Usual Suspects Display Their Stunning Stupidity, Race-Baiting and Obsession with Homosexuality While A Communist Occupies the White House: Today On The Teri O’Brien Show, 2-16-14

LISTEN HERE.

Happy President’s Day Weekend, Comrades! To celebrate, we’ll have an interview with Prof. Paul Kengor, connecting the red dots between Barack Obama, his card-carrying communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis and the rest of the pinko Chicago cabal, including David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett. (Also, today and tomorrow, to celebrate the holiday, you can download a free copy of The ABC’s of Barack Obama: Understanding God’s Greatest Gift to America. Details here. Grab it before you lose out!)

I hate to burst your bubble, liberal media types, but not only don’t we care about whether NFL prospect Michael Sam is a homosexual, we are laughing at you behind your backs as you use this earth-shattering “news” as an opportunity for chest-pounding declarations of your open-mindedness and commitment to “civil rights.” Unfortunately, as is so often the case, that commitment doesn’t extend to people who disagree with these buffoons, and who consider homosexuality deviant and unnatural. Several who dared to suggest that the “coming out” of Mr. Sam is nothing to celebrate found themselves punished for saying so. Yes, these Neanderthals still exist, but I suspect that even they are more concerned about actual news, such as the fact that our country is being destroyed by a lawless regime, abetted by lawless federal courts, who have no use for the Constitution, federalism or separation of powers. In other words, all the checks and balances that the Founders wisely provided to protect us from getting into the mess we’re in now, that are being tossed aside because “we can’t wait” for “hope and change.” Our Useful Idiot of the Week, another Obama appointee who like the One himself, is poster child for ignorance and affirmative action, is a federal judge who doesn’t know the difference between the Declaration of Independence and that quaint archaic Constitution thing.

We’ll spotlight the 2nd Amendment on today’s show. Yesterday, Michael Dunn was convicted of attempted murder and a weapons violation in the so-called “loud music” case in Florida. The jury couldn’t reach a verdict on the first degree murder charge for the killing of Jordan Davis. The jury’s decision, which came after 40 hours, gave CNN’s Don Lemon, and an assembled panel that included Benjamin Crump, family lawyer for Trayvon Martin’s parents, a chance to whine about America’s on-going racism. What facts about the four “children” that Mr. Dunn shot at are they leaving out? Is this case really a “stand your ground” case? We’ve got the expert on this case, who has provided blow-by-blow coverage of the trial since it began, Andrew Branca of The Law of Self-Defense.

Closing reminder to the folks at Groupon on this Presidents’ Day weekend: Alexander Hamilton was never actually president.

GOP Will Bring Amnesty Back After Election

A Commentary by J. D. Longstreet

****************
They’ve lost what little trust I had in them.  The Establishment Republicans in the US House of Representatives, I mean.

boehnersombrero

Let me be clear.  If the GOP manages to pass amnesty for illegal aliens through the House of Representatives before November of 2016, they will have to ram it down the throats of the conservative base.  If they are prepared to do that, then we invite then to, by all means, go for it.  But they should be prepared to assume minority party status in a three party system afterwards.

I say that because conservatives are preparing to bolt the party and wipe the dust of the GOP off their feet on the way out.

If the conservatives pull out, you can stick a fork in the GOP, for it will be done.

It’s time also for the Tea Party to begin throwing it’s considerable weight around.  I would respectfully suggest that the Tea Party leaders need to huddle and come up with new plans to further the conservative cause within the GOP and the Congress as a whole.   We all know where “nice guys” finish.

In an article entitled: “Memo to Conservatives: Republicans Aren’t Your Friends”  authored by Matthew Vadum at Canada Free Press, Mr. Vadum says:  “Republicans are nice people.  Too many Republicans think it’s wrong to criticize other Republicans. This failure to be forthright has had consequences.  It has allowed the Republican Party to take up political space it has no business occupying as it embraces left-wing statist tyranny.  Much of the time, the GOP is merely Democrat-lite.

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) are so dangerously out of touch and out of control nowadays in part because other Republicans have allowed them to get that way.  Boehner and McConnell regard conservatives as a nuisance to be overcome, co-opted, subverted, and if necessary, eliminated.

A new way of thinking is required.”

I could not agree more with Mr. Vadum.  It is time for the Tea Party to say to the establishment republicans:  “You owe us — BIG TIME — and we are here to collect!   No more relegation to the back benches of the House or Senate. We want committee chairs and positions on committees and any other power position within which conservatives can boost the conservative agenda.”

I left the Republican Party after approximately 50 years as a registered Republican. I left for two reasons — the GOP’s swing to the left and the manner in which the establishment Republicans continued to treat conservative Republicans — to wit — as if conservatives were the red-headed step child.

Again, I agree with Mr. Vadum when he says: “The time has come for conservatives in the Republican Party to stop being nice.  RINOs Karl Rove (who nearly lost George W. Bush the presidency twice), Boehner, McConnell, and the rest of the GOP congressional leadership have declared war on the Tea Party, the same movement to which the Republican Party owes its continuing existence.  Boehner would not be speaker of the House if the Tea Party hadn’t boosted the GOP in 2010 and 2012.”

Some claim the GOP establishment have declared war against the Tea Party.  If that is true, they should be aware they will lose.  See, the Tea Party IS the grassroots of the Republican Party.  That means the establishment will be pitted against the base, the foundation of their party and any damage done will be to themselves and not to the conservative base.

I am still convinced the GOP plans to pass Amnesty … “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” SOON.  It appears we conservatives may have momentarily frightened them away from action before the November elections.  However, I feel certain they will revive the issue and pass some form of Amnesty — quickly — after the November election.

The indications are there. From The Daily Caller:  ”The Department of Homeland Security is already preparing to implement immigration reform legislation, according to DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson.

“When reform legislation is enacted, DHS must be prepared to implement reform. So to prepare for this potential outcome, I have already directed the deputy director of homeland security to coordinate the process to ensure we are ready to implement the law,” Johnson said Friday at the Woodrow Wilson International Center, during his first major policy address since becoming DHS’s fourth secretary.”

And then there is this, from National Review:

“National Review Online reached out to Goodlatte’s (Bob Goodlatte R., Va., chairman of the House Judiciary Committee) office several times regarding the drafting of new legislation, the possibility of that legislation being drafted this year, and whether or not Chairman Goodlatte had ruled out that possibility. The responses from a committee aide suggest that he hasn’t.”
The article at National Review Online continues:  “It’s understandable, of course, for politicians to keep their options open. But it also underscores the point that the media doom and gloom surrounding immigration reform in the House is entirely overblown.”

We recommend you read the entire article at National Review Online.

America desperately needs a two-party system rather than the one and-a-half party system we have now.  We can’t do that as long as the GOP is riven in twain as it is today.

America stands at a critical moment in its history and now is not the time for division, derision, and/or contemptible conduct to weaken the resolve of those who wish to conduct the nation back towards its constitutional foundation.

Sadly, if the GOP cannot pull itself together, then there appears no recourse except that which allows for conservatives to split from the party — and found a party of their own.  At the moment it may appear the least appealing, but it may, in the long run, save the nation.

It is an  exasperating situation for those of us who dwell on the political right.  With a resounding victory at hand, one we can almost taste, to have the engine that drives our conservative train faltering when the finish line is in sight is immeasurably frustrating.

If I could grasp the GOP by the shoulders, I’d shake the heck out of them and exclaim in their collective faces:  “Pull it together, people!”

A final reminder:  If the GOP is truly serious about ridding itself of conservatives, Tea Party and otherwise, then all they need do is pass any form of immigration reform that allows a so-called pathway for citizenship — amnesty — for the illegal aliens within our borders.

When the southern border with Mexico is secured, THEN and only THEN can we seriously look at immigration reform.

Look.  Two hundred years before Christ walked this earth, the Chinese began building a wall that eventually stretched 13,170 miles long and across 15 provinces.  America can place a man on the moon, a robot on Mars, and a telescope in space that (they tell us) has the potential of seeing all the way back to the moment of creation — but we can’t seem to build a wall (or fence) only 1,954 miles long?

All that is needed is the political will to get the job done.  (Speaking of jobs … how many jobs would building that wall create?)

The United States of Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Obama’s America: Today On The Teri O’Brien Show, 2-9-14

I wish I could take credit for that headline, but I can’t. It comes from a spot-on piece that we will discuss on today’s show, exploring the destruction of exceptional America, a takedown that was a fantasy shared by all of Barack Obama’s communist mentors, from Frank Marshall Davis to Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright. Just as heroin addiction is a form of slow motion suicide, so is the gradual “remaking” of this country from one of proud, free men and women enjoying their God-given rights to a nation of supplicants, dependent on the government for subsidence the end of the country we grew up in.

In the wake of California’s attempt to do an end run around the 2nd Amendment, Smith and Wesson and Sturm Ruger have elected to leave the state. What are they so upset about? More important, should you also be upset? We’ll ask our guest, author and nationally-renowned 2nd amendment attorney David Hardy.

I’ve been telling you that you can stop the elites from selling us out by giving amnesty to illegal aliens, and so far, you have. Now democrats, desperate to get their scheme in place, made a full court press. on Sunday shows. Will the GOP get fooled again?

Sen. Rand Paul takes it to the Clintons by simply stating the obvious about Bill Clinton. Is this just common sense, good politics or both?

Valentine’s Day is Friday, and love will be in the air, but in this age, when marriage has been virtually destroyed, what does it mean? In August 2008, in what should have been a stunning and disqualifying answer to the question “at what point does a baby get human rights?” presidential candidate Sen.Barack Obama infamously replied that the question was “above my pay grade.” I don’t know if the fact that he wasn’t run out of the presidential race after that flippant, cringe-inducing answer is evidence of just how dumbed down and uninformed the electorate has become. I do know that anyone familiar with his voting record and statements over his years in public life knows that he lied when pretended not to have an opinion on that question. Clearly, since he voted against requiring doctors to provide emergency medical care to a baby fortunate enough to survive an abortion, he doesn’t believe a baby is a human being even at birth. Perhaps in Obama’s mind, he achieves that status when he is able to go on-line and sign up for food stamps or some other federal government program. In addition, we know that he has said he doesn’t want his daughters “punished with a baby” if they make a “mistake” that results in an unplanned pregnancy. Lori Dunham, author of “Reflections on the Ring” found herself pregnant after a sexual encounter with a man she barely knew. Her story of how she not only survived, but thrived, in a marriage that started with a “mistake” is a genuinely inspiring story of love, faith and family.

Republicans Flirting with Disaster on Amnesty for “Undocumented”

A Commentary by J. D. Longstreet
***************
From WOP’s to “Wetbacks” to illegal aliens to undocumented immigrants,  the fact remains — they broke the law.  (By the way, for the young among you, WOP is an acronym.  It stands for WithOut Papers.) Recently US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is reported to have said that referring to illegal aliens as “criminals” seems insulting to her.  That may be, but the fact remains they broke US law, therefore they ARE criminals. Consider this from an article entitled, “Sotomayor: Labeling Illegal Immigrants Criminals Is Insulting”:

“Sotomayor was asked at a talk at Yale Law School later in the day about her use of the term “undocumented immigrants” rather than the traditional illegal alien. Sotomayor characterized the issue as a regulatory problem and said labeling immigrants criminals seemed insulting to her.

I think people then paint those individuals as something less than worthy human beings and it changes the conversation,” Sotomayor said.”

Here’s the thing:   Which “conversation” is Justice Sotomayor listening to, and/or taking part in?  Because, you see,  the conversation I most often hear is the one about the criminals breaking and entering our country across our southern border with Mexico.  Oh, and I might add that silly politically correct nomenclature used by Justice Sotomayor as in: “undocumented immigrants” incites belly laughs of derision for the leftist airheads who insist on using such infantile language to justify illegal activities by the less fortunate of other countries who choose to compound their current station in life by becoming criminals in an adjoining country.

The conversation I most often hear decries the cost to US taxpayers of supporting the illegal aliens.

In an article entitled:  “The Fiscal Cost of Unlawful Immigrants and Amnesty to the U.S. Taxpayer” written by Robert Rector and Jason Richwine, Ph.D. at heritage.org, we learn this:  “In 2010, the average unlawful immigrant household received around $24,721 in government benefits and services while paying some $10,334 in taxes. This generated an average annual fiscal deficit (benefits received minus taxes paid) of around $14,387 per household. This cost had to be borne by U.S. taxpayers. Amnesty would provide unlawful households with access to over 80 means-tested welfare programs, Obamacare, Social Security, and Medicare. The fiscal deficit for each household would soar.”

From that same article we learn this:

“The typical unlawful immigrant is 34 years old. After amnesty, this individual will receive government benefits, on average, for 50 years. Restricting access to benefits for the first 13 years after amnesty therefore has only a marginal impact on long-term costs.

If amnesty is enacted, the average adult unlawful immigrant would receive $592,000 more in government benefits over the course of his remaining lifetime than he would pay in taxes.

Over a lifetime, the former unlawful immigrants together would receive $9.4 trillion in government benefits and services and pay $3.1 trillion in taxes. They would generate a lifetime fiscal deficit (total benefits minus total taxes) of $6.3 trillion. (All figures are in constant 2010 dollars.) This should be considered a minimum estimate. It probably understates real future costs because it undercounts the number of unlawful immigrants and dependents who will actually receive amnesty and underestimates significantly the future growth in welfare and medical benefits.”

Not only is the US being invaded by a virtual army of illegal aliens, the US taxpayer is being taken to the cleaners as well.

While Congressmen are reassuring their electorate back home that no immigration reform bill will pass the House this year, it seems Republicans and Democrats, from the House and Senate,  are meeting secretly in an attempt to reach an agreement on immigration reform, which will, no doubt, provide a pathway to citizenship.

Consider this from politico.com:

“It sometimes seems like House Republicans are in their own universe when it comes to rewriting the nation’s immigration laws. But since late last year, key House Republicans have been meeting with House and Senate Democrats as they try to reach a deal.”

It is important to note, I think, that Speaker  Boehner and Congressman Paul Ryan have both advocated for some form of legislation this year. …

“Activists from United We Dream, a broad network of young immigrants, fanned out all over Capitol Hill and visited roughly 50 House Democratic and Republican offices, distributing a list of their own principles for immigration reform. Topping their list: a “meaningful and inclusive path to citizenship for undocumented Americans.”

Read more here.

OK.  So, the GOP wants us to believe there will be no agreement this year.  But do you trust them?  I don’t.

And why, in the world does the GOP think Hispanics and Asians are going to vote for republicans?  What the deuce are they smoking up there on the hill?

Reading a few nationally recognized polls should shed some light on the liberalism of Hispanics and Asians and their dislike of capitalism.  For instance, in this article from National Review we learn the following: (EDITOR’s Note: This is the same piece referenced here at teriobrien.com on 2/5/14.)

“The 2008 National Annenberg Election Survey found that 62 percent of immigrants prefer a single, government-run health-care system. The 2010 Cooperative Congressional Election Study found that 69 percent of immigrants support Obamacare. Pew also found that 53 percent of Hispanics have a negative view of capitalism, the highest of any group surveyed. This is even higher than the 47 percent among self-identified supporters of Occupy Wall Street.

The Pew Research Center has also found that 75 percent of Hispanics prefer a “bigger government providing more services,” and only 19 percent prefer a smaller government. Pew also reported that 55 percent of Asians prefer “bigger government providing more services,” and only 36 percent prefer a smaller government. So it’s no surprise that in 2012, 71 percent of Hispanics and 73 percent of Asians voted for Obama.”
Let me be clear:  If the House passes an immigration  reform bill before November, the Republicans can write off the 2014 election. It will be over.  The GOP will lose its chance to win control of the Senate and may, in fact, lose control of the House, because conservative republicans — and independents — will stay home in utter disgust.

That Phyllis Schlafly Immigration Report: Amnesty Destroys American Way of Life

As you have heard in the last few days, one-time Teri O’Brien Show guest and founder of Eagle Forum, conservative legend Phyllis Schafly has published a report, documenting the devastating effect that amnesty will have on our country. From National Review:

By itself, the annual flow of 1.1 million legal immigrants under the current system will create more than 5 million new potential voters by 2024 and more than 8 million by 2028. Congressional Budget Office projections indicate that under the Senate Gang of Eight’s S.744 bill, the total additional potential voters would rise to nearly 10 million by 2024 and 18 million by 2028. The influx of these new voters would reduce or eliminate Republicans’ ability to offer an alternative to big government, to increased government spending, to higher taxes, and to favorite liberal policies such as Obamacare and gun control.

There is nothing controversial about the report’s conclusion that both Hispanics and Asians, who account for about three-fourth of today’s immigrants, generally agree with the Democrats’ big-government agenda. It is for this reason that they vote two-to-one for Democrats.

The 2008 National Annenberg Election Survey found that 62 percent of immigrants prefer a single, government-run health-care system. …Heather Mac Donald of the Manhattan Institute points out that it “is not immigration policy that creates the strong bond between Hispanics and the Democratic party, but the core Democratic principles of a more generous safety net, strong government intervention in the economy, and progressive taxation.”

Mr. Boehner, Mr. Cantor and Mr. Ryan, I think that you might want to revisit your desire to see the GOP commit suicide and destroy the country I grew up in in the process.

King Barack’s Super Bowl of Deceit, Lies, and Broken Promises: Today On The Teri O’Brien Show, 2-2-14

IMPORTANT NOTE: Today’s show will begin 1 hour earlier, at 3 pm Central, to make sure you can be ready for the kickoff.

Like most Americans, I love the Super Bowl, and I want to publicly declare here and now, that, despite years of warnings from feminists, I don’t fear being slapped around by the Husband today. Their war on football is gaining traction, but for now, we can still enjoy the game.

It’s also Groundhog Day, which is an AWESOME movie, by the way, and in the age of the most lawless regime in American history, is also another way of saying it’s another day. While the last century media wants to talk about Chris Christie, Justin Beiber and Amanda Knox, a leftist ideologue continues lying, shucking and jiving to accomplish his “remaking” of America. It’s hard to keep track of all the lies and broken promises from the One, but since we watch so you don’t have to, we’ll remind you of some you may have forgotten, a veritable Super Bowl of lies. Which whopper do you think should win as biggest one of all?

Speaking of how we watch so you don’t have to, we witnessed Barack Obama’s “virtual road trip” on Friday, a Google+ hangout. Based on what we saw there, and in the interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper—and I know you may find it difficult to believe—but he may be talking out of both sides of his mouth on the issue of “comprehensive immigration reform.” His PR flacks, sometimes called “journalists,” are expressing despair after his latest borefest, last Tuesday’s State of the Union speech. Is he a “shrinking president,” playing small ball instead realizing his ambitious 1st-term agenda? That sort of thing happens when your approval rating drops into the high thirties, but there could be a lot more to it than that. We’ll unpack it for you.

We’ve been warning you about Republican elites betrayal of the American people on the issue of amnesty, reminding you of 2007, when we killed it. We have some good news today. They are hearing you, so don’t let up.

War on Women File: Speaking of Groundhog Day, a prominent liberal female columnist says that Rand Paul has a point about Hillary.

Who will win today’s Super Bowl? What say you? Which commercial do you like best? Oh yes, you can see them before the Big Game.
