I Never Thought I’d Say It, But Here Goes: I Agree with Keith Olbermann

keith_olbermann_tcaRemember back in the day when Keith “I caught my head in a subway door” Olbermann used to have a program on the 24/7 televised nuthouse? I watched, as I always do, so you didn’t have to, and got some crazy audio. Here’s a sample, a rant against Keith’s favorite target, President George W. Bush:

So today when I saw this story from the Hollywood Reporter, “Keith Olbermann Compares Watching MSNBC to Drunk-Driving Car Crash,” I took notice. I realize that he is a disgruntled former employee of the televised insane asylum, and over and above that, he’s a guy who can’t seem to get along with people anywhere, and therefore, eager to criticize his former employer. Still, a stopped clock is right twice a day, and this is one of those times.

The TV host tweeted on Wednesday that watching the cable news network is “like watching friends in a crashing car w/a drunk driver.”
Olbermann’s comment comes on the heels of his revelation that he hasn’t actually watched the network since 2009. It should be noted that he worked there until 2011.
When contacted in February by Talking Points Memo about a Morning Joe segment, Olbermann replied in an email: “I don’t know anything about this as I’ve never watched [Joe] Scarborough’s shows and I stopped watching msnbc in 2009.”

I completely understand, KO. It is still PAINFUL to watch MS-NBC.
