s “This Week” last Sunday. During that appearance, she referred to the sequester, and said “This is a showdown between Washington and the American people.” I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Carney Decries GOP “Obsession” with Four Dead Americans; Susan Rice Still Lying

As nearly everyone with a pulse now knows, on September 16, U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice infamously appeared on five Sunday morning news shows to present a false and deceptive narrative to the American public. Her ostensible purpose was to explain the murder of four Americans in Libya on the eleventh anniversary of the original 9/11 attacks. We know that she told us that these deaths were the result of “spontaneous” demonstration, caused by a “reprehensible” (Hillary Clinton’s word) “offensive” YouTube video. Give Ms. Rice credit. She was able to recite this risible story with a straight face. As of today, she’s still lying. After meeting with the three Republican senators who, unlike Barack Obama, don’t consider the murder of 4 Americans “a bump in the road,” and want to get to the bottom of what happened, she issued a statement describing the meeting, which included the following statement:

“We stressed that neither I nor anyone else in the Administration intended to mislead the American people at any stage in this process.”

Please stop insulting our intelligence, Ambassador Rice. This story is not believable, and it’s outrageous that after these four brave Americans were killed, you, at a minimum, enabled the Obama Administration’s deception and continue to try to deceive us with ridiculous lies. The reason that you went before the cameras to read grossly inaccurate talking points is contained in one statement that you made on “Meet the Press;” specifically, “ We have decimated al Qaeda.” The truth about Benghazi renders that statement a pathetic, and tragic, joke, and you know it. Have you no decency, Madam? Of course, that is a rhetorical question. Like the jug-eared leftist jackass she so willingly serves, Susan Rice doesn’t give a rat’s rear end about those murdered Americans. They are collateral damage, “a bump in the road,” and those of us who know that we have a moral obligation to seek justice for them, have what Obama’s mouthpiece Jay Carney calls “an obsession,” Damn right, Skippy. Any time four American are murdered by head chopping Islamic maniacs, we are going to be obsessed with finding out what happened, and also with making certain that those who sacrificed them on the altar of political expediency are called out for the contemptible lying vermin that they are.

Let me repeat: this is no time for another affirmative action appointee.

This Is No Time for Another Affirmative Action Appointee

Apparently, America’s first affirmative-action president isn’t satisfied with having  affirmative-action Attorney General, Eric “I Hate Whitey” Holder, so he’s still considering an affirmative-action Secretary of State, U. N. Ambassador Susan “I was just reading talking points” Rice. With the Middle East exploding, some are questioning whether that’s the best course of action. That aside, some bitter clingers are unwilling to “move on” from the murder of four Americans on September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya, including three Republican senators, John McCain, Lindsay Graham and Kelly Ayotte, are still demanding answers from Ambassador Rice to what seem to be very simple questions (with answers a smart six-year-old knows); specifically,

  1. Did you question why you were the one selected to read talking points about Benghazi, since it was acknowledged that you knew nothing about it?
  2. Did you know that the Obama administration had seen live, real-time video that proved that the Benghazi events were a terrorist attack, not a “spontaneous” demonstration incited by an “offensive” YouTube video?
  3. Do you know who came up with the false narrative about this video being the cause of the murder of four Americans? If so, who was it?
  4. Who personally gave you the talking points that you delivered on five Sunday shows?
  5. Did you speak to any of the following people about the Benghazi events before going on the Sunday shows: Valerie Jarrett, Michelle Obama, David Plouffe, David Axelrod or Barack Obama?
  6. Were you promised anything in exchange for being the spokesperson on Benghazi on the Sunday shows?

Answers (which most of you figured out on September 16, 2012, if not sooner)

  1. That’s the main reason that I was selected. I had plausible deniability from my posture of willful ignorance, like a defense attorney who tells his client “don’t tell me if you did it or not.” Also, I have been a reliable, loyal democrat operative for decades, and they knew I wouldn’t let them down.
  2. I had no first-hand knowledge. I had heard people whispering about it, but once again, I made it a point NOT to find out anything.
  3. My understanding is that it was put together by a committee consisting of Valerie, Plouffe and Axelrod, although I was deliberately kept out of the loop because of that plausible deniability thing.
  4. James Clapper.
  5. Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes.
  6. The job of Secretary of State, along with the undying gratitude of Barack, Michelle, Valerie, Axelrod, Plouffe and the rest of the democrat party.

Let me repeat: it’s time to put Susan Rice under oath and ask her these questions. Then we need to put Valerie Jarrett, David Plouffe, and David Axelrod in the hot seat. And let’s not forget Hillary Clinton, who promised the families of the murdered Americans that we would make sure the maker of that heinous video paid the price for these tragic deaths. I’m under no illusions about whether any of them will tell the truth. Lying is natural as breathing to leftists. Hillary’s skill as an accomplished liar is legendary. We saw it on prominent display while her husband was president.

The lie about the YouTube video was created because it was an explanation, albeit a ridiculous and implausible on its face one, that wouldn’t step on the Obama administration’s silly narrative about his muscular foreign policy and its successful annihilation of al Qaeda. How would it have looked if people learned, less than two months before the election, that al Qaeda had its greatest success against the United States since the original 9/11 attacks? Yes, Osama bin Laden rots in hell, but he was the Ray Kroc of al Qaeda. Mr. Kroc is dead, and McDonald’s is still alive. That’s the reason it was so helpful when Candy Crowley rescued Barack Obama during that October 16 presidential debate

Ms. Rice should not given the job of Secretary State for two reasons: she should not be rewarded for being a reliable apparatchik for this lying passel of Marxist liars, and this is clearly no time for another affirmative-action appointee in a position of responsibility.
