On their way out of the leadership of the U.S. Senate, the America is Always Wrong Party aka the White Flag party aka the 9/10 party, the Democrat party, led by Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-America Sucks), will release what has come to be known as the “torture report.” From the Washington Times:

President Obama said Tuesday that a long-awaited Senate report on CIA torture of terrorism suspects details “a troubling program” that harmed America’s reputation, reasons that he ended the practices soon after taking office.

In a statement before Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California released the report, Mr. Obama said the probe “reinforces my long-held view that these harsh methods were not only inconsistent with our values as nation, they did not serve our broader counterterrorism efforts or our national security interests.”

The spent $40 million on what former Vice President Dick Cheney accurately calls “a bunch of hooey.” The enhanced interrogation program undertaken by the Bush administration after 9/11 was authorized. It was legal, and it saved lives.  The men and women who carried it out deserve our praise and thanks. End of story.

CNN quotes the report:

“In many cases, the most aggressive techniques were used immediately, in combination and non-stop,” the report says. “Sleep deprivation involved keeping detainees awake for up to 180 hours, usually standing or in painful stress positions, at times with their hands shackled above their heads.”
In one facility, a detainee was said to have died of hypothermia after being held “partially nude” and chained to a concrete floor, while at other times, naked prisoners were hooded and dragged up and down corridors while being slapped and punched.
Multiple CIA detainees subjected to the techniques suffered from hallucinations, paranoia, insomnia and tried to mutilate themselves, the report says.
On one occasion, high-value al Qaeda suspect Abu Zubaydah became completely unresponsive after a period of intense waterboarding. He had “bubbles rising through his open full mouth,” the report says.
Meanwhile, the confessed mastermind of the September 11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammad, was subjected to a “series of near drownings.”

What sleep deprivation? How dare they subject head chopping maniacs to that?!!! Boo freakin’ hoo!

And of course there won’t be any negative consequences to the Democrats’ indulging their Bush Derangement Syndrome. Oh wait

Thousands of marines at U.S. diplomatic posts and military bases around the world are on alert amid fears the graphic details of how detainees were treated could spark a violent backlash.

Obama’s democrat party: First a war on local police and law enforcement, now a war on the U.S. military. If that’s not hope and change, I don’t know what is!

  1. I for one do not have a problem with the way these unlawful combatants were treated. When you brutally murder 3000 Americans on US soil there should be consequences for those actions. You must also put this matter in perspective. The so called harsh measures that these unlawful combatants experienced are quite mild compared to the genuinely harsh measures that the Islamists take against those that they consider infidels that are unfortunate to fall into their bloody hands. No one’s head was removed during one of these interrogations.

    • Precisely. If you heard the show, you heard the hilarious exchange between NBC’s Chuck Todd and Dick Cheney, in which Chuck speculated on what we would do if ISIS waterboarded an American. Seriously he said that, only to have Dick Cheney, a grownup explain that ISIS doesn’t waterboard. They cut people’s heads off.
