What Could Possibly Go Wrong? Lawyer in Charge of Producing Lois Lerner’s IRS E-Mails Now in Charge of Producing Hillary’s

Meet Catherine Duval, once in charge of producing IRS’ emails. Instead she destroyed evidence after there was an order not to do so. Now she’s in charge of producing Hillary’s emails.

From Politico:

A year ago, Catherine Duval was embroiled in the scandal over former IRS official Lois Lerner’s lost emails.

Now the top government attorney is heading up another document project in the cross hairs of Congress: the State Department’s release of Hillary Clinton’s emails and Libya documents to the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

And Republican GOP investigators are raising red flags, accusing her and the State Department of stonewalling Congress by narrowly interpreting document requests and failing to disclose important information.

“The person in charge of document production at two different places on two different scandals has not been completely straightforward with us,” said Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), a top IRS and Benghazi investigator, in an interview. “She was at the IRS when there was a preservation order and subpoena — and documents were destroyed. She is now at the State Department, where we were supposed to get [certain] information, and we know that some of the emails were not given.”

What a stunning coincidence! Obviously Catherine Duval is an Obama Regime “cleaner,” who shows up whenever they need to destroy the evidence of their lies.

Even the gang at Morning Joe admits it: The Clintons are always hiding something.

  1. You really didn’t think they were going to put someone in charge of the distribution of those emails that couldn’t be relied upon to destroy the emails that were damning, embarrassing, or otherwise inconvenient, did you? Who better than someone who has already demonstrated their willingness to do so?

    • Absolutely! The amazing thing is that they can just move this obvious “cleaner” from the IRS, where she made sure the hard drive and backup tapes were destroyed, over to the latest project, trying to protect the extremely corrupt Hillary Clinton.

  2. Nixon was forced to resign over far less. Where’s the outrage?

  3. In the 70’s the refusal to turn over 18 minutes of audiotape to ostensibly conceal intelligence gathering activities against political opponents was widely considered sufficient grounds for the impeachment of President Nixon. Today, deliberately destroying emails to conceal the use of official authority to extra-judiciously punish political enemies as well as the use of a stand alone server to conceal the activities of the Executive branch from scrutiny by the Legislative branch produces nothing more than guffaws and yawns from the hardcore left-entrenched media when impeachment of President Obama is suggested.
